Worst Toyota dealership possible
by Carperson on 05/12/2023Please understand this dealership are just [non-permissible content removed] who bait and switch you and charge insane market adjustments. Make sure to avoid this dealership at all costs as this place lacks integrity and honesty and is a… joke. They deserve a negative rating. Easily the worst toyota dealership ever from the different ones I visited. The salesman Raj and finance person VJ are [non-permissible content removed]. Toyota Motor Corporation should investigate this shady dealership as Toyota is a great brand of car and this pathetic dealership is tainting the Toyota name. They also deserve their pathetic better business bureau rating.MY DARCARS IS WINNING
by Tanya_Canady86 on 10/08/2015My Sales Rep Chris I believe that was his name, made my situation happen. I thought I was going to be turned away due to my credit. Thank You to Darcars Toyota of Baltimore FamilyWorst experience of my life
by khan696 on 03/05/2015I had a very bad experience at the dealership.I walked in the dealership and was asking about the Toyota corolla, I told the I am new to the country and is not knowing about the process, then they took the advantage and make $27428 the… price of a Toyota. They usually add $1995 for dealer installed parts, when I asked Davin jones about the parts, he told me you can not understand, they added $2000 Toyota extra care contract, and told me that you can cancel it any time and we will refund you in full, but when cancelled it they refunded only $1502 and saved $498. They are so mean, that I went to car wash after one week of buying a Toyota, a manager (waheed or a name similar to it) told me that we are not doing car wash, if you want you can pay to guy $15-20 so he will do it. The manger always told me this is not our car now and do not bring it here, this is the story between you and the bank now. As I know when you finance a car the bank give the a fixed rate to dealer , if the dealer sold the vehicle at a higher interest rates, that extra money goes to dealer. After that car wash experience I never went to service my car from them, I went to Jerrys Toyota on belair road, they are very good, but the question is that why they deducted $498 from cancelling a service contract, why they did not explained it earlier. Why they tell lies when they are not serving people good. They deceive you by telling you any kind of lie. They sold me this car for 72 months in 696 a month, if they make it 60 month a monthly payment may go up above $800 a month. The problem was I was new and they took full advantage of it, why they destroy others life for their money. I was looking at Toyota a great vehicles, but when you face such dealership, when they put a corolla on your social security at $696 a month, what you think of these dealers of Toyota, I think I never go again. When I asked to trade in he asked me for $12000 because this car was not worthy of $27428. I suggest to all my friends that ask about dealer installed parts because the Toyota does not want it in a vehicles sale. And tell them to read the whole contract for you before you sign it for them. Check the principal amount of the vehicle and you are paying them down payment it should go to the principal amount not towards the interest because that interest is for 60 months period not on the first day even when you did not signed the contract, tell him to deduct the down payment from the principal because you did not signed the contract yet, why a person should pay thousands dollar interest when that is not due even. The interest is calculated on daily basis, you can pay one day interest not thousand dollars on first day. I pay them down payment and it never showed on my account. I think when I left the dealership they might have celebrated a party of deceiving me, and they took money from me for nothing. I suggest take a quote from a bank before going to a dealership what I am thinking I should have done.I understand your frustration that we did not provide you with the level of service that you expect and more importantly deserve when doing business with us. Please know that we will use your feedback to improve the overall service that we provide. I would be happy to provide assistance, we are further investigating your case and will get back to you. Exceptional Service
by Tander34 on 02/04/2015I just bought a 2015 Highlander from Darcars and I absolutely love my car! Besides the car, what was also impressive was the fantastic service I received from my sales person Rod Durden. He really went above and beyond my expectations.… Not only working with me to get the best deal possible (and I did my research), but making me feel at ease through the whole process. I never felt pressured to buy or that I was just another customer. Rod really made me feel special! I also thought the finance rep, Kurt Snyder provided exceptional service. He was so knowledgeable and also put me at ease. I would highly recommend Darcars and Rod to all my family and friends.all good by these guys.......

by carbuyer188 on 03/27/2013updated 07/25/2025worst buying experience i've ever had. super high pressure sales and outright lies are standard at this dealership. DO NOT GO HERE. i cannot believe i was dumb enough to buy a car here but they will use every sales trick in the book to… sucker you in. to make matters worse, they didn't file any of my paperwork properly, and so i've had to sort out all sorts of issues with the Motor Vehicle Administration that Darcars refuses to deal with. this was just an all-around horrible experience from every step of the way.High pressure
by Weownaprius on 09/09/2013updated 07/25/2025My wife and I walked into this dealership ready to buy. Upfront, I will admit that we are new to the USA, recently moved from Canada so our credit is not yet established in the USA. However, our issues with the dealership had nothing to do… with the financing process. We test drove a Prius 3. The sales associate knew less about the car then I did and actually asked if I was a secret shopper or an "undercover boss". When I questioned about the functionality of features of the car (solar sun roof), I was given false information. To be fair the associate was new. Apparently he had only been working there for three months. However, he also did not know some basic questions about the cars navigation and HUD computer systems. When it came time to price the vehicle, we were only allowed to see a bottom line price. We should have known there was an issue when the sales manager told us that he would only give us a quote if we agreed to buy today! All of the pricing was done in another room away from us. The sales representative would come back and bring us a quote to "agree on" with no real break down of the costs. We asked several times to see a printout of what options were in the vehicle and not once was this shown to us. Our final quote was over $3000 dollars more than a competitor. My wife and I calculated that the dealer would have made almost 15% from our purchase. My wife and I felt very pressured. We also felt that the dealership was trying to scam us. I have no proof of this but the final quote spoke volumes about how they treat customers. Stay away from this dealership unless you are an expert negotiator or you are very knowledgeable about the car.
