Great Hassle-Free Deal
by Linda on 11/26/2024
I had a very pleasant and positive experience with Passport Mazda. My sales Consultant was Tonya Mickey. She was excellent…friendly, professional, knowledgeable and above all…very patient. Just when I thought I would be unable to purchase… my Mazda CX-5, she and her team worked very hard and made it happen. I am now a proud owner of a Mazda CX-5. If you’re looking for a hassle-free, great deal on your next vehicle, I suggest you contact Passport Mazda and ask for Tonya Mickey. You will not be disappointed. Tell Tonya that Linda sent you. 🙂

Very Satisfied Customer
by TimCoulter on 09/05/2019My 4th Mazda vehicle in a row; my third consecutive CX-5; Aaliyah, Andrew and Paula were extremely courteous, knowledgeable and professional; did most of the deal on-line; no surprises once at the dealership; also received fair value for my… trade; overall an excellent experience; no reason my 5th Mazda won't be from Passport.Passport is changing the car-buying game!
by Alana on 08/26/2019From the moment I made contact with Passport to the moment I took possession of my new car, I was super impressed. I was a hard sale as I had many bad experienced under my belt and also nickel and dimed them for every bit of savings. I… walked away feeling like I got a great deal from a team of people that were just as invested in me getting a great deal as I was. Carlos in Internet Sales was honest and fair and I never once felt pressured to purchase a car. Paula in finance is like NO OTHER. I was legit afraid to go into the finance department because of all the horror stories I've had at other dealers. She was the complete opposite. She explained everything, without any pressure, and worked expeditiously and efficiently. Lastly, Slavenko the GM, was super patient in explaining to me the OFAC process which I swore up and down meant he was checking my credit =P Even coming back to turn in my title and having Andrew, the sales manager greet me personally and thank me for purchasing. The dealership is also beautiful. Thank you Passport for a great experience. I love my car and would recommend them in a heartbeat!Good Buying Experience at Passport Mazda
by Mark on 08/01/2019** Recommended if you're looking for a new Mazda...My wife and I had a very good buying experience at Passport Mazda in Suitland, Maryland. My sales person was Aaliyah and she was a great resource and very knowledgeable on the vehicle I… purchased. It was a no fuss deal - no dickering back and forth. On the return to the dealership from a test drive, I told Aaliyah that I wanted to know the best "out the door" price. After a minute or two, the sales manager presented the price and it was lower that what I had found during my research of this vehicle. I qualified for low interest rate financing and I convinced them to throw in a free oil change. Overall, it was a great experience in a nicely, redesigned showroom facility. A final shout out goes to Rafael, the internet sales manager, with whom I made first contact about the purchase.Fantastic
by Fantastic on 07/24/2019Highly recommended. We had an outstanding experience with Passport Mazda, Kim Lewis in particular. We found them on USAA's TruCar service and communicated with Kim via email. He quoted us a competitive price from the onset but we received… a better offer. They beat the "out the door price" so we went with them. We started the paperwork via email so that when we arrived at the dealership we were in and out in about 90 minutes. Super easy, great service, definitely buy from Passport Mazda.I will absolutely buy from them again!
by Brad on 06/12/2019The most pleasant car buying experience in my life. I have to give a special shout out to Tonya Mickey, my sales rep. I enjoyed our interactions from the very start. I had plenty of time to look for a deal and she gave me an excellent… quote from the start. I shopped around, since I had plenty of time to buy a new car and I wanted to be sure I found a professional, helpful team to handle any future issues I might have with this new purchase. I failed to find anyone as relaxed and confident as Tonya and her co-workers. And this needs to be said with emphasis, Even Though they Didn't Have the car I wanted at the time, I Chose This Dealership to work with (and order my car) based solely on the exceptional professionalism of Tonya and the entire staff. I was contacted by multiple competing dealerships who said they had the car or could get it sooner, but I never found the same level of professionalism across the board as I did with the Suitland team. The general manager, the other sales reps, the finance team, and the owner are all professional and helpful. No drama, just a highly knowledgeable team. Before you buy anywhere else, do yourself a favor--Visit This Team. You'll see what I mean. I buy a lot of cars, and I'm usually glad to put dealers in the rearview mirror. However, I look forward to working with Tonya and her team again in the future. Thanks again Tonya!Smooth Sailing at Passport Mazda - No pressure sales and service
by eightyeight80 on 05/09/2019I had a great experience with Passport Mazda. I came there prepared - I knew what car I wanted, what I wanted for my trade, and how much I wanted to pay. For what it's worth, I enjoyed the entire process. More details of my experience… are below --- Web Referral Was Great!: Almost immediately following my web inquiry, I received an email from Anwar, sales manager asking if I had any questions. He answered my questions concerning stock, and my trade-in - we and set up an appointment. After meeting, he saw that I had worked with Mark Bowers in the past and asked if I would like to work with him - I said of course! (I bought my 2015 CX-5 and he made the purchase a pure pleasure). Mark Bowers is THE guy: Mark is energetic and knowledgeable in all things Mazda. Since I had worked with him in the past the whole sales process was a breeze. I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. After two test drives I knew what model I wanted - Mark made it happen - I never felt he was pressuring me - we moved to the next step, finance. Richard in Finance is Great: Richard provided me with plenty of finance options, offering me competitive rates, not only through Mazda, but other banks and credit unions (who would have thought?!) - while I ultimately decided to go with my credit union for convenience purchases, he was not only meet their rate, but beat it. Richard also let me know about the different warranty options. Like Mark, I never felt pressured. I got a good deal on an extended warranty that covers small bumps/dings - thanks Richard! Cande and Matthew in Service Matthew are Top Notch: Cande and Matthew in service are great. When you go in for service Passport sends you a text - pretty convenient. I had my 5,000 mile service, hitch installed, and other accessories for my CX-9 set-up/installed here. Cande kept me updated on my car's progress and explained everything that was done. Matthew made sure I was happy with the work and did all he could to ensure excellent customer service. Passport Mazda Service is great. Definitely appreciate Cande and Matthew. You won't be disappointed!Good experience
