    Nicely greeted, fast service and a shuttle to drop me off at a store while I wait. This was all obtained on a walk in service request. Amazing.

    Yes Mr Wells and Adams Suzuki was a far better experience than Adams Chevrolet. Did not feel lied to or cheated in any way at Adams Suzuki. Sale of the Suzuki was fast and efficient. Staff took the time when i came back two days latter to go over the car with me. Never had a issue with the service department. I would get my car back in the condition it arrived in and they would replace wiper blades and light bulbs at no charge. They would just say we found a bulb out and your wipers looked worn so we replaced them. I would still be driving the car had the gas mileage been better and the controls being red at night with small print made it very difficult on my eyes. When i bought my Spark it was a total 180 from buying my Suzuki. Not going into the issues on that again but ended up filing a claim with the BBB after a month of being ignored by the salesman and sales manager. Mr Adams ended up calling me and after the second phone call with him and GM customer service i was given a few hundred back and a $100.00 maintenance letter from GM. Was also told the salesman was fired. In January i brought my car in for service and when i left i found that someone had apparently gone as a passenger for a test drive of some sort. I work out of my car so the passenger side seat and floor had lots of stuff there. Also was a Giant Foods shopping bag folded up on the floor. Instead of the person opening the bag and placing the stuff from the passenger side in it they just scooped it all up and threw it in the back seat and left it that way. As i was pulling out of the dealership i noticed my passenger side mirror was facing the ground. Not such a big deal if you have electric mirrors. Since it was cloudy with light snow that day i could see the reflection of my brake lights in the big glass windows there. One light was out. I then turned on my rear wiper to clear the snow and get a better look and watched as a torn rear wiper screeched across the back window. I was very angry at this point and did not have time to go back inside to complain. So in July i did the on-line thing for service and put most of what i just said in the comments or what-ever box in the on-line form. Arrived at the dealership and verbally told the service guy the same stuff again plus i had noticed small oil spots on my driveway. He did not bat an eye, look away from the computer screen or comment on what i had just said. When the car was done he come into the waiting area and said “your all good Mr Snyder” so i assumed that it was. That night i decided to check the rear tail light and was shocked to see it was still out as well as a license plate light. Rear wiper was still torn as well. Then latter as i was looking at my Onstar monthly reports it said cabin air filter should be changed so i took it out and it was full of leaves and crap. So i just wrote you guys off at that point. Multi-point inspection? Really? You miss all that twice? Then i noticed two weeks ago that the front tires looked extremely worn for 26,000 miles and that oil spots were still appearing on the driveway. The rear tires showed no edge wear and it appeared they have not been rotated at all. So i called and spoke to Joe. Told him the whole story plus there was a wiring harness hanging down in the passenger side foot-well. Oh Mr Snyder bring it in and we will look it over real good he said. So Jerry waits on me and actually acts like he cares. Two hours latter i get a sorry we should have caught all that last time and it appears that the tires were probably not rotated. I replied well if the tires were that worn at 24,000 why did no one say anything? As i understand it there is a new DOT regulation that states that the best tires have to stay on the rear of the car. If they had been rotated from the start the tires would have worn evenly all the way around. So the rears have 6/32 nds and the fronts are 2/32 nds and i HAVE to buy new tires. Really? Oh and it appears Joe did not relay everything i told him to Jerry since i forgot about the wiring harness and it is still hanging down. Plus out of curiosity i left the dome light cover sitting on the dash with no bulb in it since it was burned out. No one ever ask or mentioned it. On to the next page. When i was a shop foreman at an automotive after-market customization shop and there was a issue such as this i for one would meet with the customer and also as a good will gesture give them something for free. Try to keep the customer happy and hope for repeat business. What did i get? A quote for four new tires and light replacement. I then said light bulbs are not covered under the bumper to bumper? No i was told. So i left and called GM customer service. The person could not tell me if they were or not. Said they would have to look it up and get back to me. I looked in the warranty section and could find no mention of light bulbs whatsoever. Never remember having to pay for light bulbs on any new vehicle i have owned under warranty. Actually never had three lights go out in under 3 years either. So no good will gesture of any kind was made. No prorated replacement tires or free light replacement. I bought all three bulbs for $19.00 and put them in myself. It took ten minutes. So i figures they must cost you guys less than $10.00 for all three. So to take a few minutes and at a cost of few dollars after missing stuff two times in a row would have been a small price to pay to lower the crappy opinion i have of Adams Chevy. I had no problem paying for a new rear wiper since that i consider a wear n tear item. The oil leak appears to have stopped though. So i lost $60.00 dollars in wages plus $19.00 for light bulbs and an hour n a half drive round trip for nothing really. Don’t have that great GM feeling especially since i have to buy new tires at around $500.00 or so when that should not be the case at 26,000 miles. I do remember having to replace tires on another car i had at 38,000 and thought that was bad. I got a new Onstar report a week after my last visit that says my tire pressure is 32 psi, supposed to be 40 psi. It appears the tires wear not checked in that regard either. I understand GM has a social media section now so i will post this here n there on the net to see if they catch wind of it. That is all for now, William Douglas Snyder

    My 30K service was overdue on my 2010 Camaro SS and, I left my 10% discount coupon at home but, the guys at the Adams Chevy service desk did everything possible to make my bill as low as possible and even threw in a free spark plug wire kit worth well over $70. My car was well taken care of my only wish was that they could have washed the car but all in all they did a great job!!!

    I have two vehicles (one is not a Chevy) and take both to Adams Chevrolet for all service. They are number one in my book.

  • $200 to replace headlight bulb?

    I have been a loyal customer of Adams for 8 years, but this last visit is my last. $200 to replace the bulb in the headlight of my 2008 Malibu! I realize GM has made it virtually impossible to do simply maintenance on their vehicles and you're almost forced to go to a mechanic for oil changes and replacing headlight bulbs now. Adams never offered a quote and charged me for 1 1/2 hours of labor which is ridiculous. Not even the mechanics themselves would pay $200 to have their headlight bulbs replaced. Loyalty means nothing to them. The manager in the service department only dropped the price by $50 after I complained. Every time I go to Adams I always feel like I'm being hustled by the service department. My recommendation to anyone who needs a bulb replaced in their headlight, don't go to Adams. Call around or take the time to do it yourself - even though on the Malibu it requires removing the bumper.

    I always take my Equinox there for service. The guys (Jerry & co.) are wonderful to work with on all issues. You will pay the dealer prices, but no more than any other dealer, except they are awesome to deal with here. I have used the service many times for oil changes, option additions, and recalls. I was going to Bob Bell and was so disappointed I filed a complaint. I am very happy with Adams!!
