    I have a few Jeep dealerships in my vicinity but I prefer to drive 40 minutes out of my way to Wickstom due to the awesome service I receive, not only from Jamie Weinberg in sales but also from Bryan Sproston in the service department, and Chris M. and David D. in finance. I've purchased 3 jeeps and 1 Grand Cherokee from Jamie and although I've had a few issues with my Jeep, they always come through for me when it comes to servicing and fixing any issues. I highly recommend Wickstrom from sales, to finance & warranties and let's not forget service...nice job guys!

  • Poor service

    We purchased a Ford Explorer from a different dealer about 18m ago. It was a factory reconditioned vehicle which we were assured had completely resolved the issue. Wickstrom were the nearest dealer to us and when we identified an issue with the paint we were initially pleased with the support provided. Since then, this vehicle seems to have had perpetual small quality issues (seat cover not fitted correctly, window switch covers had the silver coating peel off and other similar type issues). However, although I have had the vehicle serviced only at Wickstrom since then, I have subsequently found that one of the gas bonnet struts had a fitting broken (presumably by them as it was not broken when the car was purchased and they have been the only service centre to open the bonnet). The wing mirror has also lost its settings and has to be reset every time we get into the vehicle. More importantly, the rear camera has an intermittent fault that has affected the whole series of this vehicle and the manufacturer has taken 18m to acknowledge and now find a solution that is a recall for all similar models. I took the car into Wickstrom about a month ago and Mark booked a service call but did not provide any clarification on what they proposed to do or cost. As such, my wife took our car into the dealership today and was treated like an idiot as well as charged $189 for a diagnostic checkup for a known problem that has been a problem well before our warranty period passed. I wish to warn other owners that if you happen to purchase a dud vehicle, then Wickstrom will use the opportunity to charge you at every opportunity and let you know after they do the work rather than give you the option. Rather unsurprisingly, the wing mirror issue is now worse since they ran their diagnostics than before they did (it now happens with all the seat positions rather than just the one that was previously affected!) I for one will never use them again!!

    I'm not a fan of taking a car into service but pulling into Wickstrom, everything about it is awesome. The advisors are great. It's clean and the facilities are great to sit and wait. I've never been to another service department that made me feel as good as this one.

  • Terrible! New car, Too many problems. No inspection done!

    I will NEVER buy another vehicle from this dealership again!!!! It was recommended that I see a specific salesman by a friends who has purchased a vehicle from him in the past. I went in and everything was great. He was very helpful, the test drive went great and then it went downhill from there. As soon as we started talking price, he became very aggressive and down right rude. When I told him the price I was able to afford for the car, he flung the paper around at me and said "then what options do you want to take off" when some of the options that he added were not options I was even looking for!!! With regret, I purchased a NEW vehicle. Since then, the turn signal module has had to be replaced. The windshield had a leak causing the car chassis to fill with water. While driving, I turned the corner and water came pouring onto my feet, so they also had to replace the carpet. On top of that, they do not offer loner vehicles. So they drove me to Enterprise to RENT A CAR! I sat for about 20 minutes at Enterprise until they discovered they didn't have a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram car on hand and in order for the Dealership to cover the cost of the rental, it had to be one of those cars. So I waited another 5 - 10 minutes for someone from Enterprise to drive me BACK to dealership where they gave me a rental car WITH NO GAS!! I had to put gas in it in order to drive it back home. Sometimes when driving my jeep, it seems to skip gears. They said they scanned the car and claimed nothing is wrong. I for sure will be getting a second opinion on that one! Oh did, I mention a blower motor on the dashboard was also replaced. You would think that when buying a BRAND NEW $40,000 car, that there shouldn't be any of these issues!!!! And here was the final punch in the face from the dealership. I brought my jeep in with one of the tires in the back because I had run over a razor blade. One of the service guys had come over to the car. I opened the back, he looked at it, and without even inspecting the tire, told me I needed a new tire. I asked him for a price on a new tire BEFORE we did anything. Before I knew it, my car had been pulled into the shop, they took off the spare tire and started putting on a new tire, when I never agreed to it. The new tire would have been $300. I asked him if they inspected the tire from the inside. He walked away and came back with the piece of razor blade and dropped it on the counter and said "there was really no need, it was in the tire up to here (as he pointed to the blade)" I asked him to put my spare back on and I took it somewhere else, where they inspected the tire. The funny thing is, the place I took it to even had a hard time locating the pierce in the tire. $25 bucks later, my tire was fixed. I am in shock that this dealership would try and take advantage of anyone. Just because I am a woman doesnt make me an idiot!!!! I STRONGLY suggest that if you are interested in a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram to go to a different dealership! Or choose another brand of car!
