Lemon car that has cost me almost $20,000
by Amber B. on 11/21/2024I bought a used Jeep back in June. The check engine light came on and was blinking within 2 hours of leaving the lot. It has been in the shop over 2 months since I have had it. It now needs a new engine and has cost me $20,000 on top of the… purchase price. Mercedes Benz of Denver said they would help with repairs at first and never followed through. I would not recommend this dealer, according to the computer on the jeep they cleared codes that would have flagged these issues before selling it. Fraudulent company that lies to customers, says they will help and don’t follow through on even a small repair.We would like to discuss your experience with you and how best to address and alleviate your concerns. Worst Experience of my life, purchased my car, but didn't ship it
by yymmgg22 on 11/09/2024Purchasing a vehicle with Mercedes Benz Denver CO has been the WORST experience of my life. I flew to Denver to look at and purchase a car. Before I left, Nikko told me that my car would be picked up / ship to me the next day.… Unfortunately he fell ill and I was forced to work with Griffin. Took me on the car ride. I completed the paperwork and he promised a shipment the following day. Then it was the next day by noon then tMonday at the latest. I contacted the shipping company and they said they never gave anyone at Mercedes the shipment dates they gave me. Mercedes is blaming the shippers, yet still giving me false dates for delivery. Also, they had zero problem cashing my check the day I purchased my car and now they are not delivering it!!! The sales team, specifically Griffin, has the worst communication, he lied about the shipment being scheduled, backtracked and blamed the company for not having drivers after he had told me it was already scheduled, blamed subcontractors for lack of their follow up. I asked to speak to a manager and he gave me the name and never connected us even though he said he elevated my shipping issue to Emily (manager). I'm still waiting and it doesn't seem like it will ship. If you was to stay sane do not purchase a car from Mercedes Denver CO.Hi there, I would like to get some more details about your experience with us. Outstanding Sales experience

by Muablerual on 07/18/2024I purchased my second car in less than 3 months from Mercedes of Denver on April 17, 2024 and have waited 3 months to post a review because I wanted to believe that when my sales person and the finance manger said repeatedly that “I got… you” and “we will figure this out” and lastly all of the warranty items that I inadvertently agreed to and then within 1.5 hours of leaving the dealership texted and called to cancel “would be taken care of, it’s all reversible, it’s all cancelable (nearly $12k), is totally refundable”. Before I bought my first car at the Mercedes of Denver dealership I had not bought a car from a brick and mortar dealership in many years. I had purchased all of my cars (5 teslas) online, taken care of everything via app, and had little to no interaction with a live person and it was seamless and transparent. When I decided to trade my Tesla for a 2023 EQS 450 SUV in January of 2024 my dealings with Mercedes of Denver were lovely and it restored my faith in a traditional dealership experience. I felt like my sales person was a new found friend, and the finance manager had our back. I even sent my dear friend to buy her GLS 450 from “my guy” at the dealership. She had a lovely experience. I wend back April 17, 2024 and traded the 2023 EQS and my other Tesla model X for the 2024 EQS 450 SUV and it the transaction seemed like it was going to go in the same positive direction as the previous. This time I didn’t bring my husband and did the deal myself saying that whatever my husband agreed to on the 2023 ESQ warranty would be fine for the 2024. I got to the end of marathon worthy e-contract to find that my contract price was almost $12,000 more than we had agreed on during the trade discussions. It was explained to me that these were the warranties that were the same as what my husband had agreed on three months prior for the 2023, I figured ok. I hugged the finance guy, and my sweet sales person and went home. I live about an hour and a half away and by the time I got home and talked to my husband I knew I had made a mistake in blindly agreeing to these warranty items and called and texted to have it canceled. I even said I’d turn around and come back to resign everything and was told “ not a problem, you don’t need to come back and resign we will take care of it”. I believed these people, I felt like they without a doubt take care of everything and the $12,000 would be taken off my contract. After 7 weeks I can tell you that not only was I not taken care of I truly believe that the dealership intentionally and with full knowledge submitted the paperwork WITHOUT amending the contract for their own financial gain/bonus. We’ve even been in contact with the General Manager Emily Caldwell. It took her five days to reach out and has not resolved anything, she has however made excuses and empty promises of a resolution. In these last 3 months my husband and I have gone from being part of the MB of Denver family to basically pleading for this dealership to make good on reversing these “fully refundable” charges. To date we have gotten $4972 back along with endless lies and excuses. Listen, still being due $6149 sucks but what really upsets me is that feeling like I was duped. I bought my sales person and finance manager lunch. We had a friendly relationship, I felt like I could trust these people and defended these people when my husband would recall all of the none/ vague responses and unanswered calls and emails. I trusted that they “got me”. It actually hurts my heart that after the supposed relationship we had formed that these people did not have my back, did not make it right, did not figure this warranty stuff out that day, or the next or even in the same week. The loss of money sucks but the lack of human decency component, that really breaks my heart. I would have gone back to Mercedes Benz of Denver and bought my daughter her first car from there. I thought that was the relationship I had formed with the staff. It’s a bummer that this just another sleazy dealership that will tell you anything and then screw you over.We regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around. VIP Welcome
by VIPTreatment on 05/22/2024I did not know what to expect when I came across a used vehicle listing at Mercedes-Benz of Denver. The vehicle was for my teenage drivers to share and definitely not going to be a huge financial investment - it just needed to be… dependable enough to drive locally and not have major mechanical repairs worth more than the car itself. We were definitely not a stereotypical Mercedes-Benz customer when we arrived at the dealership to see the vehicle, but Griffin and the dealership never treated us with anything but hospitality and professionalism. My teenagers got a kick out of the V.I.P. tag on the vehicle and the silver Mercedes-Benz license plate holder as we took the vehicle out for a test drive with Griffin in the surrounding area. Pleasant and genuine throughout, Griffin answered any questions I had and stayed past closing that Saturday to work through paperwork so we could close on Monday (unfortunately my bank was closed already on Saturday, preventing my ability to get the cashier's check ready). As Griffin had promised, the vehicle was meticulously detailed when we arrived on Monday - it did look almost like an entirely new vehicle! I can truly say the grins on my teenagers' faces on Monday as Griffin handed them the key and as they opened the gift box with the two Mercedes-Benz key chains inside was a testament to the warm welcome and happy memory that was made for their first car and buying experience. He listened to what I was looking for and addressed what vehicle would be best for me and did not… try upscale me on something that I did not need. I had spoken with several other dealers the previous day and was very frustrated by being pushed for something that was unnecessary. Sales rep, Nevada was super respectful and knowledgeable to go through the models and asking us… our requirements about model that we are interested or looking for and budget etc. See had been very helpful through out the process by going a step above and beyond to provide details and follow-ups etc. 4. Nevada answered all of our questions throughout the process and would give her 5/5 (or 10/10 if it's an option). I would definitely go back to Nevada for any future sales and will not hesitate to refer her to my friends/family. 5. Also, the financing department folks were very helpful and patient and absolutely answered every question we had.
