Appalling Customer Service
by Leo on 09/10/2020I have been a loyal customer of Danbury Kia for the past 7 years. I have time and again received great service at the location which is one of the main reasons I shop and service my vehicles at the dealership. However, dealing with Nuno… Miranda and the manager Adam Perrucio has deter me from ever going there again. The absolute poor customer service displayed by both was appalling. Rather than attempting to resolve a mistake made by their financial manager, they both simply decided to hang up on me and for me “to figure it out on my own.”Horrible
by Dickburns on 04/29/2018The worst experience I have ever had buying a car. Sal is the worst person I have ever dealt with. How he has a job is unbelievable.Excellent service
by DeeMF1029 on 09/16/2017I had a wonderful experience purchasing my vehicle from Kia. I dealt with both Jake and Jimmy and I couldn't ask for better salesmen. They didn't pressure me into buying anything. It helped that I knew what I wanted. I have… already spoken highly of them and have told people looking for cars to go and see them. Again, I had a wonderful experience and we will be looking for another vehicle within the next 6 months and will start with them first to find what we want. Thank you Kia for the incredible service.BMW owner turns to Kia
by pdurosko on 09/01/2017Excellent experience, and seasoned professional sales staff, particularly Adam Faucci who turned a BMW owner into KIA driver with aplumb.Great place to buy a car!
by efredette on 05/02/2017updated 05/15/2017I went to Danbury Kia to find a new car after mine was totaled, and everyone there was great. They helped me find what I needed at the best prices with great rates. They really made sure I was happy with my purchase and made my experience… very enjoyable.Angry and annoyed
by Ibuycars318 on 01/10/2017I only give this dealership 1 star because 0 is not an option. Went to purchase a specific car, made and appointment with a gentleman by the name of Rich. Took off work early to drive from NY to CT, only to find out that the car had been… sold the day before. The salesman that met me immediately knew the car was gone. But the original salesman, RICH, WAS TRYING TO BE SLICK. Offering me something else like I want that instead. The Sales manager Peter Molony was very apologetic but really offered very little assistance in trying to rectify a problem. Nothing comparable, but to his credit he did say if he found a car similar to the one I went to purchase he would call me right away. It's a shame because all of this could have been prevented with a simple courtesy call to say the car had been sold. Your salesman RICH should be TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY. Poor management of resources, the Internet or inventory. I will write negative reviews concerning my experience with this dealership until I receive some correspondence from someone with actual authority to fix this major mishap. Thanks for nothing.Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention. We are very sorry to have disappointed you. This type of miscommunication is not the way we normally do business. Our General Sales Manager, Justin Hagan, would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about this in more detail. Please contact him, at your convenience, at 203.825.5940. We hope to bring this to a positive resolution for everyone. Thank you.
Want a phenomenal car buying experience?
by epolaco16 on 09/11/2016I had an idea of the vehicle I wanted to see or better yet purchase but with all the dealerships within distance, it was so hard to choose which one to go to. That led me to doing what you are doing right now, on Edmunds in search of where… can I find the best car buying experience from someone that cares about my needs and wants by building a rapport with me as well as is focused on getting me into what I need and want. If that's what you are looking for in your first or next vehicle purchase then look no further, call in to Danbury Kia, request to speak with Jeffrey Sousou, make an appointment that works for you both and take the trip. I promise you it's worth every single penny. We all have to interact with a sales person one day or another if you're purchasing something physically. Some of us dread the thought of it. I myself was in electronic sales in the past and lead teams of electronic sales. I can tell you that Jeffrey Sousou is by far one of the best sales consultants I've ever interacted with. He builds a rapport with you as soon as you walk into the dealership, from listening to your every single need to your every single want to your concerns about maintenance, mpg, colors, whatever it is, he has an answer and proposed solution for it. Jeff does everything and anything he can to win you over more than being just a customer but a friend. I for once never felt pressured to leave with a new set of keys in my hands, contrary he gets just as excited as you do when he's able to work you into something you want. Within the past 2 months I've not only purchased 2 brand new vehicles from him but also peace of mind. Even after the sale, if there's a service that he can be involved in or assist with any questions or concerns that we may have, he's right there for us once again with a proposed solution. For that I will be a lifetime customer of Jeffrey Sousou and Danbury Kia as long as he's around. I am sending anyone and everyone I know in search of a new vehicle over to him. If this review helped you, let him know that Earvin sent you down. P.S. Justin Hagan the business manager is AWESOME! He makes the least fun part of the car buying experience a breeze, paperwork by getting straight to the point and you into your new car ASAP. Another person that understands your needs and won't upsell you on unnecessary add-ons. Keep rockin' guys!Someone lied to me...
by Pepiddd on 08/13/2016I had a long conversation when I bought the van about how "if we got the car serviced throughly then the dealership would extend the warrenty to lifetime" Now a few years later (and years of overpriced services) "we have no record of… that". So now I have to hopefully dig up the paperwork on my end and hope I was smart enough to check for that part in writing at the time of purchase. Either they aren't looking for the paperwork now or they lied back then.We apologize for the inconvenience but it is necessary for us to document qualification for any special offers. If you would contact our Service Manager, Wayne Maher, at 203.825.5940, he will be happy to expedite this process for you.
