Awesome Sales Experience
by RPaul on 07/14/2023
I can't say enough good things about the Crowley Kia dealership and all of the employees I came in contact with! First of all Will Johnson, who was my first contact person. The car I was interested in test driving was not in the dealership… yet, but Will assured me that he would contact me when it came in; sure enough! He did! However, he was off the day I was coming in for the test drive, so he set me up with Luke Cappelli. Luke was fantastic in that he was professional, easy to work with and extremely accommodating. I felt no pressure whatsoever, yet he supported me through the entire process. There was also Pete DeBarber, the general sales manager who happily answered MANY questions! Vicki Brogna, the business manager was just lovely and helped make some of the paperwork easy to complete. Lastly, Special Finance Manager, Rob Boyle was terrific, easy going, very knowledgeable and professional. I hope if you are reading this review you will give your business to Crowley Kia. I did, and I drove there from New York! Well worth the trip!

Wonderful experience
by ctdriver5 on 11/21/2013updated 07/13/2025I just bought a 2013 Kia Optima SXL from the Crowley dealership in Bristol Ct. Every member of the staff, both in sales and back office, went out of this/her way to make the deal palatable and ensure a positive customer experience. They… were very knowledgeable about the car and its features, and treated us well with my trade in too! I would highly recommend this dealership, and have done so. My kids are already eyeing my new car... I've told them they need to get their own, and that they would do well to go to Crowley.Robbed by Crowley Kia- [non-permissible content removed]
by robbed5 on 03/04/2014updated 07/13/2025The most dishonest and crooked dealership I have ever encountered. On February 17, I spent time at Crowley Kia located in Bristol, Ct. Before going to the bank and putting down a deposit, I was assured by Ryan L. in Sales that my deposit… was 100% refundable if I decided not to go w/ the vehicle. I was hesistant as the receipt didn't state any terms. Ryan assured me they were a reputable business and would stand by what they told me. The following week, I called Ryan and told him that I would not be going w/ the vehicle. He said he would get the refund mailed to me. I also spoke with Tom in Sales the following week. He said Ryan mispoke but that they would honor their terms with me and mail me a check within the next few days. Weeks went by w/ no return phone call. I called this morning (March 4th) and spoke w/ Mike, Manager of sales who said I would not be refunded as his Sales people mispoke. This dealership is crooked and has stolen from me. They do not stand by their agreements. I want a refund immediately. I will make sure everyone knows about their deceitful business practices and will write every review possible telling the public of thier dishonesty. They are complete [non-permissible content removed].Aweome

by easyheimer on 04/03/2014updated 07/13/2025We bought a car at Crowley Kia in Bristol CT. Drove off with it and that's where our nightmare begins. About 4 days later we received a call from Mike B. and he explained that we needed to come down because they found more damage than… originally thought on our trade in. He said that we needed to either come down and pay them $2500, redo the paperwork for the deal and write up the trade in for $2500 less, or CLAIM THE DAMAGES ON OUR INSURANCE. I'm not sure how he figured we could do that since we had already removed the insurance from that car the day that we traded it in. He also gave us the option of bringing the new car back and they'd cancel out the deal and give us our trade back. I told him there was no way that we were going to take more of a hit on our trade and that I'd be fine with bringing the car back and taking back the trade. He said he would call me back and let me know where we were at. I'm sure he had to talk to his manager about it. We waited about a day before he called me back. By then he was talking to me like I was a child, and being very demeaning on the phone and said "I'll tell you what buddy, we will take $1500 off the trade value and we will call it a deal. I told him basically I've had the car for a week now that wouldn't be feasible. He was basically harassing me and my wife and making us regret buying the car from there in the first place. Once the sale was over it seems like the good customer service went out the window. We were originally looking for an SUV (Sportage) but figured it might be more sensible to get something that is a little lighter with a little better gas mileage. That's why we chose the Kia Soul. Well I have to say that we are very disappointed with the car. The car gets about 6mpg LESS than what it was advertised on the sticker and I've been feathering the gas. It feels like we have been cheated out of our hard earned money. How could they put these numbers on the car if it doesn't even come close to that. Also, the wind noise that comes from this car is almost unbearable. Car came with the worst tires in the world in snowy weather. Why would put tires that suck on a vehicle that is going to be driven in CT, especially when it's being sold during the winter season. You feel every bump and interior scratches VERY easily. I feel like we paid for a car that is made of plastic and on the same level of quality as a kids toy. Now this kia is going to cost me just as much, MAYBE EVEN MORE on gas than a Kia Sportage with the AWD which apparently gets better gas mileage. THIS REALLY MAKES ME MAD.Great Experience
by samantha16 on 10/28/2013updated 07/13/2025I recently bought a used car from Butch, and it was a great experience. He was not pushy at all, and he put in the leg work to find me the car I really wanted. The finance girl was also a pleasure to work with. She was not pushy at all… either! I have been to a lot of dealerships, and this was hands down the best overall experience.
