Service of 2022 2500 GMC Sierra HD
by Richard on 07/09/2023I was informed, prayer my appointment, that all the missing parts to my vehicle were available to be installed. However, park assist system was not. The information page about remaining milage of the tank still is not working and the smell… of burning oil wasn't fixed. Communication with my technician was poor. I had call couple of times to him and left message about progress with my vehicle but there was no call returned. A fumble at every turn
by pflamer on 04/11/2023Wow I don’t even know where to start. What should have been one of the easiest and painless transactions to well qualified buyer was anything but easy. I found this vehicle on an internet search after looking for a few weeks. I knew what… I wanted and given the current market for availability of vehicles it was a fair deal. I was still hoping to be able to negotiate something. I was told NO from the get go from Carly my sales person repeatedly. NO we don’t negotiate our pricing. That’s an @autonation policy. No we can’t reduce our exorbitant $699 “dealer handling fee” another @autonation policy. No you can’t use your credit union to finance your vehicle, you have to use our lender and pay 6% more in interest than you are already pre-qualified for. We are going to pull your credit multiple times to eventually get an approval with a bank that will approve the loan amount that exceeds the value of the vehicle we are selling you. I then tried to add my trade in that their website said was valued at $53k to which they offered $45k. That’s just an estimate they said. I ended up selling my trade in for $61K locally. When we agreed on terms it took them almost a week to get me actual docs to sign that they requested I sign at a local Auto Nation dealership. The docs were missing pages so 3 more days of FedEx packages back and fourth. I had a 10 day out of the country trip planned for the following week so by the time they finally released the vehicle to the shipper I was out of the country and wouldn’t see the vehicle for almost 3 weeks after our first negotiations. I had to arrange for my neighbor to accept delivery and it sat in my garage until my return. So when I finally got to see the vehicle it had been delivered filthy out side and dirty inside with dog hair stuck to the carpet and with only a 1/4 tank of fuel. It also didn’t even have a temp registration tag so I could drive it. When I text Carly to ask about the status of my registration this was her response “ We are corporate, with over 320 dealerships. That type of thing is handled way above anyone I am in contact with. I would suggest calling the store and asking to speak with Hayden, our GM”. Really??!? Maybe the GM doesn’t have anything better to do than track down vehicle registrations. How about you provide good customer service and find out for me!?. I did reach out to the title dept at the dealership and no one answers those phones or returns phone calls it seems. I’ve left messages with no response. It’s been over a month and I still don’t have a copy of the paperwork I signed. I’ve asked numerous times for that from the finance dept to no avail. Maybe it’s @Autonations policy to deliver dirty vehicles with low fuel then give they buyer no paperwork or follow up with registration who knows. If you decide to do business with this dealership GOOO LUCK! Lower your expectation to near zero and hope they get your paper work right the first time since you’ll need all that luck if you have any questions or need assistance once you sign on the dotted line. So much room for improvement here. I’m surprised a dealership that’s run like this can stay in business.Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. 2017 GMC Terrain Recall Service "Headlamp Reflection May Cause Glare"

Can't get it done right the first time and take 2 months to correct things
by ClayBns on 02/13/2023We took our Yukon Denali in for an oil change and ~95K mile service in early December. We have (hopefully) just now gotten all our required service done after 4 trips to have issues readdressed after having the car in the shop originally… for over 4 business days on the "original" routine service in December (including, engine mount, shocks/struts all around, drivetrain flush, new tires, all presumable OEM approved). The dealership has a history of poor communication with us and continues to be exceedingly poor in customer service and communication within the dealership as well as between the dealership and customer. This is the second time I had direct conversations with the manager and although team members have changed the communication issues remain. . It is quite frustrating to pay dealership repair prices and the dealership can’t do it right the first time and then takes 2 month to rectify the problem without trying to work with us on ways to mitigate the impact of 4 times without the vehicle while it is serviced.Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. General Good
by J K on 04/27/2022I have a Saturn ION. Saturn, used to be under GMC, but is now defunct. Saturn uses GMC parts so I need to take it to a GMC dealership. My car is over 100K in mileage; I happen to acquire the original Saturn "Maintenance Log: High Altitude… Service Requirements" as a hard copy. I prefer that they take their time to do the maintenance right so I tend to schedule in the middle of the week and leave it over night. In general, service advisors always seem to ask: "What is needed ?", to which I reply "do what's in the maintenance book for the mileage". I tend to forget what was previously done and when (for example: "flushing the transmission fluid"; I hope their computers logs will be able to answer for me Typically the AutoNation website "schedule Service" feature does NOT allow a text area field to accept your input on what you need. (It still does not) This time I was **PLEASANTLY** surprised by #1: when I scheduled service, I got the email address of my service advisor allowing me to send email with a PDF file attachment of the relevant page in the previously mentioned Maintenance log #2: the service advisor was able to consult their "maintenance computer" on suggested maintenance line-items and essentially ONE UP ME (or do it better) #3: the service advisor left a voicemail indicating: "it was done and ready for pick up" (typically they tend to forget this step. I call ahead to make sure before pickup) The first wrinkle (which that Autonation has NO control over) was due to a personnel shortage, I had to wait an extra day for the maintenance to be completed The only other wrinkle was that when I dropped off my car in the afternoon (the day before the appointment) ... the courtesy shuttle was unavailable (assigned to pickup parts) so I had to take a cab home. It took the cab company roughly an hour to dispatch a taxi (luckily I cleared my scheduled and assumed the worst case)Hello, We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a response.
