    I recently purchased a used vehicle from Mercedes of Sarasota. Let me start by saying that this isn't somewhere that I would normally be looking for a vehicle. Most vehicles there are way above my price point. They just happened to get a trade-in vehicle that met our needs and our price range. From the moment my wife and I walked in, we never felt out of place. We were greeted with smiles all around. CJ, our salesperson, was fantastic. He was thoughtful and had a good sense of humor, and answered all our questions. Long story short, we purchased the used vehicle (not a Mercedes), and shortly after, we started to notice something wasn't right with the transmission. We brought the vehicle back for an inspection, and that's where they really shined for us. From the sales manager, (I don't remember his name unfortunately) to the service manager Vincent, all the way to the wonderful ladies who set us up with a rental vehicle treated us with respect and kindness. I know this vehicle isn't even on their radar, compared to what they sell on a daily basis there, but you wouldn't know it by the way they responded to my issue. They partnered with GM to have a more in-depth look into the vehicle and found that it needed a new transmission. Not only did they take care of the whole thing, but they moved us into one of their own vehicles that was easily double the price of the vehicle I had purchased from them for the duration of the repairs. If this is the kind of service they provide for a used vehicle that probably ended up costing them money to sell after its all said and done, I can only imagine the service you'd get buying one of the actual vehicles with their name on it. I definitely recommend this dealership, I also recommend you ask for CJ. He was great. Sorry for the long review. It just needed to be said! 😁

    Went for for b maintenance and came out with warning "ABS". Which is a chance of locking up while driving and cruise control not working. Besides an added issue with gasket for oil pump

    First experience to get an oil/filter change with the service team. It was terrific! Lawrence made the trip worthwhile as he went the extra mile to ensure my vehicle was in tip top shape! Add to that, Val, service technician, did a great job checking everything over. Saw that front and rear brakes/calipers were in need of replacing as well as uncovering slight leakage from the transmission pan gasket 😱. In the end he did all of the work and I couldn’t be happier with the result 👍

    Service manager said my Mercedes diesel takes Mobile 1 full synthetic. Wrong! Then tried to charge me $300 for an oil change that was previously quoted at $260. Mercedes seems to have some confusion over diesel oil rating. One Mercedes online technician had never heard of ACEA E9 or API CK-4 ratings for diesel oil. That's downright frightening. Even my owners manual doesn't define the needed oil.

    Purchase of a used car was straight forward, low stress, and had minimal 'surprise' extra fees that are 'required' to buy the car. We all know there will be required fees/charges over the advertised price that are unavoidable if you want to buy the car. My experience was about $1600 - dealer fee and registration. We all know it does not cost $1600 to electronically register a car, lol. But it is what it is and I feel the final price was a fair price for the car.

    I rated a 4 because I had an appt to test drive a car and the salesman who had been communicating with me, had a repeat customer walk in, so he handed me off to another salesman. I’m glad he did though because Steven was friendly, witty, and extremely aware that this was a major purchase for me; my first new car in 20 years. Just a nice, trustworthy person.

    Service B on a prepaid maintenance plan, love my Mercedes GLA 250, unfortunately the last few visits they always say they don’t have any loaners available for months. This was my last service on my second prepaid pkg not worth it as I can get my car serviced at Tom Joyce out in PC affordable, professional, and reliable services.
