onI have been coming here for service and getting a new car from this place for years . The very well go above and beyond exceptional service and listening to what you want . I meet Manny D about maybe 13 years ago he put me in my first brand new car on my birthday despite me going to other car dealerships and being turned down I had not so good credit but not bad . They worked it out for me and I was so comfortable made me feel like family without giving me bullcrap . This place is more about making sure you get what you want not giving you the runaround and just trying to make a sale . Here I am 8 years later calling Manny D again I was in a very bad deal with a lease and didn’t know where else to turn I was devastated not knowing what to do my lease ended and certain coverage on my vehicle was gone . I called the dealership I got the lease from and they gave me some crazy numbers that just didn’t make sense mind you i got the vehicle during COVID at that time I had no choice but to get the car from another dealership which is autonation ohare not very customer service friendly etc etc . To sum up a long story went to talk to Manny D and turned around in less than 45 minutes I walked out with a new 2025 vehicle . I say to anyone in the market looking go to a Patrick Hyundai the motto is the Patrick Promise which is absolutely correct . Thank you Manny as well as your Finance Manager you guys are everything. Thank you so much

onWe just purchased our second vehicle from Patrick Hyundai and we were again very happy with the entire experience. Maz Shunnarah was great in listening to what we were trying to do and helping us get to where we needed to be on a deal. Adding on the outstanding service we've had so far on our first we our regular maintenance, we have been very very pleased.

Awful Service

onOn July 13th of this year (2016), I came in to get an oil change and to also have my brakes looked at as my car was making a high pitched squealing noise that I was pretty sure was the brakes going bad. I was fairly certain that they'd need to be replaced, and I was prepared to do so at that time. As most of the other times I've come in, Ivan was assisting me in my service and said he'd take a look into the situation as I specifically told him about the issue I was having, and asked if they could take a look. He assured me this was no issue, and that he'd do just that. After about 35 minutes in the waiting room, to my surprise, Ivan came and told me my brakes were just fine, and that the squealing I was hearing was due to possibly a small pebble or rock being lodged in between my brake pad and rotor which is fairly common he said. He told me that they could take the brakes completely apart and clean it if I wanted, but that my pads and rotors were in good condition and no service was needed. I'd never heard of such a thing happening before, and it sounded completely off the wall, but seeing as I'm not a mechanic, I trusted him and went on my way. Yesterday, November 21st, I came in for service again for an oil change. The service invoice says I dealt with someone named Nader, who informed me that my brakes were bad and needed replacing. This came as a bit of a shock to me considering just a few months prior, I was told I had 6mm on my pads, and now I'm down to 2mm, and in one rotor, next to nothing. He said one of my rear pads is "stuck." I asked him how this is possible to have next to nothing left on my pads when just a few months ago my brakes were perfectly fine. He said that unless you asked a technician to look at your brakes, they wont. I told him I did, that that's the reason I had come in last time. He asked me who I spoke to, at the time I couldn't recall because that was nearly 4 months ago. He stated that it sounded like Sam, or possible Saul, that I had spoken with, and that "he doesn't do his job." I was floored by this comment as you should NEVER tell a customer that your people aren't doing what the customers ask of them, or place blame on on other employees. It just looks bad. I didn't respond to that comment as I wanted to hear what my tech had to tell me. He said that I needed new pads, and possibly rotors all the way around, and he even joked that this was about the time most customers trade in their vehicles when they're faced with costly repairs. I told him I'd think on it and decide what to do. Let me start off by saying that I'm shocked that one tech would tell a customer that another tech wasn't doing their job. I'm also thinking that I wasn't told about the real issue with my pads months ago in order to have the problem escalate further, and the repair be more costly as my rotors are probably now no good. Maybe it's because I'm a young woman who comes in by myself all the time, and someone just assumed I wouldn't push back on this? As a customer, I trusted this dealership in good faith to take care of my vehicle, especially if it were becoming unsafe to drive, to tell me what needed to be done. Especially when I specifically inquire about an issue. Since I keep ALL of my service records, I pulled out my service record from my last visit which clearly states that "front and rear brakes at 6MM and 5MM still have plenty of padding." Considering my brakes were BRAND NEW a year ago (had all new pads and rotors replaced in November of 2015), this is unbelievable. I gave Patrick Hyundai the chance to rectify the situation by offering some type of discount in service as they failed to do anything in my first visit, but they refused. I even supplied my documentation of both service records. I will NEVER buy a Hyundai again.

