    I could not be more positive about the service I received in the purchase of my new Subaru. I was looking for a specific model with specific features. I was called directly from the dealership within minutes of my inquiry through Cars.com. Upon arrival at the dealership I was warmly greeted, given a test drive, and given detailed information about the vehicle. I received a fair trade in and drove away a very happy customer. First rate service from the manager, my salesperson and the whole team. Thanks for a great experience!

    So here are my suggestions for you. Please take great care when dealing with this dealership, especially if you are buying a used car. Insist on having every promise they make put in writing. Watch out for their, "Chicago Style" add ons to the deal like the $1800 they were going to add for the interior and exterior treatment I didn't want. To this day, I have never in my life once made a complaint about any of the dealerships in central Illinois I have had the honor to deal with, and that list is extensive. Bloomington Normal Auto Mall is an exception. In conclusion, be wary of what their salesman tells you, take notes, bring along a witness to the deal, DON"T ALLOW THEM TO RUSH YOU, if finalizing a deal, insist everything be put in writing, do not rely on their word, watch out for add on, paint and upholstery treatments, if they promise to fix something or replace something insist they fill out a "WE OWE FORM," and expect nothing but silence from them if you have any concerns or complaints after the sale. Finally I must say this. Car dealerships along with all businesses that truly believe in customer service and longevity, in creating positive, long lasting relationships with their customers, try to strive for honestly in all they do. It is much more than lip service. Straying away from this way of doing business, will eventually catch up with them as word gets out about their less than honorable approach to selling cars, as those like myself who feel they were deceived, won't return to buy again. Had they kept their promises, returned my calls and concerns, I would not have felt the need to look after others by writing this review. This dealership gave up their honor for the price of a tail light replacement that was promised. Please approach with caution, or even better, go elsewhere for your next car, even if it means driving out of town. You can do better. I know I can and will. And now comes their shallow and condescending response. See below.

  • Error after error by the dealership

    I have purchased many cars from multiple dealerships. Never had such an error-filled experience! The odometer reading posted on the window was way off what was shown on the Car Fax report. They only had one key. Rather than immediately ordering it when the accepted the car as a trade-in, they did it only after I purchased the vehicle (which was less than 1 year old). I had to spend 90-minutes of my time a couple weeks later in Service while the key was programmed. And worst of all they messed up the payoff of my lease. It took 6 weeks and multiple calls to the dealership and Subaru national to get that resolved. It took hours on my end just to get reimbursed.

    I have purchased 2 new Subaru's from this dealership and had a great experience!! Love my Legacy!!!! They gave me a great price for my trade in and then offered the Legacy at a great price! They have worked with me both times and very friendly staff and professional. Recommend this dealership to all!

    I have purchased a 2019 Subaru Outback and am very happy with the sales service I received at this location in Normal, IL. The sales consultants who helped me were Nic and Mike, and I felt comfortable and very happy with how they approached me at all times during the sale, and afterwards. This dealership is under new management, which brought with it a new management system whereby salespeople are more motivated to find the car you want at the terms that work for you. I did my homework, obtained financing through the dealership, and used my calculator actively to ensure that my payment plan matched my expectations. The General Manager Jeff M. was an outstanding professional who explained everything clearly to me when it came time for me to make a final decision about the purchase. I am extremely happy with my new car and with the dealership.