Jeff is the best!
by Gch713 on 08/01/2015Great service, no nonsense, no headaches, drove away with a brand new car in less than 2 hoursThank you for the positive feedback! We're happy to hear that we were able to work with you and give you the best service you deserve. Thanks again for the 5-star rating!
Excellent
by Beast1279 on 04/22/2015I am so thankful to the gentleman that sold me the car. I was having a difficult time in my life and really showed concern and really made my day. I hope that your company knows they have one of the best working for them. If I ever was a… boss, owner of a company, he would be promoted and set a a role model to the rest of the people in the company. I want to say thank you for not just selling me a car, but also treating like family. I hope you are blessed with all you deserve in life and you will do great things for that company.Worst experience ever
by kml02013 on 12/09/2013updated 06/11/2025I'm not even sure where to begin. I have never been treated so badly regarding any customer service at any kind of business. Just writing about this makes me so angry. I bought my used car from there, and besides the fact that that… experience wasn't nearly what it should have been, I wanted the car so I made the deal work. We made a deal that there were a few things that needed to be fixed that I would come back for once the parts were in. Well, after weeks of trying to get a hold of them, and I mean multiple phone calls and emails, I tell them the day I can come in, they call me back to confirm and they confirm a different day! So I have to completely rearrange my schedule to make it down there, I live over an hour away from them. I was only going back there for service because of the deal we made to fix some aesthetic things when I bought the car. They told me it would take an entire day to give me two new rims that were scratched up really bad, fix a piece of plastic, a tiny rip in the leather, and put a new air filter in. I get there, I give them the keys, and I sit down ready to wait for hours. A couple of hours go by and I go to check on the progress. My car had a donut on it. I asked why and they said the "rim guy" came and took my tire. First of all, he took only one, there were two that needed to be replaced. Again, replaced, not fixed. They said they ordered two rims and they were in. They never ordered them. They also told me the rim guy would give it back in a few days. What?! I told them to get my tire back here, that was unacceptable. They couldn't get a hold of him and didn't know where his shop was. Are you serious? They also being to argue with me that it was only one rim to be fixed. So not only do they lie telling me they ordered two new rims and they had arrived, now they're retracting on their agreement. The plastic piece was also not ordered. They did fix the slit in the leather and replaced the air filter. I made them do an oil change for free at that point because when I bought the car, it apparently wasn't done recently. I walked in to speak with the manager, where I stood outside the room because I heard my name, and I continued to stand there and listen to them say some pretty nasty things. I walked in after I heard enough and let them know exactly what I had to say. They began to apologize, offered to pay for gas (but then didn't) and said they'd order the plastic piece and send it to my home. I grabbed my keys, telling them this was the worst experience I've ever had. In fact, I get home later that night and notice that there's a dent in one of my license plates (I'm an EMT and have a EMT license on my car). I have never received the plastic part from them. I wish to never speak to them again and hope only that others read this and don't do business there. We are very sorry that you were so frustrated by this experience--and understandably so. As discussed previously, we will be happy to address these issues for you whenever you are able to schedule an appointment. To inconvenience you as little as possible, we will provide a loaner vehicle while the work is done. Your situation has been discussed with everyone involved to ensure that this type of miscommunication and error do not occur in the future. Customer service is very important to us. We want to provide the type of experience designed to encourage our customers to return. We thank you for your feedback. It is an invaluable tool in the process of improving our procedures. We look forward to resolving these issues with you as soon as possible. With regards, Susan Eway Director of Customer Relations
EXCELLENT Service!!
by christine36 on 02/07/2013updated 06/11/2025My son and I were greatly impressed with total experience while purchasing my 2010 KIA Forte on Saturday. Clem our salesperson was very helpful, pleasant and most informative! Manny in financing department expedited the entire loan process… quickly and pleasantly! It was just wonderful NOT having to deal with entire registration process at DMV too as they took care of Everything! Paul and Bill in service dept quickly made me a second key and helped alleviate my fears re future service questions. Bill the Manager personally checked on us to see if everything was to our liking. Lastly, the entire staff made us feel most welcome from the moment we stepped foot within Danbury KIA doors. Thank you for this Most Pleasant experience and I just LOVE my (almost brand new) KIA Forte.Soul Plus Titanium 6 speed manual 2.0

Danbury Kia - Best Car buying Experience ever
by lpolgano on 07/02/2012updated 06/11/2025My family & I have purchased many new & used vehicles over the years. Danbury Kia made this experience the most enjoyable. I visited Brent Addonizio (sales-person) on Wednesday, and was driving away in my new car less than 24 hours later.… They handled all of my financing needs as well. Their % was comparable to the other quotes I received, and no hassle at all. Jenn Brown made the financing a breeze. I went in to the dealership with a monthly price in mind, and felt no pressure to move that budget. They worked around me. My husband is purchasing a new car this Fall, and we won't consider another dealership. We are sticking with this dealer. Thank you to the Sabatinis!Soul Plus Titanium 6 speed manual 2.0
