Best car purchasing experience ever!
by GolfGrl4 on 05/04/2023This was our first BMW purchase and experience with Tom Bush. We first called the dealership to talk with someone about their inventory of X-5s. We had the good fortune that Patel answered the phone. He is truly service-oriented and… dedicated to ensuring that the customer is totally pleased. This was the best car-buying experience we have ever had (and we have purchased many cars over the last 50 years!) We decided to custom-order the X-5 since we wanted a 2024 model, and were told it would take about a month from the order being placed to delivery to the dealer. It turned out to be exactly 4 weeks to order and be delivered since BMWs are made in South Carolina. There was no price haggling since you build the car with only the options you want. Everything is know up-front. Patel is an experienced BMW salesman who was friendly and helpful and realizes that the BMW brand sells itself. He is very knowledgeable about the BMW brand and features. He provided an excellent tutoral of the X-5 features (which are numerous!) They even provide a follow-up session to answer any additional questions you may have after driving the car for a few weeks. Also, a big shoutout to the finance rep (sorry I can't remember her name) who clearly outlined the optional services that were available without pressuring us to buy any of them. I highly recommend Tom Bush if you are in the market for a BMW. It is a first-class dealership who knows how to treat customers.We are thrilled to hear that our wonderful team provided such exceptional service during your purchasing process! Today was Such a Sad Day, I Cried Tears of Pain Instead of Joy 😞
by Crystal Marie on 04/27/2023I feel devastated in dealing with this dealership. Absolutely devastated. I have been a nurse for over 25 years and my husband has worked in Finance for over 30. We fell on hard times post Covid and needed to purchase another vehicle. We… did a LOT of research and decided to try this particular dealership because we had heard good things. I don’t even know what to say at this point….I am devastated, heartbroken, and in tears. I have spoken with every member of this dealership I can think of that is a key decision maker and they have all given me the run around. Here’s my situation…I am sharing because I don’t want anyone else to go through this ever. If it can help another person from being hurt then it is worth it. I wish I had known. 🥺🥺 I picked out a BMW and was told I wasn’t approved from the original company it was submitted to, I knew my credit wasn’t the best but I still knew I had plenty of credit for the purchase of this particular vehicle due to the down payment I was going to put down to off-set the credit. Something didn’t sound right, so I called the bank that the loan was submitted to…they said it WAS INDEED APPROVED!!!! I WAS SO UPSET and CONFUSED!!!??? Why would this dealership out-right LIE and not tell me the truth? So, I started asking each *manager* and got basically a different answer. I was told it would take a *while* if it even happened AT ALL? I had this message left on my voicemail from the dealership along with, well…we will have to *see what we can do but at this point we just don’t know*??? HUH??? What do you mean??? I need a car for WORK???? I am SO lost and HURT? I was approved? What did I do wrong here? I am devastated? This is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced? I finally was told a LONG story from the dealership that goes something like this.:…: *Well, this particular bank owes us some money, and they need to pay upfront before we can do anything, they owe us about $3500 at least. ****But what about the blatant LIE we were told? What about being told we were denied financing when in fact we weren’t denied anything!??! I am LIVID by this point this has NOTHING to do with me, this is something that was between the dealership and the bank and I find ALL of this very unprofessional. Basically if there was a problem, why wasn’t it disclosed from the beginning. I wouldn’t have bothered, we wouldn’t have been having this conversation at all. Just having the common courtesy to let me know from the beginning would have been nice. I was HONEST and transparent about my credit situation from the very beginning, why not show me the same courtesy? All customers should be given the same respect. We are all struggling out here. It’s harder than ever!! I’m just trying to purchase a vehicle!! I’m sorry you have issues with this financing entity that you submitted me to but don’t take it out on me???? Finally, I am asked a LOGICAL question, *What would make me happy?