    I had an appointment for a oil change, I waited for 2.5 hours for a oil change. The email that I received said that I had declined a filter that was needed. I was never asked about the filter. I was in the waiting room, no one came to ask me. Apparently they have a new scheduling system, it doesn’t work.

    Gm doesn't stand behind the warranty. You have to jump through hoops to get your vehicle fixed. My certified pre-owned vehicle broke down after my first oil change. I called the dealership and was told to call the warranty company even though it still had a factory warranty. The first transmission was installed incorrectly so my vehicle had to set in the shop another week to be diagnosed again.

    Jose was very efficient and extremely courteous. The time they said it would take was accurate and the waiting area was very clean and comfortable. I was able to get work done while waiting.

    I own several Cadillac’s and have taken them for service at the Cadillac dealership in Gainesville, GA, not very satisfied so I’ve heard good things about John Megel Chevy in Dawsonville, GA so I’ve used the service department several times and have always had outstanding customer service from my service writer, Cole, and the dealership. They have a new customer for life. To me the service department can make or break a dealership.

    John Megel has some of the best people working there. Everyone from the receptionist to the sales guys were friendly and welcoming. I didn't feel pressured at all and knew that I was getting EXACTLY what I wanted for the best price.

    My husband and I just stopped in looking at a 2018 Tahoe (fully loaded) and were approached by a sales rep who was more concerned about getting off early to watch the Georgia game then assisting us. We arrived ready to make a purchase but will take our services elsewhere.

    I worked with Lance Primm, Sales Consultant, and Jessie Koehler, Financial Director, and was exceptionally pleased during the interaction with both. These gentlemen were extremely understanding, helpful, and persist in bringing about a "win-win" solution during my purchasing experience. Words cannot express what a relief this was for me, but I will try. It has been some time since I have gone through the new car buying scenario and was prepared for the "old paradigm" experience of the "haggling" and the back and forth of negotiating. I was very pleased not to have to experience that at all. I expressed, very clearly to Lance, what my situation was and what I was willing to accept as an experience and a solution. Both Lance, and Jessie exceeded my expectations in the most professional and efficient manner possible. Without any reserve whatsoever I would strongly recommend to any and everyone I know, interested in purchasing a automobile, to give John Megel Chevolet, and these two gentlemen a chance to provide the same experience for them.   • My First Service for my 2014 Silverado

    I brought in my 2014 Chevy Silverado. The Parking Assist was displaying a "Service" error. Rear Camera was giving a "No Symbols Available" error. There was a recall on the rear brake cable bolt, and it was ready for its normal oil change and tire rotation. I was setup with a loaner car which was a great help since they had the truck for 6 days. Sharon was a great help. She contacted me on a daily basis to give me updates on the service, and what was being done to correct the issues and when the truck was ready for pickup. When I picked the truck up, all issues had been resolved and I was satisfied.

    I really liked the service. Sharon Corti was my service advisor. She was a sweetheart:) She was professional yet made me feel comfortable. I also want to compliment a guy that was handling a problem with an older lady. I do not know his name but he is handsome, bald, and lean. He was wearing a green shirt. He did an excellent job in communicating with that lady because she was not nice at all. I would recommend anyone to John Megel Cheverolet service department! Yall are superb!!! :) :) :)

    Bought a 2015 Traverse and it is awesome. What a staff. My rep was Brian Davenport and he did a great job. Made us enjoy the whole experience. We have bought 11 cars in the last 20 years and this was by far the best experience we have every had. We were going to buy a Tahoe but after seeing the bottom line on our paying we just were not going to extent ourselves so we told them we were going to leave for lunch and then make a decision. During that time we were thinking of going to the ford dealership but because the way Brian treated us, we decided to return and see what vehicle was a step below the Tahoe. That is when Brian showed us the Traverse. We fell in love with it. Again Brian spent a lot of time going over everything with us and because of his professionalism and kindness, we also felt we made a friend in this experience. How different is that? I was a great experience right from the beginning with Brian to the end with Derek the business manager to the sales manager. I think his name was Steve. We left happy and will gladly tell everyone about John Megel Chevrolet and will also be back for our next vehicle. Wow, what an experience.

    Very Friendly experience I was so surprised how fast the loan application process went Thur and the finical officer in the dealership processed all paperwork very quickly. We were in and out driving the new car in less than 2 hours. The salesman was great he made sure we were able to get the car we wanted I would highly recommend this dealership to everyone!!!!

    I bought a 2012 Chevy Volt. Will was extremely helpful and friendly. Provide information above and beyond that for just the sale of the vehicle. Jesse, the finance manager, was also friendly as he handled the final paperwork. Neither he nor Will seemed duplicitous and both were genuinely interested in making the experience through their dealership as pleasant as possible. The price was very reasonable as well.
