by Lakphoto1 on 04/05/2021Went well. Rather long process but I brought in two cars for trade-in so that added more time to negotiations. We came to an agreement on price that satisfied me. Dealer offers a tutorial for the eyesight and other systems on car two weeks… after purchase. That is a terrific addition to the process and was very helpful.Efficient and unstressful experience
by Hechernan on 07/20/2020We are very pleased with the purchase of the Crosstrek at the dealership. The salesperson was amiable and respectful. There were no hidden offers or incentives that were discussed during the purchase session. We had already looked up… what we wanted in this particular car. We communicated with the salesperson via email and took it from there. I found the experience to be better than expected. This is the second car we have bought from the Subaru dealer and the same salesperson we bought from before was the person we chose to work with.purchased used 2006 acura rl feb 2018
by mentraman on 03/20/2018The car was in great shape with less than 60,000 miles. Took it for a test drive salesperson was very nice, explaining all the tech devices. The next day decided I wanted the car, when I came to pick it up was told new brakes were added. I… love this placeAwesome experience!

by CheatedVet on 06/09/2016My rating is Zero Stars. Here is a short summary: 1. bought a 2015 Subaru 2. did paperwork 3. Go to get car, salesperson Ethan gives me ONE key 4. I ask about the other, he says they will look for it 5. few days later they tell me I… have to pay 300 for a new key Dishonest, horrible service is what I experienced. I called the owner Rob Paddor who told me they can't provide me a key cause "there was no meat on the bone" with the deal they gave me. Note: they took my car in on trade for 4500 and listed it the next day for 8991.... Buyer Beware.... this is not some place you want to shopincredibly rude sales staff
by jcmchi on 08/31/2010This company is truly rude, aggressive, and just plain mean to their customers. We went in at first, had a nice conversation with salesman, then when we came back to do business, the "closer" (mean guy) came over. We had a written price… quote from another dealership, but he wouldn't budge, reminding us "we've come down $1000 from sticker" (like ANYONE pays sticker price in the world!). He was then rude to us, in countless ways, as well as being really snippy that our kid was with us (he's 4, enjoyed sitting in teh cars but we kept a good eye on him so he didn't get shoes on seats or hands on windows!) FINALLY, he said (arrogantly), "If you can get that price, bring me the car and the receipt and i'll give you $100 cash." We did (at Grand Subaru in bensenville!), and we did, and then he hemmed and hawed and said that's not what he meant, he'd meant for "bottom line" (plus taxes and so on, which hadn't been part of either his quote or the other one, etc., and found ways not to give us the money he'd promised. These are the MOST typical, low-brow, tough-sell, sleazy, stereotypical car dealers we've ever seen. GO ELSEWHERE, Mid-CIty or even Grand in Bensenville is worth it and much nicer.Unprofessional, arrogant
by bzee on 01/09/2009Asked for price quote via email and receive quick response and pretty ok quote but not the best quote compare to compeitiors. When I asked them to price match a competitor quote, salesman turned unprofessional & childish. They gave me the… impression that they are doing me a favor selling me a car at the price they quote me. Avoid this dealership.Avoid this dealership
by rbe on 06/06/2011updated 07/25/2025Subaru evanston is absolutely horrible. Avoid this place. Three sales people we talked to gave us three different quotes on the vehicle. They told me by email that the vehicle we are looking for is available and then when we went there told… us that the vehicle was just sold. Thr price is at least 1000 bucks more than other dealers within 30 mile radius. Avoid avoid at all costs. The son of the owner should not be a sales person. He turned red and defensive when we tried to tell him that the price he was quoting was higher than other dealers. super arrogant and annoying. He did not want us to get into the car. He talked to us like he was doing us a favor. so did his dad. People who buy their vehicle from this dealership must like being talked down to..Very accomodating, great service

Each time they were friendly, accommodating and fun to work with. We got bids from four other dealerships, called with the lowest, and… they matched it. We went in, signed the paperwork, got our car and left. They were respectful of our time and made it very easy. Low stress, low pressure. Great experience. I heard the same thing from neighbors whom I asked about their Subarus.Outstanding
by amyskal on 03/21/2011updated 07/25/2025I recently purchased my 2nd car from this dealership (bought the first in 2002 when they were still in Evanston). Both times, the sales staff were helpful, efficient, and fair. I felt like they respected my time, didn't push me to buy right… away, were quick in arranging a test drive and getting information I needed. They were very open about their pricing and honored a lower quote from another dealership. I never felt pushed to upgrade to a better model or pay for extra things I didn't need. They paid attention to what I said I wanted and worked with me so I could get it at a price I thought was fair. It was the most straightforward car purchasing experience I have ever had - I'd recommend this dealership to anyone.
About our dealership
This customer is acting like a child, posting a dishonest review because he couldn't get what he wanted. Post delivery, after a final sale, this customer demanded an extra key, even though we had only one. He abused the sales consultant, Ethan, with profanity. He told me he wanted to bring back the car, which I told was fine, but he was a no show. This is what review sites call terrorism, terrorizing a business with dishonest statements. We are a A+ rated business with the BBB and a 4 time winner of the prestigious Stellar Care Award.
