I moved from Brooklyn to California and needed a car. Before my move, I always had my heart set on buying a Prius so I visited AutoNation Toyota in Irvine. When my dad and I arrived at the dealership, we walked into the spacious showroom and was greeted by a very friendly, soft-spoken man named Del. I told him I wanted to see the Prius and he took me to one on the showroom floor, spoke about the features, took a test drive and I loved the car even more so than I had imagined. They had a lot of options for color and models (I got the Two Model). Although my mind wanted to get the car immediately, I didn't. After speaking with Del about price, rebates, financing, etc, I wanted to go home and really think about it and if I could really afford it, and if I should buy or lease. I didn't feel any pressure from Del and when my dad and I left, I felt at ease and he sent us off with a smile. Del followed up with a call later that day thanking me for visiting the dealership, which I expected. The following day I decided to buy the car so I called Del. Del told me he was not working that day but he would have his colleague Javier assist me with the transaction. Del helped me work out a great deal and so when I came into the dealership again, it was all set. Javier was awesome too. Genuinely friendly with a good energy about him, same as Del. He was really knowledgeable about the Prius and it's features. After filling out paperwork and many signatures, the Prius was mine. This is only the second time I've ever bought a new car and I'm 37 years old. After my experience with this dealership I will continue to go back for future Toyota purchases. I will also recommend friends and family to get their Toyotas here. Ask for Del, he will take great care of you and you'll just feel good doing business with him. TIP: Go during the weekdays. There are less people and it's just a calmer, more relaxed environment.
