Advertised price is wrong.
by smith on 02/18/2025Called about a car that’s 6k, turns out there is a MANDATORY 2.3k fee that is not listed anywhere on the website. when asked about it, the lady was very rude, saying it is CLEARLY listed. Nowhere on the car page is it listed. Definitely not… good business practice to make a car protection package mandatory, the package includes door protection, handle protection, anti theft, etc. Your insurance covers theft. The other protections should be the new owners decision. I am absolutely appalled.Advertised Price On Used Vehicles Not Actual Price
by CL947 on 01/18/2025Please beware that the prices advertised online by Rosen Hyundai of Algonquin are not the actual prices they are charging for the vehicles. If you look at the detail there is something called a “Rosen Package”. It is a mandatory charge on… all used vehicles. So when you look at a vehicle that is $6,000 it is really thousands more. I suspect the reason Rosen does this is to get your contact information or get you into the door. I think it is really a shameful and deceptive business practice.Doesn't honor Edmunds Price Promise - Possible Bait
by papillon13 on 10/02/2016I received a good price quote for not one but three 2016 Hyundai Tucson Limited's from Edmunds Price Promise and considering they have more than 20 of them in October 2016 did not think it would not be honored and drive the 40 miles to… close the deal. They claimed it was a mistake and that they did not know where the price was coming from, that it did not have the destination charge even though the paperwork clearly said with a * that it did include the destination charge. The salesman was trying to help us but the managers were kind of making it clear that they did not want our business and they did not care about Edmunds or any other internet lead. The only thing good about the experience was that they gave a fair appraisal for my Veloster Turbo, hence the two stars. Other than that beware their Edmunds Price Promise (not). It is a possible bait to lure to their out of nowhere dealer.Great Experience