* I said, please, can you just honor what you promised from the beginning?? I was basically begging at this point!! I was approved for financing!!! Treat me like any other customer!! This isn’t fair! I am so confused! No different! That is all I want. That is all I’m asking for……please! What is between you and the other financial institution has NOTHING to do with me, if you didn’t want to use them, why did you USE them in the first place, why lead me on or get my hopes up, that’s just wrong on so many levels…..I will reiterate, I was APPROVED! I have proof of this from the FINANCE COMPANY. I’m at a total loss here!!!!???? Once again I am practically begging by this point….🥺 Please, let me have the car as promised with the terms we discussed!?? I have so much I need to do and this has been traumatic. 😢 I’m basically told….nothing….just silence on the other end, till finally….. “Well we can’t always get what we want, and things don’t always work out the way we want them to” ARE YOU serious right now!!!!!! WHY DID you even ask me the question?? Finally, I walked out of the room….I couldn’t take any more of this conversation. My husband finished up. After we were done, I did report this to BMW Corporate, and we have filed other reports to the proper channels as well for follow up. I can’t let this go, maybe it was my unlucky day….perhaps I’m the only person this has happened to. If this is case, GOOD! I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. I want to do my part in making sure I did my best to ensure it doesn’t happen to others by at least getting the word out, and following up with written and verbal reports. The nurse in me has to make sure it is reported at least! I did tell my husband this…..as a last ditch effort, I said honey, even though this is insane, and NO fault of ours, if this $3500 is the problem just call them back and tell them to add it to the back of the loan. I was willing to *TAKE that craziness TOO just so I could have this vehicle that should have been mine in the first place! *** The call was made and it was still a NO with now another excuse involving even MORE MONEY!!! Now we are told it would require several thousand dollars MORE upfront on the original down payment!!!! WHAT? Sometimes, there just aren’t any words! I have always have good memories from car dealerships, this was a first for me. How unfortunate I must say. How unfortunate indeed.Crystal, I want to sincerely apologize for your upsetting experience. We want the best for our customers and work hard to ensure we can provide accommodating financing. This is certainly not the way we want our guests to feel about our business, and I am concerned about your feedback. It seems that there was some lack of transparency as well as some miscommunications here, and I want to address them further with you to see how I can make this right. by TJA on 06/07/2022Just finished purchasing my third BMW from Tom Bush in Jacksonville for what has always been a seamless and enjoyable event. My salesperson and I were wrestling with ordering another X5 to replace my 2018 model, but then recalling the "fun"… I had with my first 5 Series - and after driving a used M550 - we submitted an order back in October. Well-documented production and supply chain issues kept these models almost non-existent, so we finally returned to an X5, which showed up in an impressive eight weeks. A great family-operated dealership with very minimal turnover, which speaks to its management style. Kudos to my sales, finance and service team of Jitendra Patel, Sheila Lewis and Brian Noell.Thank you for taking the time to review us! Extremely Unprofessional
by Sarah Garden on 05/24/2022My partner's BMW broke down, a local mechanic told us that the issue was covered under a recall. We called the dealership who told us that this was true and if we towed the car there, we would get a free fix. Upon towing the car there I… was assigned to the service manager Brian Noell. From the start, Brian was extremely angry yelling at me that there was no recall for this issue. Brian acted extremely unprofessional yelling at me several times refusing to even look at the car unless we were to pay $1,100. I will spare all the details here but Brian made me feel extremely unsafe and uncomfortable as a woman alone. I never yelled backed at him but he felt the need to make a scene. When we were finally able to speak to a manager, we were told that there was not a recall for this issue but an extended warrantee which expired on our car just a few months back. We had been incorrectly informed that they would fix this issue for free. The dealership is unwilling to apologize for Brian's actions and is not offering a satisfactory fix to a mistake one of their employees made. I would not recommend taking your car here to be worked on. If you have to take your car in for a recall ( and BMW has SO many) I would get it in writing from a manager that they will indeed fix the car for free before wasting your time. If you are a woman, I would not feel safe going alone.Over and above