by Satisfied on 02/20/2019Salesman (Stas) gave me a quote up front that was better than buying services. He even gave an out-the-door quote which was accurate. He was very accommodating and did a good job explaining the operation of the car's many features.Leased a new car with fantastic Passport Tram
by HeShePretty on 02/19/2019I am new to Passport and found the sales and finance representatives, as well as the managers I met, to be extremely helpful, willing to work with my budget, brought cars from other dealerships for me to see, it was exceptional service… Iâm anworld of sharks. Passport folks were not sharks with me and I really appreciated it. I got the exact car I wanted for the budget I had, so Win Win for everyone.Worst Dealership Ever
by dkim184 on 03/19/2017Passport Mazda is the worst dealership I've ever dealt with. I leased a Mazda3 through here and the car is fantastic, but all the pain I had to go through to get everything finalized, definitely not worth it. Muhammed is the worst and… you should never do business with him. Don't trust whatever he says because he's probably lying to you. He won't admit his faults and blames you for it. I can't believe he's a manager who's deal with customer service. I've been many dealerships all over and I've never experienced anything like it. Even if it's farther, I'd recommend you take your money either to Brown's Fairfax Mazda or Ourisman Mazda.Tire Replacement Under (Tire) Warranty
by ltony54 on 09/11/2016For the most part, I am very pleased with Passport Mazda Service Department. I have after market wheels on my car and they left them a little dirty and the new tire wasn't cleaned to my liking. Overall though, I am very pleased with their… service and pretty confident that their service recommendations are needed honest service repairs and not fabricated. Julie is simply awesome! I have learned so much about my Miata from her!!!Very helpful and responsive
by Tom_Leasing on 06/27/2016I was interested in leasing a Mazda CX-5 (2016). I requested a quote from three dealers in my area. In the quote, I wanted to know the 36 month residual factor, the money factor (or interest rate) and the total monthly payment. I… provided the dealers with my credit score. I didn't want to waste time going to three dealers listening to sales pitches and wasting time with finance departments. One dealership wouldn't give a quote unless "I came in to fill out some papers." Another gave me a quote but said "we will be able to give a better deal if you come in for a test drive." Both cases would keep me as a captive audience (wasting my time). Passport was the only one that gave me a quote. I went to the dealership and leased the vehicle the next day. Very up front and helpful staff.Out of the box SALE
by vabuilder on 05/05/2015My wife and I had looked for about a month for the best deal on a new CX-5. We found the deal at Passport Mazda. The only problem was the dealership was over 200 miles away. We could not get a local (Hampton Roads area of VA) dealership… to sell a similar vehicle at the price Alan had agreed to sell his CX-5. Then Mark Bowers, salesman extraordinaire, stepped in and said he would drive the vehicle to our house. Deal done!! WOW!!bait and switch
by philly123 on 02/03/2015I had almost the exact same experience as the previous commenter - we must have had the same finance guy because he said some of the same things to me WORD FOR WORD (such as "...we shouldn't worry about the higher rate because we could… simply pay off the loan in a week and take out another loan from our credit union." Bottom line is I came in asking for the price the dealer themselves put up on cargurus.com. They waved that price off - it wasn't even in consideration - and presented a whole new set of numbers. The salesman and finance guy were friendly enough, but they got me in the door with a price they refused to honor.Deceptive Practices
by ronbialek on 12/30/2014My advice is to stay far away from this dealership. I was provided a quote for a Mazda 3 s Touring. When I believed the quote was far lower than seemed realistic, I called the salesperson. He acknowledged he sent a quote for an i touring.… He apologized and agreed to send a quote for the Mazda s Touring. The price again was very good, so I called to verify what was included, any strings on rebates, etc. The salesperson stated that the quoted price was the actual price and even provided an "out the door" price. I then traveled 30 miles to complete the transaction. Upon arriving at the dealership, one salesperson tried to steer us towards the i Touring model, and even drove one up to the door for us to see. When I said we were not interested and simply wanted to sign papers and move on, I was told that the $750 rebate we were promised was only if we took out a higher interest Mazda loan. The salesperson said we shouldn't worry about the higher rate because we could simply pay off the loan in a week and take out another loan from our credit union. The salesperson also said that he quoted us the price for an i Touring, not an s Touring car. When it was clear that this dealership was trying to scam us into buying something we didn't want, and it was clear that we were lied to about the s Touring quote, we left and said we'd be sure to file complaints. We ended up purchasing our car from Ourisman Honda in Rockville, MD. This was an honest dealership with an honest salesperson. Stay away from Passport Mazda.