onThe folks at Patrick really listen to their customers. Every time I need a new lease or to buy a new Hyundai, this dealership makes it comfortable, friendly, and they work to find solutions to my needs. Marek was a pleasure to deal with. He provided plenty of different options (purchase and lease), he went over all the features, and most of all he respected my time. Amelia was wonderful as well. She followed up on every communication and made sure I has all my questions answered and my needs met. The price is always right at patrick! We have a lease up in April and will be right back in into Patrick to get our family car. Our third from them. Thank you

onI've bought both my cars, new at Patrick. Worked with Anthony in 2012 to purchase my Sonata. He was just too good at what he does he was promoted so we worked with the best of the best, Manny. He wasn't pushy, knew exactly what we wanted and worked with us perfectly. Walked out with a brand new Santa Fe and LOVE IT! The Patrick team is beyond exceptional. We love Anthony and Manny! Thanks team!

onThe people from Patrick Hyundai in Schaumburg are [non-permissible content removed]. I had problems since day one I had to have service done on my car. I went for an oil change and when they checked my tire pressure, they never put back the original valve caps. I noticed that few days later and gave them a call to let them know. We agreed that they would put new valve caps on my next visit for oil change. Next time when I went for service, they put new caps but they didn't put the original plastic once. They put metal once, the so called "after market tire caps". As the cold months approached, the tire pressure went down a bit and the indication on the dashboard went on. Meanwhile, my oil was due for another change and I went to the dealer thinking that they would check my tire pressure and put some air in them. At the moment I had no idea that the metal valve caps were already seized and unable to be unscrewed. When they did the oil change, they never checked my tire pressure and completely IGNORED the indication on the dashboard. On the paperwork they gave me when I paid the bill, it was written that the tire pressure in all four tires was set to factory specification of 30, which is incorrect. On top of everything, when I picked the car, the old oil change sticker, that usually should be removed from the windshield and thrown in the garbage, was laying down on the floor mat. I interpreted this as "we can use your car as a garbage can". Anyway, on the next day I finally decided to put some pressure in the tires realizing they would never do it. That was when I realized why they didn't want to do it. Of course, I couldn't undo the valve caps. I gave them a call and they LIED to me that they never put the "after market" valve caps and it wasn't their fault. Instead, they put the blame on me, telling me that I put the "after market" caps. By knowingly ignoring the problem and not admitting their guilt, they put me, my wife and my three month old daughter under a serious risk. This is the horrible experience I had with Patrick Hyundai in Schaumburg. I wonder if and why anybody would trust people who lied to you in numerous occasions and a dealership which service department is not capable to do a simple tire pressure check.

