    The Service Advisor Donovan Thurman did an excellent job of letting me know how long it was going to take to get the service done on my car. He checked the items I asked about on my car while my car was being serviced. My car was ready in the time frame he had said.

    Josh and the Subaru Techs at Arapaho Auto Nation provided efficient and reliable service. I had only 36,600 miles on my 2020 Outback, and they provided good advice on the appropriate services. They met their projected service schedule and provided good recommendations for specific future services based on my past maintenance and time of ownership. I recommend them for anyone seeking reliable service work.

  • Great Sales Experience, but Disappointing Financial Consultation

    Buying my car through AutoNation Subaru was a three-star experience based on how we felt during and after purchasing our Crosstrek. Working with our salesman was great, but when we met with the financial representative to discuss warranties, things changed. After we declined the warranties being offered, the financial representative's demeanor shifted noticeably. He seemed upset, shuffling papers and typing on his keyboard aggressively. He also made claims that Subaru’s tech features often fail and that new cars are not guaranteed to last because they are not certified. This made us feel pressured and less confident in our new car’s technology features, putting us in an awkward position. AutoNation could improve in this area to ensure a more comfortable and positive experience for their customers.

  • Hassle solving problem

    After buying a Certified preowned Subaru I found that it had paint and body damage in excess of what was allowable on a Subaru Certified Vehicle Check List (which I did not receive a copy of at closing). I had to work with with the Sales Dept. to get the vehicle fixed. I was first told paint damage was not on the certified list. When they realized they were wrong they said they would order me a paint pen. I would not agree to this, and they advised they would fix the problem. When I returned to pick up the car it looked worse than before. I had to return several days later and it was still not done properly. This required a third trip and the issue was still not resolved. I met with the owner of the collision center and was told the car would be fixed. On my fourth visit the car appeared to have been done properly. All in all I made four one hour round trips and was without the car for about 18 days. I did have a loaner car during this time. This was not a major problem and should have been fixed prior to certification and definitely should have been fixed right the first time. I have no complaints other than the above as the purchase and financing of the car went smoothly and trouble free. I would recommend this dealer with caution.

    • A quick follow up to my original review. As requested I contacted the General Manager. He stated he had not read the review and had no knowledge of why I was calling. I explained the problems and difficulty getting the car repaired. He was unconcerned, asked no questions or offered any solutions but added he was glad they got it fixed. I will not be returning to this dealer or company for any follow up work or service.

    I don’t think it’s often people have a “great experience” when buying a car. But I sure did. I worked with Sara and she was absolutely wonderful. She wasn’t pushy and she didn’t try to get me into something that didn’t fit what I was looking for. She was very friendly and caring. This is a great dealership and I’d recommend them any day.

    AutoNation sales team were professional and did a great job of following up. Not too much but enough to know they wanted your business. They seem to have a lot of steps that could have been condensed to make the process more efficient. The entire staff presented themselves with honesty and demonstrated a desire to do the right thing for the customer. That could benefit by upgrading the showroom a bit.

  • Happy new Forester owner

    Stopped by on a Friday night just to do a quick comparison between a Forester and a Honda CRV we had just looked at.down the road. Christina was very helpful, even thought we were just doing research and felt bad kind of wasting her time. After the visit, did some research and figured a Forester (Premium) would meet our needs. Since they only had a couple in stock, and not with the color we wanted, we figured we'd just go in and place a deposit on one coming in within the next month. Bryan, our rep using our Costco benefit, mentioned they just got a Forester Sport released for sale and do we want to have a look. It was a step up from the Premium we were looking at, but it had just what we wanted and with the discount, was still in our price range. We purchased it on the spot. In fact, they were surprised we even take it for a test drive. Mike the GM insisted we at least drive around the lot. As usual on a Saturday, it takes a bit of time, but everyone was friendly and helpful and we had a great experience. We'd recommend them for anyone looking to get a new Subaru.
