    We are located in Steamboat Springs and saw a 2017 GMC on a used GMC website. We called Angie. She was able to quote us that day what we could get the truck for and even gave us a value for our trade-in when we texted her pictures. Angie texted a sales quote with the final figures. We went down to Brighton a couple of days later and finished the sale. Angie spent a lot of time going through all the bells and whistles the truck had. We were so pleased and completely enjoyed working with her. I recommend Angie for any of your car/truck needs!

    The (2) sales consultant that I work with have the most easy going demeanor that I have ever experienced in a new car sales setting. Saul and Angie are well grounded, and understand the business very well. EVERY deal I have worked with them at this dealership has been easy, quick, competitive, and they back it up with absolute courtesy and service. They make it so easy, that I will absolutely use them for any GM product in the future.

    I polled several GMC Dealers in Colorado about the new 2020 GMC's and everyone else said end of summer. When I called Johnson Auto Plaza, they actually were already trained and new they were in transit and would let me know when they arrived. They were good to their word and I received a call the day my truck arrived and while everyone wanted to corner this beauty, I was able to lock in a great deal and now everyone else will have to wait for the 2nd 2020 HD to arrive. They have a super knowledgeable and friendly staff and they just won a repeat customer!!

    I just went into the showroom and climbed around a brand new Jeep for 20 min and not one salesperson took the time to even say “hi”. 5 different salespeople walked by without welcoming us or offering to get someone to help. We bought a brand new truck from them 8months ago and was ready to buy another new vehicle. I even brought my paid off trade with me. Customer service is dying. I spend my money where I feel appreciated, like customers should.

    I want to start by saying thank you to Rich for making this purchase of my 2004 Jeep Wrangler the best and most hassle free dealership experience I’ve ever had! I found the Jeep online the day before and emailed Rich about it and he replied very quickly and we had the whole deal done through email so when I went in to sign it only took 20 minutes! I would highly recommend using these guys to anyone else who is purchasing a vehicle!

    I recently bought a 2018 Ram and it was by far the best experience i have ever had buying a car. Chris Harlan was wonderful to work with and catered to our every need and question. In addition to Chris, the process was wonderful and within 2 hours we had our car traded in and were out the door with a new truck which is astounding! I couldn't recommend Johnson's more!

    By far the best vehicle purchase experience ever. My wife and I are life long customers from now on. Olga, Dave and the rest of their team was so friendly and attentive. We showed up at 6pm after work and they kept the lights on until our deal was complete. We are so appreciative of their effort to make this an easy and memorable purchase.

    We sent an email on a used car to inquire late one evening and the internet team Rich/Chris got right back with me, had me set up with everything I needed to make a loan application that night. So when I went to the dealership all I had to do was test drive, look the car over, sign a couple minutes of paperwork and on my way I went with my new car! Fastest car purchase of all times for us!

    Both Rich and Chris in the internet department were great to work with. Knowledgeable and made buying a vehicle fun and easy. I would recommend Johnson Auto Plaza to anyone looking for a car. The inventory is amazing and searching online for a vehicle was super easy!

    i brought my car in for a mandatory safety recall. they had set the expectation numerous times during initial scheduling and when i dropped the vehicle off that it would take 3 hours. i waited 5 hours and called. they told me they'd need another 2-3 hours. this would have been fine if they would have set proper expectations but because they didn't, i ended up having to call into work. they didn't ask much as apologize for keeping my car triple the time they quoted.

    Rich Jeffers, Internet Sales Manager, was a pleasure to work with. We used Consumer Reports car buying service, and had THE best vehicle purchase exeperience. Ever. Less than two hours from the time we arrived to the time we drove out in our 2019 Tahoe.
  • Buyer Beware!!! Failed to disclose Hail Damage!!!

    I was assured that the used Avalanche I was interested in had no hail damage, one of their representatives told me that all hail damaged units are clearly marked, both on-line and on the lot. However on close inspection it was quite obvious that it was indeed dented all over the hood. The truck is white and was dirty as well, yet the dents were still clearly visible. If I could see them with my untrained eye, they certainly should have seen and disclosed it. Even though the truck was clearly damaged, the salesman admitted that he could see the dents too, they would barely reduce the price. The salesman actually said that the truck must have been damaged before they took possession of it, I don't believe for a second that any dealership would take possession of a clearly damaged vehicle without noticing it. Shop at Johnson's at your own risk, I have serious doubts about their integrity after this experience. I had heard good things about Johnson's, but after this I won't be back and certainly would not recommend them to anyone.

    Despite telling the salesman that I was sold an under-preforming truck by another dealership, I was sold a truck that still couldn't haul what I needed. After this was brought to their attention, I was blown off until I called to complain. When they found me a truck that would work, it was filthy on the inside, and the paperwork was done incorrectly, so now my husband and I have to jump through hoops just to get the license plates.

    We purchased a used 2013 Silverado from this dealership in April 2018. Not even 24 hours after we pulled off the lot, the check engine light came on for the O2 sensor and engine misfire. Took them a couple days to get in to servicing, kept the truck for a day, then returned it to us. 2 days later, the check engine light came on again for O2 sensor and engine misfire. We brought the truck back to be serviced AGAIN and spoke to the GM about our disappointment in the "inspection" they do on used cars before selling them. This time, we are told that one of the spark plugs was CRACKED IN HALF. How was this not caught the first time we took it in for servicing or through ANY of the inspections they do?? We don't believe they did ANY work on the truck the first visit and just cleared the code. We take the truck home after the GM assures us the issue is fixed and he has driven the truck himself to make sure there are no more issues. So we take the truck home once again and a few days later, the check engine light comes on AGAIN for multiple random misfires! At this point, we have lost all faith in the dealership and the GM (since at this point he is the primary one we are dealing with). We state we are bringing the truck back and do not want it anymore. Instead of reimburse us for our troubles, we spent $1,500 over the course of 3 weeks with only about 9 days of a working truck! Not to mention the driving back and forth to return and pick up the truck each time! We work very hard for our money and this dealership had no regard for our time, money and livelihood. Extremely disappointed in their business practices and would not recommend them to anyone until they get their Servicing and Used Car departments in order!

    I purchased my 1st car in 9 years 2 days ago and it was the most amazing experience I have ever had. While I didn't leave with the exact car that I wanted, I left with an fantastic deal and a car that I have already fell in love with. I did the pre-qual on the website and then talked to Rich Jeffers on the phone. He told me what cars he had that would work for my financial situation. I came by that night before the snow and took it for a test drive and just over an hour later I left with a brand new car! I would absolutely recommend this dealership and Rich to anyone looking for a new/used car. I loved that I wasn't judged or treated differently because I didn't have a 700+ credit score.
