My brand new purchase caught on fire 20 miles after dealership!!!!
by Ali E on 12/28/2024They did not make it okay for their consumer!!! My car caught on fire 20 miles after. I paid so much to towing expenses because of this, and they said its all my responsibility. because it was AS-IS. what a Joke! They initially quoted me… $10,000 (with me paying $5,000 as half) for the repairs, but I ended up paying between $9,500 and $10,000 due to additional charges they kept adding on during the engine replacement. They installed a brand-new engine, and I had to purchase warranties, adding to the debt I was already drowning in. Now, I’m over $28,000 in debt on a car that was originally listed for $12,000. Thank you for selling me a lemon car! this was my temporary car before getting an M. and sure as hell will not be getting anything from there in future!Unorganized and poor sales policies
by C on 01/09/2024I was communicating with their sales team about a pre-owned vehicle. I called about it, said that I was familiar with the car, and was very interested in buying one with the same exterior/interior colors. I said I could not drive down that… day but could take time off work the next day to drive 2.5 hrs to see the car in person. I asked if there was a way to put a deposit on the car so they would hold it for me until I could see it but was told that’s not an option, but the keys would be set aside for me if I told them I was on my way. I made an appointment and they called me twice the day of my appointment to confirm I was coming. I asked if the car was still going to be there when I got there, as I was driving 2.5 hours to see it, and was told yes. But when I got to the dealership, a sales associate casually said that a guy was in the process of purchasing the car at the very moment/deal was already made. I was shocked. I told him I had an appointment and had driven in to look at the car, and he just kind of shrugged and said he had been working “six deals that morning” on the car. I wasted five hours of my time and barely got an apology.We sincerely apologize for the negative experience you had during your visit to BMW of Gainesville. They advertise lower prices on their website but when you go there to their show room they will provide higher prices in their quote. A very unprofessional experience…
by Douglas on 03/30/2022I had purchased a new BMW from this dealership four years ago and had a great experience. As a result, I gave them the opportunity to sell me another new car. My first contact with a sales person was disappointing and exposed a lack of… professional courtesy. My second contact resulted in a sales contract based on the wrong car. I have found this particular sales person to be borderline incompetent and very unprofessional. I would expect more from a BMW dealership. I have contacted another dealership in the hopes that I will be treated to a significantly better buying experience.Classy-Courteous-Charles

The process started via phone and ended with us traveling from Jacksonville to Gainesville to pickup my brand new… 2022 228i Grand Coupe. Charles was due to get off work at 6pm. He stayed the course with us and did not leave until he touched on every detail of how to work our new toy. We shut the place down. Thanks Charles for making our first BMW experience a great one!!!!!Great Sales Experience

The only hiccup was at the end when we were told that the limit for plastic was $5000, and we needed to provide more and only a check would do and we did not have a checkbook with us - debit card… was no go. Ended up wiring the balance after we got home. Would have been nice to know before the process started. In the end it worked out fine. Overall good experience.Gainesville BMW #1 in customer service

I had a good varied selection of makes to choose from used and my family had a huge selection of BMW to choose from. We received excellent service all through the sales at every… step of the way, we have made friends now with our go to salesmen Bonito excellent guy and knows his stuff and in service Dave getting it checked out on time has made dealing with the realities of owning maintaining a car and buying a car SO MUCH easier The high pressure nonsense of other dealerships to us is now a thing of the past. I live in the Tampa Bay Area & it was worth the 144 mile journey on a Sunday… afternoon. What a difference than dealing with Mercedes if Tampa Bay!
