I visited yesterday to shop for a Frontier. John Fox assisted me during my visit. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Top notch. His manager was also good to work with. I will visit again in the future.

My sister in law went up to Nissan of Athens to get her car serviced and after taking to the manager about what all was wrong with her car (which was less than a year old) he told her that he would make it right and just get her into a new vehicle that day gurenteed. After deciding on a car they took her to finance to get everything signed. The paperwork said that the car had 10 miles on it, but when she left realized that there was 128 miles. We called and went up there for them to make things right, however we were just given the run around and when we told them we wanted to cancel the deal that was less than 24 hrs old they said everything was electronic and we could not. I forgot to mention that her original car was under warenty so they would have to fix everything for free. They told us that they were allowed to lie about the mileage on the paperwork and that it didnt matter. They took advantage I fully believe because she was a woman. They should have just fixed her car... not get her into a new car that is costing $30 more a month. Dexter and the manager were who we delt with and we will never give our business to them in any way ever again!!! This place is [non-permissible content removed] do yourself a favor and go to another nissan.... trust me it will save you from the headache of this place!

I am a first time car buyer and was real impressed with the sales guy's low pressure, easy going tactics. I was sold on the new sentra and the sales guy went out of his way to make sure I was not going over budget. He found one they had priced low on their website and made sure the finance guy knew the price so there was no negotiating or haggling. I was also able to afford the extended warranty because I got my payments so low. This was a great experience. Every time I felt unsure, they did not hesitate to slow down and make sure everything was clear before moving on.

  • Great experience. Good deal.

I'm extremely picky (and knowledgeable) about my cars. I went in knowing what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. The team at Nissan of Athens found the car I wanted and gave me a good deal. Our primary sales rep, Miki, was especially helpful throughout the process, and didn't pressure. All in all, an excellent car-buying experience!

  • "Don't worry I will treat her like she is my grandmother."

My aunt went to look at a 2014 Altima. She informed the salesman she wanted the car but would not be able to purchase until I reviewed the contract. He called me and after some haggling we all agreed on a possible deal as long as she could leave and allow me to review contract overnight. He wanted to know why she couldn't sign right then. I explained to him that she had been ripped off in the past and did not understand all the wording and numbers in a contract and gave him some examples of people taking advantage of her in the past. He told me not to worry that he would treat her like his own grandmother. She and I spoke again on the phone and she agreed to leave right then. My aunt then asked for her papers that she brought with her , repeatedly for more than an hour. He would only continue to try to sell the vehicle to her, asking what he had to do to get her to sign right then. She expressed that she wasn't completely sure about the Altima and he got her to look at a Rogue instead. At some point my aunt was offered a 2 year service agreement . It was explained to her as free oil changes from the dealership, which she ended up paying over $600 for. They ended up giving her about $2500 less for her trade in than the lowest trade in value I could find. They charged her full retail price on the Rogue. So instead of starting out about $2000 upside down(because of her trade in) , she ended up financing around $7500 over msrp. I called the next day asking why they had gone ahead and wore her down and pressured the deal. The sales manager assured me they had used no high pressure sales techniques and any conversation we had about her ability to navigate a contract didn't matter because she was a competent adult and bound by her new contract.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Donnie and Damion. They both have excellent knowledge of the vehicle and made the purchase a good experience.

I recently purchased a car from them. Saturday September 1st, 2012. It was used. I understand it was as is, no warranty. I drove from Athens to Atlanta for work, and just before I get to work, my oil pressure light comes on. I take it back first thing Monday morning to ask them to check the oil pressure. They were less than happy to do it, but they "checked" my oil pressure. I dont think that they did, as you have to take the alternator off in order to get to the switch, and they were in there for a grand total of 27 minutes. I timed it. They told me it was fine, and was probably just a faulty oil switch. I drive the car back to work that night, and on my way home, then engine quits accelerating. I take it to my mechanic, and after a day of looking at it, he tells me the oil pressure is near 0. 14 psi at its absolute highest. At this point in time, I have had the car for a grand total of 3 days. Had not even had it for a full 48 hours when it broke down. Called the dealer to ask them if they would have some courtesy for a disabled veteran, and in barely nicer words, I was pretty much told to "Screw Off". As I said, I understand the car was sold as is, but I had not even had it for 48 hours. I was never offered an extended warranty either. This is NOT a good place to buy a used car. New cars might be different, but definitely not a used car.

My wife and I purchased our new 2012 Altima from Nissan of Athens. I usually like to speak directly with the Sales Manger to avoid getting the run around, however my Sales Consultant was Darius Ross. I honestly have never had a better experience in a new car purchase. Darius was very informative and friendly, he expedited the entire process. The Sales Manager Nick insured that we received the best possible deal. Before we left my wife and I had met the entire management staff and was appreciative that they took the time to introduce themselves to us. If you are in the market for a new Nissan I STRONGLY suggest you give Darius and Athens of Nissan a shot to earn your business!!!!!!!!!
