AutoNation Toyota Irvine

I went to the Toyota Dealership in Irvine to test drive a Toyota Prius. I had called before going to schdule an appointment. I was met By Javier C. who showed me around and also accompanied me on my test drive. He was patient, honest and courteous and was able to answer all my questions. He impressed me because he was the complete antithesis of a typical "greasy car slesman." As a female, I was prepared to have to defend myself against the onslaught of intelligence insulting tactics that they (car salesman) push on potential customers. When we sat down to talk about figures I was met by a floor manager who was a totally different story. Very typical, high pressure, off putting tactics, 'if you don't sign right now then this deal is off." I had taken an offer from Edmund which he did not initially want to honror. After I refused to back down, he hummed and hawed and finally agreed to more or less honor it. I was so totally put off by him and informed him that he could not pressure or intimidate me. I left. Aafter that, I visited many other dealerships and was met with excellent offers.. some even better than Toypta of Irvine... however, I decided to go back to the Irvine dealership for one reason and one reason alone, .... Javier C. I wanted him to have the commision. His honesty, patience and lack of pressure impressed me and made me want to return. He is an asset to the company. Not sure if they know it. For anyone, specially a woman, who is thinking of buying a Toyota, in S CA, I would suggest this particular salesperson and this particular dealership becasue of him! My car is one week old tomorrow.. so not much to say about the car just yet...