onI have been coming to Patrick for service for the past 3 years since moving back to the area in 2012. My 2002 Hyundai Elantra GT with over 207,000 miles served me extremely well. It was time for a new vehicle. My sales rep Alex Baszaral was outstanding - did a great job exploring all options for me and working with his team to get me into a new 2015 Elantra SE. The deal was great, obtained a great rate and the car - well after 13 years with a Hyundai - I am looking forward to owing this new one for many years, as well. onMy fiancé and I did some hard core research online before coming to a conclusion that we wanted a Hyundai Elantra. We stopped by the dealership to see the vehicle in person and immediately feel in love with the car. Kashif was such a nice, pleseant, and honest gentleman to work with. onMy husband and I are expecting out first child and wanted to buy a brand new, safe car and we decided that we wanted a Hyundai Elantra. We went to Patrick Hyundai and were immediately greeted by Russel. We told him we wanted simple and didn't need anything crazy in the car. We walked around the lot and he NEVER once tried to push us to get a car with all the fancy bells and whistles. He did show us 1 car that had all the fancy fun stuff but didn't try and sell it to us. He just wanted us to see the different models. He then showed us the PERFECT car that had exactly what we needed (a few thousand less than the fancier package) and thought it would be perfect for us. So we test drove it, and well, it was perfect! He was so kind and gentle and really seemed to know what we were talking about and sincerely had our best interest in mind. Julie in financing was amazing and very informative as well. I am so pleasantly surprised at how smooth and easy this whole process was. Thanks to Patrick Hyundai's employees, Russel and Julie we are proud owners of our 2015 Hyundai Elantra.

onI do not know if a better experience could have been realized. I wanted a specific car being my first brand new car and my sales associate Ted not only found it but made me a no haggle offer. Really - before I could even haggle the deal got sweeter and sweeter and once the car was delivered and I went to sign, they found me a better rate than the quote I agreed to. The car was clean - he took time to show me features and should great patience as this was a week and a half car deal from my inquiry to delivery. No pressure to buy additional features as well. I will go back without hesitation.

onLet me start by saying how great the salesman, Dave D., was. With that being said, he is no longer with the dealership. Once I got done with him, it was all downhill. I was then led to a room to discuss any add-ons or accessories I may want with Anthony C. I was interested in floor mats and an automatic start. He said if I got a paint protection treatment they offered, he would throw in a free auto start worth $700 (The same exact model was on Amazon for around $150). After quickly researching reviews on the treatment, I decided against it. He then tried to overcharge me for some weathertech floor liners until I told him I could get them cheaper through the manufacturer's website. He eventually matched the price on floor liners that were marked for a 2011-2013 Hyundai Elantra, when mine was a 2014. I was told that they have the same measurements. I didn't receive the liners until the next day, as their parts dept. was closed at this point. Well, they didn't fit. In fact, weathertech doesn't even have an option on their website for my exact vehicle yet. That didn't stop Mark A. from acting like I was crazy when I came to return them, since he had sold so many to other people with the same vehicle, as he claimed. I guess he thinks he knows more than the manufacturer. Trying to return them was another headache. I waited for an hour and was treated like a pest. After all, they had already made the sale on the new vehicle. I was told that I would be mailed a check for the refund, since it was bought with the financing of the car. It has now been 3 weeks and I still have not received my refund. I forgot to mention the numerous times I was offered the dealer's extended warranty and had to turn it down. That didn't stop the finance guy from trying to weasel it into the contract. Luckily, I read things before I sign them. I honestly feel like they were upset that I didn't purchase all of their upgrades and warranty. Once the car purchase was finalized, the customer service went out the door. I guess they don't care about developing life-long customers or referrals. Maybe they thought the coupon book they gave me would keep me coming back for all my future service. Well, I would rather go out of my way and pay more money than to give Patrick Hyundai another cent of my money. To wrap it up, if you don't mind being taken advantage of, then, by all means, go to Patrick Hyundai. You may even have a pleasant experience if you let them get over on you. But if you're an informed consumer who knows what they want, please steer clear of this dealership.

A dealership full of Ghost cars that don't exist !!! BEWARE FRIENDS

onTheir Website shows many demonstration models with very low mile 2013 -14 models Shows them in stock and when you call and check they say yes car is available. Called and talked to internet sales to even confirm 3 cars were in stock at lot,just wanted to make sure was over 2 hour drive to dealership and was told yes. Low and behold get there and oh so sorry they are all sold but we have some 2011's for the same price with 40,000 + miles. Classic bait and switch on the buyer. What a shame so stressful buying a car in the first place then to have to deal with crooked dealerships with nothing better to do but waste customers time.
