Safety Recall and Service on 2022 GMC2500HD
by BigKahuna52 on 04/28/2025We had a safety recall for my truck's tailgate. I also wanted to get my tires rotated. I needed to drop off my truck on a Sunday for a quick trip out of town. That was accomplished with no issues. All work was done to my satisfaction… and the Service Department also checked another issue that I had a question on.Poor service
by poorgmc on 03/16/2025$105,000 truck with 900 miles brought in for ecom parts installation worth over $5,000. Two parts installed incorrectly. Missing plastic trim piece inside cab area. Truck given back to me with a non-working tail light/turn signal assembly.… Truck also completely dirty. Truck was brought back for second round of repairs and given back to me with one one of the two issues resolved. by Terrain on 05/16/2021Usually satisfied with service that I receive but this time they didn't reset tires after rotation and a new sensor showed up that I had never seen in the 10 yrs of owning the vehicle. I believe that is why they call them sensors. Other… wise good job.We appreciate you for letting others know about your experience! First Oil Change

Rick was so accommodating to my pickiness and my need for quick service. I love this dealer to the point where… I drive to Phoenix from California when my car needs service. Their service bay is very large and comfortable which I believe makes a good working… environment for the techs. Service advisor is very smart and helpful. First class operation.Happy Camper

by GEC6 on 06/09/2015We always contact Jim Sepe , our service advisor when we have a problem with our SUV or need to have service. Jim is honest, always helpful and we trust him. The Service Dept. does excellent work and we go to Liberty over closer Dealerships… because of the excellent work that they do.Everyone in the dept is great!Never Again
by akothe on 05/28/2015Bought a used vehicle from them and within 2 months of owning it had to take it back for the same problem 3 times. All they did was they and put a band aid on the problem. I had taken the vehicle to another dealership to have the problem… looked at and was told what needed to be done, I went back the Liberty GMC shared with them the info as was told that I was on my own. I had to contact the customer relations person there to see if they could help. I was told to bring it in once again so they could look at it. They keep it for 2 days this time, I was told that the service manager and the head service tech was going to look at the problem this time. All they did to address the problem was the same thing they did the following 3 times. I received a call the next day telling me the service manager and tech didn't look at it and they wanted me to bring it back down. When you pay close to 30K for a vehicle that has less than 36,000 miles on it you don't expect have to dumping money into it right away. I had heard great things regarding Liberty but will never go their again and well tell everybody I know that they don't stand behind what they sell and their customers.Excellent service and professional staff

by billp22 on 04/01/2015Steve O. is "The Service Guy". I have been doing business with Steve since 2005 (Yes, we just started our 10th year together.). His MO is Always the same. His greeting is friendly, he listens as though you and your vehicle are very… important, he pays attention to what you say and asks very pointed clarification questions to be sure he understands your descriptions and explanations and then he tells you straight what the possibilities are. He has Never surprised me with anything after the service has started. He is way more concerned about answering your questions than about getting his answered. I know that he will retire one day, and on that day Liberty GMC will suffer huge loss. Until that day, he is My Service Guy. Thank You Very Much, Steve. by cdfs on 02/01/2015I came in to change oil and replace the passenger side daytime headlight and the wipers at 3:00 pm on my CTS. After about an hour Sam came to me and said unfortunately the bulb had melted the fixture which would need to be replaced. This… would need some rewiring and they couldn't get it finished today and the labor would unfortunately be about $250. He immediately offered me a loaner which turned out to be this amazing brand new red truck with 8 miles on it. The back office went to work on the paperwork, Sam collected my insurance from the car and I was away in a few minutes. I really enjoyed my all too short drive and at 11:45 the next day Sam called me to say my car was ready.Car problems made easy

My vehicle is used and needed a few maintenance items done. Jessica was able to provide me with a loaner vehicle… but also had my car done prior to the finish date. Jessica always treats me like a valued customer even in the time of need.Great First Experience
by stacaz on 11/13/2014I just happened to find Sam G. while visiting the service department to have a key made. Our sales person promised us one free of charge, since the vehicle only came with one key and one remote. Well, this wasn't quite enough for Sam! Not… only did he honor my time commitment when I dropped in without an appointment and had somewhere to be in an hour, but he also found a remote that would work for our new vehicle as well - now that is a small touch that meant so much to me. We will be asking for Sam to manage all of our service needs from now on. Thank you, Sam.Still the worst service
by cruiser13 on 08/16/2010My 08 Solstice had it's trunk jammed shut, and I needed some documents that were locked in it. I went to these guys since they were close. The jammed trunk is a common problem, and a TSB was issued to dealers telling them how to open it.… I went to the service department, and explained my problem. They looked bewildered, and said there was no quick fix to get the trunk opened, and I would have to leave it for an undetermined time, at least for the rest of the day. Not able to do that, I left and found the answer from the TSB. Simply take a cotter pin puller, insert it in the latch and twist. It pops open. Less than a 1 minute effort to open the trunk. As a GM dealer, and a former Pontiac dealer who sold us one of our two Solstices, they should have known about this TSB. Their total lack of interest or concern verifies what we decided some time ago. Never go back to them under any circumstances.
