by MaverickSean on 08/04/2024The dealership is small but beautiful. And the 1986 Oldsmobile pickup, yes, PICKUP in the showroom was fun to see. I'd never seen one before and can't even find one online. The staff was fantastic. Freddy was a perfect salesperson for… me in that, while I went in knowing exactly what I wanted, he took the time to explain the features and benefits of the entire car, which is saying something because the 2024 model had only been out for less than a month with completely different options than the 2023. He was amazing. Ron in Finance was equally patient in explaining options. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone.Thank you for your wonderful review! Randy Melendez - a real star at Thorson GMC

This all changed due to the expert sales guidance and… outstanding customer service from Randy Melendez. Randy's consistent care + guidance is the sole reason I am still a Thorson customer and now have a new 3 year lease on a 2024 Encore GX. by JediPastorYoda on 03/29/2017We found out from Anna in the Service Department who we needed to speak with. She recommended Gavin and we set up the appointment for Saturday morning at 9:00 am. When we arrived, Gavin introduced himself and apologized for over-extending… himself with other customers who had arrived for their appointment at the same time. Gavin went on to introduce us to Tony, the Sales Manager, who brought in Cody. Needless to say, Cody was EXCELLENT. Throughout our test drives and leasing process, Cody stayed right with us. Tony worked the numbers to bring us the best deal possible and even though we didn't get the deal we had hoped for, Tony worked out an amazing deal nonetheless. When we met with Gabriel in Finance, he walked us through the signing process seamlessly. All in all, WOW! what a great team at Thorson. I will not only recommend others to go to Thorson, but I'll go there again for my next GMC!Thank you for recognizing your experience at our store, Jeffrey. It was a busy afternoon at the dealership. Tracy, Ron and the sales manager (Wilfred I believe was his… name) took time out between other customers to show me and test driver the car. They were very friendly and apologetic ( due to being overwhelmed with customers) but were very helpful none the less. That being said, they were very professional and I ended up leasing the Encore that evening. I did not feel ignored nor pressured. I did not come in expecting on leaving with a new car, but I did. Your team was busy, but worked well together and impressed me enough to be driving a Buick today. I am hard to please, but I am happy customer. My hat is off to your team. Thank you.Quick Response

Finally - A No Pressure Car Buying Experience

Not pushy, no games, which was refreshing from an auto dealership. He related to us more like new… friends than numbers on a end of month sales sheet. When we wanted info, he had it. But we had time to explore the vehicle without a hard sell. Gabriel in finance was similarly approachable, unlike many in that position, who can be completely impersonal. It's the final step in a sale and other finance officers can make you feel like you're meeting the principal. Gabriel made the experience easy and comfortable. How car buying should be.Your kind words and fantastic star-rating are greatly appreciated! On 11/2/15, I arrived at Thorsen's at 8AM, told service rep., Ana, about several things I'd like checked on my Verano. John drove me to my appointment in… Pasadena. Ana phone at 11:15 to say car was ready. I asked Ana to please phone John, so I could get a ride back to Thorsen's. She did and John picked me up en route from his trip back to Thorsen's. I was on my way home before noon.Thank you for taking the time to write this great review. He took us for a test drive while explaiing features and answering all questions. No… pressure, just patience as he allowed us to make our final decision. He wasn't concerned with "making a sale," but wanted to truly help us find what worked best for our family and our needs. Not once did I… feel pressured to make a decision. He took time to go over all of the options and make sure we were comfortable with the SUV we chose. I am extremely happy with my experience, and would recommend my friends and family to work with Ash in the future!
