Best new car buying experience I've had. Andy Vuong was extremely helpful with information prior to coming to the dealership. No gimmicks after coming in for a test drive. No drama or added fees on the final invoice. Very thorough walk… through on the car's features. Excellent experience.

by gandp9 on 01/29/2014updated 06/12/2025I went to the Toyota Dealership in Irvine to test drive a Toyota Prius. I had called before going to schdule an appointment. I was met By Javier C. who showed me around and also accompanied me on my test drive. He was patient, honest and… courteous and was able to answer all my questions. He impressed me because he was the complete antithesis of a typical "greasy car slesman." As a female, I was prepared to have to defend myself against the onslaught of intelligence insulting tactics that they (car salesman) push on potential customers. When we sat down to talk about figures I was met by a floor manager who was a totally different story. Very typical, high pressure, off putting tactics, 'if you don't sign right now then this deal is off." I had taken an offer from Edmund which he did not initially want to honror. After I refused to back down, he hummed and hawed and finally agreed to more or less honor it. I was so totally put off by him and informed him that he could not pressure or intimidate me. I left. Aafter that, I visited many other dealerships and was met with excellent offers.. some even better than Toypta of Irvine... however, I decided to go back to the Irvine dealership for one reason and one reason alone, .... Javier C. I wanted him to have the commision. His honesty, patience and lack of pressure impressed me and made me want to return. He is an asset to the company. Not sure if they know it. For anyone, specially a woman, who is thinking of buying a Toyota, in S CA, I would suggest this particular salesperson and this particular dealership becasue of him! My car is one week old tomorrow.. so not much to say about the car just yet...Great experience!

Great and enjoyable experiences at Power Toyota Irvine

All are thanks to the great salesperson (J. Y.). He is very knowledgeable, patient with your questions and demands.… His dedication and great personality made the car buying process a good one. He stayed late, beyond working hours and went thru all the new car features one by one. As soon as we walked thru the front door, we were greeted by a courteous personnel. Then we were very lucky to deal with Mr Y. from the first emails exchanged til the meeting at the dealership. Therefore I strongly recommend this car dealership and especially Mr Jonathan Y. I was so pleased with the way I have been treated that I purchased my Toyota the same day.Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback! I talked to Abdul to confirm the car was in stock and price. I went in to the dealership that evening, Abdul takes us to see the car and… the it was over $5000 then the asking price advertise for on Autotrader. The add-on was never mention in the ad or disclose by Abdul the sales person. This tactic is unfair and form of fraud!Pleasant Experience

They handled both the lease termination of my old Prius and the leasing of a new one in a very… professional and efficient manner. I was in and out of the dealership in less than 2 hours. While I was familiar with all the features of the Prius, the technology had been enhanced over the past 3 years. Manny was very knowledgeable on the latest features. He brought me up to speed on the new audio equipment, paired my iPhone with the Bluetooth system and set up my subscription to the Entune app for Internet access. Friendly salesman, no pressure
by Jener on 05/21/2014updated 06/12/2025I moved from Brooklyn to California and needed a car. Before my move, I always had my heart set on buying a Prius so I visited AutoNation Toyota in Irvine. When my dad and I arrived at the dealership, we walked into the spacious showroom… and was greeted by a very friendly, soft-spoken man named Del. I told him I wanted to see the Prius and he took me to one on the showroom floor, spoke about the features, took a test drive and I loved the car even more so than I had imagined. They had a lot of options for color and models (I got the Two Model). Although my mind wanted to get the car immediately, I didn't. After speaking with Del about price, rebates, financing, etc, I wanted to go home and really think about it and if I could really afford it, and if I should buy or lease. I didn't feel any pressure from Del and when my dad and I left, I felt at ease and he sent us off with a smile. Del followed up with a call later that day thanking me for visiting the dealership, which I expected. The following day I decided to buy the car so I called Del. Del told me he was not working that day but he would have his colleague Javier assist me with the transaction. Del helped me work out a great deal and so when I came into the dealership again, it was all set. Javier was awesome too. Genuinely friendly with a good energy about him, same as Del. He was really knowledgeable about the Prius and it's features. After filling out paperwork and many signatures, the Prius was mine. This is only the second time I've ever bought a new car and I'm 37 years old. After my experience with this dealership I will continue to go back for future Toyota purchases. I will also recommend friends and family to get their Toyotas here. Ask for Del, he will take great care of you and you'll just feel good doing business with him. TIP: Go during the weekdays. There are less people and it's just a calmer, more relaxed environment.EXCELLENT SERVICE!

My lease experience

After many weekends hopping from dealer lot to dealer lot I finally got to speak with Brad. from the first day he was very helpful with all the aspects of our situation and… finally provided us with a very good deal based on our situation.I am very happy with my experience and would recommend Brad N. to anybody who is looking to buy or lease a Toyota.[non-permissible content removed] - 3 Strikes your out!

All the guy had to do was bring the car we wanted,… we had a check and just wanted that car. It took an hour and a half of waiting in the dealership with another guy that wasn't a salesman for us to finally feel it was time to leave(Wasted my time - strike 2). Then after stating 'they are hard to come by', he changed his story to 'we have three dealerships, I'm sure we could find one' (LIE - Strike 3). I'm just going to take my check to another dealership.Power Toyota Irvine - a good experience

Excellent Sales Experience

He even suffered 6 test drives in different cars as we settled in on what we needed. The financing was smooth and… the trade-in went through dispite some difficult circumstances. We left satisfied that the transaction was fair. The FJ Cruiser has been delightful. It rides really well, is spacious, and looks good. We need the 4wd for our rural vacation home but appreciate the good mileage around the city. Overall, we give Power Toyota in Irvive the best review, and the car highest praise.Great experience at Auto Nation Irvine
