I have been coming here for service and getting a new car from this place for years . The very well go above and beyond exceptional service and listening to what you want . I meet Manny D about maybe 13 years ago he put me in my first brand… new car on my birthday despite me going to other car dealerships and being turned down I had not so good credit but not bad . They worked it out for me and I was so comfortable made me feel like family without giving me bullcrap . This place is more about making sure you get what you want not giving you the runaround and just trying to make a sale . Here I am 8 years later calling Manny D again I was in a very bad deal with a lease and didn’t know where else to turn I was devastated not knowing what to do my lease ended and certain coverage on my vehicle was gone . I called the dealership I got the lease from and they gave me some crazy numbers that just didn’t make sense mind you i got the vehicle during COVID at that time I had no choice but to get the car from another dealership which is autonation ohare not very customer service friendly etc etc . To sum up a long story went to talk to Manny D and turned around in less than 45 minutes I walked out with a new 2025 vehicle . I say to anyone in the market looking go to a Patrick Hyundai the motto is the Patrick Promise which is absolutely correct . Thank you Manny as well as your Finance Manager you guys are everything. Thank you so much

by philp1313 on 11/30/2010We went to buy a used car but left in a new 2010 Elantra. Our salesman, John Butenschoen, was very helpful and worked with us to get a payment plan that fit our budget. We love the new car almost as much as our 2009 Sonata.Terrible, arrogant. Do NOT come to this place.
by awelker on 11/04/2010If you want to buy a Hyundai or any other car, do NOT come to Patrick Hyundai. I was given an Internet price and after talking to the manager over the phone, I went in to see the car and hopefully buy it. It turned out the price given to me… "was the stock number for the vehicle". The finance manager was screaming from behind his counter. Do not go to this place, ever. Arrogant, rude, terrible - nothing short than a nightmare.Stay away from Patrick Hyundai!
by 1sonatalimited on 10/25/2009I love my Sonata and this NOT a complaint about the product - but the Sales & Finance department of Patrick Hyundai. I can't say enough GREAT things about the service department there, Randy & Gus are the best! I was happy with my… original purchase with them in May 2007, and recently went back to view options on a newer Sonata. I even recommended my mother purchase her next vehicle there. Unfortunatly the sales department had wasted more that 6 hours of her time only to get her into the finance office to sign for the car (the $300 payment she was looking for) to see that the documents printed had included the extended warrantee for an additional $100 a month AND A RATE OF 9.99%!! When my mother expressed her frustration Marty Kroll (Finance Manager) did not have the decency to respond to her & WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM! Apparently it was more important to lock up at closing time and he was not going to honor the deal, let alone apologize for being the typical Sales [violative content deleted], then left my Mom waiting outside for a ride home. I should have followed my instict to never return there myself after that, although I thought being an existing customer, and the current state of the economy I had an opportunity to get a deal. After Dontrell & Nick ran my credit to confirm my 745 score, they came back with an awful rate of 7.5% and an offer of about 1/2 the blue book value of my trade in - so I walked...ran actually. (I will never again in my life let any dealer run my credit without running the numbers, payment/"worksheet" first!) I am happy to say I found a great deal & AMAZING sales team at [another dealership], Downers Grove - although I was shocked to see (while seigning with [another dealership]) that Patrick Hyundai had run my credit with SEVEN banks that day! Thanks for decreasing my credit score 30 points Patrick Hyundai!DON'T GO HERE

The service manager was really mad when I asked him to break down the charges for the service for me (because the price seemed WAY out of line). He actually told me "That's the way they… are...deal with it." Absolute [violative content deleted]. He was also an hour off on how long the service would take. Which wouldn't be that much, except he told me 2 hours, and it took 3...and there were 2 other cars in the shop at that point. Unless they change service managers, I will NEVER go there again. It was so bad that I wouldn't even go there to buy a new car because I don't want to give them any business.Our Easiest Purchase yet!
by jenagain on 09/11/2007We have been researching cars on Edmunds for a long time and can’t stand going to car dealerships. Since our friend bought his Sonata Limited at Patrick Hyundai, we went online and got approved for 0% financing on Patrick Hyundai’s website… and picked out the gold Sonata GLS with power seat. The thing we liked best about buying the car thru the internet was when we picked out our car, we got a price better than the Edmunds TMV without having to go back and forth! We have owned both Toyota and Honda vehicles over the years, but tried the Sonata this time since our friend had one and he likes to run cars till the wheels fall off. When we told him we were thinking about a new car, he let us try his Sonata Limited. We were surprised… it was better than what we expected from a Hyundai. The Sonata had Side curtain airbags, Stability control, XM radio, roadside assistance and a 10 year warranty- ALL STANDARD! We never had satellite radio in a car before, and the XM radio is outstanding. If you try it, you’ll rethink paying more for a Toyota and Honda with far less features. For us, the Sonata GLS had everything we wanted, except in-dash Navigation from the factory.First Maintenance on Sonata

