Warranty 2013 GMC TERRAIN
by Glenn10656 on 04/28/2016Brought it in knowing problem was Under warranty. I kinda felt I was treated as if I was stupid. I knew the rear main was blown and there was a Noise coming from the transmission. After 9 days the vehicle was returned. I had to… continually explain where the noise was coming from. Over all the repair was completed And my rental was covered under The 100,000 mile warranty. I would have had to pay 380.00 for the rental other wise. I will not however bring this vehicle There if it's out of warranty. It would Cost me a fortune in rental fees just waiting for completion.Not very detailed detail
by Wade_Smith on 04/08/2016Purchased our car here in 2009 and was not happy. Recently we returned to have the car detailed. We had to bring to the staffs attention that the windshield, dash and visors were not clean. It was as though we were asking them to do… something not included in a car detail. A few days later when it snowed, we could not find the window scrapers! We brought it to their attention at which point they quickly returned our two scrappers. But... they were not ours! 2 weeks later we are still waiting to get our scrappers back as promised by the staff. To top it all off, while searching for the window scrapers, we found the parts that the detail staff broke off during the detail. They conveniently hide them in one of the storage cubbies. Johnson Auto Plaza staff graciously offered to order and install the broken parts. 1 weeks later we are still waiting for the parts to arrive.New Used Car Owner
by TKD456 on 04/21/2015We were happy with our sales rep. They even delivered the car to us 50 miles away from the lot. I was a bit disappointed that a small plastic piece was missing from the car (I did not notice that when we checked out the vehicle twice).… Not sure what happened to it. Also, we were promised another cleaning of the car before we took possession. Sadly, the car had not been cleaned again as promised. For a used vehicle, this car is in great shape.Won't buy anywhere else!

Frank was professional and pleasant and Matt was very helpful. No high pressure salesmanship here, just… listening to what we were interested in looking at and providing the information to help us make a decision.Great sales experience

We have bought our last few vehicles here over the last 3 years. We recently, 2… months ago, bought a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro SS, and a used 2003 VW Beetle for my daughter which Ryan arranged to be bought from another dealership and brought there so we could purchase all 3 there. Now, after making a not so smart decision in buying a Camaro as a main vehicle, Ryan and the team there have gone to great lengths to help get us out of the lease on that car and found the perfect Jeep Wrangler for us. We have also worked with Chris in wrapping up the deals and he is amazing. This is the wonderful hometown atmosphere that I love in a dealership. I would recommend this dealership to everyone. by pgyoung on 03/08/2014updated 06/12/2025In October, 2013 a friend asked me to help him find and buy a new Chevy truck. I made a couple of calls to dealer contacts and checked the internet. We got in his truck and went to Johnson Automotive, met with John M. and he brought the… exact truck my friend wanted to the front door. It was a perfect match. Within a few minutes, the deal was reached and the paperwork completed. He was excited, I was impressed. By early December, I was more impressed with the ads for the 2014 Impala and worked the GM web Site to "build mine". When I was final on what I specifically wanted, I checked Inventory and found that Johnson Auto Plaza had it. I was in the area that afternoon and stopped by but it had not been delivered. When I got home, John M. called me and said it had just been delivered and to stop by to test drive it. The weather cleared in two days and I stopped by and test drove it. WOW! I was sold! it took just a few minutes to seal the deal and another few mintutes to finish the paper-work! It was a fast, easy and pleasant experience. Driving to Brighton is easier than driving across town and well worth it. I will definitely be back for my next purchase and will take my friends there! I can honestly recommend Johnson Automotive to you.Absolutely Impressive!

I arrived to check out the Jeep Wranger on an extremely bitter cold, snowy day. The car was running, heater… cranked, ready for my test drive. Almost everyone in the building said hello to me, my wife or my kids. After the test drive, the sales conversation was cordial and up-front. No high pressure stuff. They even gave coloring books to my boys to keep them occupied while I went over the numbers with my sales person, Rich. He took extra time to shop three different lenders to get me a better rate. That extra effort resulted in a lower rate...and lower payments for me. Then, once everything was done, I found Rich outside, in the same bitter cold, taking the license plates off my trade-in for me...helping me transfer belongings to my new Jeep. A+++++ experience. Really. This is how buying a car is supposed to be. Thank you guys! Oh...and BTW, I *LOVE* my Jeep!Won't go anywhere else!!!!

I live in Brighton and own my own business in Brighton. I knew I wanted to buy… local because that is what I want my customers to do for me. Johnson's Auto Plaza was the right choice for me. They offered up a deal that no one else could match and their service package is outstanding. Mr. Johnson gets 5 stars for that. Matt B. and Steve T were great to work with. I will definetly purchase my next vehicle and future vehicles from Johnsons Auto Plaza. Rich gave me a discounted phone quote, and even a low/high ball-park quote for my trade-in over… the phone. I drove for over an hour to get to the dealership, and was not disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised that the vehicle was as nice as it looked in the pictures. I also received the high-end of the phone-quoted trade-in value. There were no extra fees and the out-the-door bottom line was at or below the over the phone quote. The actual sales process was superb, I never expected that experience from a dealer, it was straight-forward and easy with NO numbers games or funny business. Rich was extremely helpful, answered all of my questions, and looked up the answers if he didn't know already. I would highly recommend shopping with this dealer, and will not hesitate to go back in the future.Johnsons treated me great, I would recommend them to anyone

This is one of the more relaxed/less pressure style dealers I've dealt with in a long time. After purchasing the vehicle,… even though I don't have a warranty they are standing by a few problems I've had and going to look at the vehicle and fix some issues for me. Overall, great dealer and customer service. I've purchased over 20 cars in my life and Johnson's stands out as one of the better dealers I've ever dealt with.