by nikkisleigh on 08/30/2007I was looking for an SUV to replace our aging 4x4 Chevy Blazer and tried the usual suspects (CR--V, Rav4, Escape, VUE, Equinox), but ultimately the Hyundai Santa Fe SE was the best bang for the buck with the smooth V6 and better warranty.… I emailed Patrick Hyundai and they called me back to set an appointment to have my Blazer appraised. They let me test both the Santa Fe GLS and SE back to back while they appraised the Blazer, and showed me payments for both. The choice was simple- I decided on the SE 2WD in Slate Blue, and everybody that has been in it so far loves it- stylish, plenty of room and very comfortable. Now that I'm saving on gas compared to the Blazer, I'll have to save up for the Veracruz Limited (wasn't available at the time). What I really appreciated about my purchase was the way they gave me a great price upfront, let me decide which one was best for me without pressure, and didn't play games with my trade. It's nice knowing you can go to a luxury car chain and buy a Hyundai, but still be treated right. Our other car is a Volvo, and we look forward to trading it in when it comes time. I recommend him, especially if your first language is Korean. He was very personable, honest, and answered all of our questions very… thoroughly. He was very understanding and patient with our million questions. Even after we bought the car, Mr. K. was kind enough to follow up on us and offer to be available to answer any more questions in the future. I feel very reassured my family and I made the right decision in buying from this dealership because of him. My family and I walked out very pleased with our brand new Hyundai Elantra. We went to another Hyundai dealer much closer to where we live and in the final price negotiations walked out after upping our price twice and leaving with a $20… per month difference. by uiuchsu on 04/18/2011updated 08/03/2025Just let you know. Zach is the internet guy and tried all kinds of tricks to lure me to go there. He promised there is a car and price will be lowest. It took me two and a half hour to drive over there and Dave (actual sales person) asked… me to run a credit check. And he was trying to sell me a 5,900 miles "NEW" car!!! Also, when I was there, the sales persons are not very welcome. I went to other dealerships and they treated me very well. It is a waste of my time and gas to go to Patrick Hyundai. I would not recommend anyone to go to there. Please stay away from this dealership! Finally I purchased my vehicle from Grossinger Hyundai. I was there for less than 3 hours and sales person there are very friendly and all the process is very smooth!Hyundai Sonata 2013

Most, I ran out of because of the demeanor and obvious lies I was told about cars I found online. Patrick Hyundai was different. They honored the price I found online,… they were very courteous and helpful. by scream2 on 09/06/2013updated 08/03/2025went to patrick hyundai because it is a big dealership and got great reviews but after my own personal experience they are real nice to you when you come in the door but after they get your money its like see you later . all the great… reviews about the dealership came from new cars sales cause of course they will be real nice to you after you spent big b.ucks we on the other hands were just a lowly used car sales. the worst part of it is that we cane into buy a used car.the saleman showed us several none of which i liked so the salesman seemed annoyed. he said i will look around for some other cars and call you, which he never did, well later found a couple of cars i liked.I called the dealership about it. they asked me what time i would be there. i was greeted by a salesman who was very polite and said they will bring the car around. we took it out for a test drive, and i checked the car out. it seemed nicely kept so we decided to purchase it. well it was a lengthy process, then it was getting late so the loan officer who didnt really explain much then rips me off by selling me a gap insurance policy. well none the less we said we would pick up the car in a few days. well the salesman said call me before you come. well we picked up the car on saturday, then the next day the car wouldnt start, so monday i call the salesman and he says bring it back. i left it with the service dept. they checked out the car and says we checked the battery, starter and alternator and found nothing wrong and told us to get the car. well the next day the car did the same thing. well it did the same think except now they wont do nothing and even when i tried to talk to a manager i never got a return call. i made several requests for a return call and nothing. the worst part is that they knew the car had a major problem starting which is why they made sure i called before coming so they would have it running.so we wouldnt know that it had a problem starting. it is an expensive repair, they knew but they deceived us by covering up its problem and when we discovered it they did whatever they could to ignore and avoid us. the worst part is that i bought this car for my disabled sister to go to the doctors but cant because its not reliable. nor does she have that kind of money to repair it because she is on disability. they deceived us by hidding the problem and now wont do nothing to help. so if you buy a new car they will act all nice but if you buy a used car then forget it [non-permissible content removed].Completely Satisfied
