by THAC024 on 08/29/2024updated 09/05/2024Effortless. No haggling. Freedom to drive the cars without someone over my shoulder.Happy with the vehicle I purchased and the salesman
by nixon59 on 07/24/2024I'm extremely happy with my salesman. He helped me out tremendously. Where I have an issue with Henry Brown GMC is with the [non-permissible content removed] financial advisor. who added in charges on my vehicle that I don't think were… necessary. When I looked at the build sheet, it already had tint on the on the windows and yet I got charged an extra $500 for that. Then I got charged an extra $1400+. for something else. that I have no idea what it is. It says it's on an addendum that I've never ever seen the addendum.Great dealership

by ndngabe74@ on 06/14/2023I went there for an oil change. When I got home the oil filter was leaking out oil. I checked my oil dip stick and IT WAS DRY!! I have a 2021 silverado with only 36k miles. This would have really ruined my truck and killed my engine. Not consistent
by Mmenger on 06/06/2021I have taken my car multiple times to Henry Brown Buick. The last time I took it there for an oil change they said I needed to consider brakes. This time I took it there for an oil change (I hadn’t done anything to the brakes) and they… didn’t say anything about my brakes being bad but this time I needed to replace my struts. We said something to the rep that checked us out and were told the rep would talk to the service person and get back to us. It has been three weeks and we still haven’t heard from anyone.Service department
by Andrea2020 on 11/25/2020I went in to have an oil change. They let me know there were some things on my 2017 gmc Acadia that needed to be changed. I agreed with two of the services due to it being overdue. However, my car has sensors for everything and I also… have onstar which alerts me when anything in my car needs to be taken care of. So when they said my car battery was bad and needed to be changed it was a shock. First of all my on star service didn't alert me, and I have the capability to look on my dash to see the voltage of my battery which was 14 volts and only needs 12 volts. I turned the battery down and said not at this time just to change the oil. I went ahead and took it to auto zone just to be sure I didn't need a battery for my car. They did the test and said my car battery was very good and I did not need a new battery. They apologized for the dealership wanting to sell me a car battery when in fact I never needed one. Was very disappointed with them for telling me this. I have never been treated like this before ever. How sad. I will not trust them with anything now. Always get a second opinion!!!!!!Shady Dealings
by Shady Dealings on 09/28/2020If I could give this dealer zero stars I would. Never buy a car from Henry Brown. They lie and cheat and do not disclose critical information about the car you are buying. After finding out about the problem they now refuse to do anything… about it stating "this is normal". Sorry but when a car does not work in temperatures over 100 degrees and they sell you this car in Arizona where temperatures are over 100 degrees almost half the year, that is fraud. They knew this issue existed and did not disclose this information before selling the car and now refuse to solve the problem. The only response I can get from them is to contact Buick. Well they sold me the car, they lied, they refuse to help. So the Henry Brown dealership is the problem here. If you plan to purchase a new car whether it be a Buick or not, you need to find another dealership. Do not, I repeat do not go to Henry Brown.Internet Department- Good work

by corinaa2002 on 05/15/2018updated 05/24/2018I drive the extra miles to take my truck here as they are much more proactive and thorough than the one closer to me (Earnhardt GMC). They also give you free car wash voucher which others don’t seem to out here (I moved to AZ from TX).Henry Brown Customer Review

Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and did all they could to find our perfect Yukon. We will absolutely recommend Henry… Brown to all of our friends and family! So friendly and genuine
by Lanimclanerson on 05/08/2018The car buying process is never usually fun, but I felt like family buying a car from Henry Brown! All the salespeople were friendly, even the ones I wasn't working with. And the my finance person explained everything in detail to me.… Overall it was a very pleasant experience.Thank you for being a true honest new vehicle store
by allenmichaels on 10/27/2010I wanted you voice my buying experience yesterday at Henry brown in Gilbert. It was by far the best new vehicle purchase I have ever made. Keep in mind this wasn't the first new truck I have ever bought. This one makes number 12. No games,… no gimmicks just give me the out the door numbers. This is the way I do business and I found that there are still good old family ran car dealerships that work that way as well. Thanks and keep up the good work!Stay Clear of the Henry Brown Service Department
by diesel25 on 06/17/2010Several very disappointing service experiences. The latest with a mystery diesel fuel leak requiring several trips to service, and a mess in my driveway... still with no resolution. Three minutes at another dealership's service department… and the problem was diagnosed and repaired. To add insult to injury, the vehicle is always returned to me dirty with grease marks left behind from the technicians that worked on it. Isn't Henry Brown part of a larger company named General Motors that is trying to regain market share? You guys still have a lot to learn about Customer Service.Finest Dealership I ever experianced.
by ride56pro on 12/11/2009I have bought 8 trucks and cars throughout my life all of which have been from different dealership. 7 out of 8 Dealers have had hidden, shady acts of greed and lies. This had harden my emotions and I have aquired skills so I can combat… with a salesman and his or her arsenal of comrades that would hit me with ever trick in the book. When I got to Henry Brown to look and hopefully purchase a New Truck, I was ready for combat. I was wrong and sceptical throughout the entire sale. I found a Used GMC Sierra online and called Henry Brown, they have sold the truck already end of conversation. Two days later the sames salesman, Mike Denny called me and said he had another used truck just came in as a trade in and if I was interested to come on by if I dont mind seeing the used vechicle prior to having Henry Brown prep-work done for the public. (Gold Star 1 for letting me view the vechicle in a original owner state.) I view in in a piss poor condition. I was able to note minor repairs needed from a scatch in the tint to Universal Joint Boots needing to be replaced, Door seal ripped and dirty all around. Henry Brown wanted more than what i was willing to pay of course. I named my price and peacefully was able with out presure to walk away from the truck. (Gold Star #2) I drove home and within hours later I get a call from Mike, My first out the door price I wanted said it can be done. I drove back and got the truck with tags, taxes, tire tax, license fees, title fees, and the sticker price out the door for what I was asking. (Gold Star #3) During the excitement of the purchase I have forgotten the oh by the way I want the I owe you on tint repairs, door seal, UV boots, lube and oil change. I didnt remember till I got home. I didnt have documents on Henry Brown oweing me the repairs. I called and spoke to my salesman Mike Denny to remind him our verbal agreement and sure enough he remembered and said call our service department and they will set you up. So I called the service department and got no push back and they were already aware of the repairs. Mr. Meade took my truck and returned it in a condition as I expected. (GOLD STAR#4) 3 weeks later the door seal that had a minor cut in it just got repaired by a service tech who drove to my house and replaced the entire seal in 10minutes. No haggle and was down to earth guy. I could have got it repaired sooner but they worked with my schedule even when I missed my appointment and forgot to call the service department back. (GOLD STAR #5) Today from here on out. Im will for the first time go back a Dealer (Henry Brown) and buy another vechicle from them knowing I was treated like a friend. The people at Henry Brown were down to earth people that didnt make you feel stupid, nor slip you any tricks. I recommend this dealer and it's service department.Worst Dealer Ever
by upsetbuyer on 09/04/2009We were looking around online and found a 2009 Scion Xb with low miles on "sale" for $13891.00 which we thought was very fair. I called the dealership (Henry Brown) and spoke with a new car salesman. I found out the vehicle was still on the… lot and that the internet price was correct. I ended up having them run my credit over the phone and we starting some negotiations. I told the salesperson more than 3 times that I did not want to put any money down, that I had a specific range for my monthly payment and that my payments were not to exceed 60, and that I had a trade in that had been valued by Kbb at X dollar amount. They called me back about 10 minutes after checking my credit and informed me that if I came down and they checked out the car they could for sure get the payments where I needed them without a down payment and with my trade in. I showed up at the dealership and test drove the Scion Xb and told them I would like to purchase it, they visually glanced at my car that I was trading in and we went inside. FORTY-FIVE minutes later they came out with their "best" offer. (Remember, we discussed ALL of this on the phone.) They stated that the best deal they could give me was.....$43,000.00 TOTAL. FORTY-THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS for a Scion Xb that was stickered at LESS THAN 14k. This was their deal: 72 payments (not 60) at $569.00 a month. $3000.00 dollars down (remember, I stated NO down payment) $4200.00 dollars for my trade in (Kbb valued at 7222.00 trade in rated in worse than actual condition). So their you have their BEST deal. Again, FORTY-THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS AND CHANGE on a 2009 USED Scion Xb that retails NEW for 16,000. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! I have never been that upset or offended before.Spot Delivery Dealers - Beware
by obx on 02/03/2008Went in to purchase a new SUV last week. We have signed papers and drove the car home. A week later we received a phone call stating that we needed to come in and sign new papers because our interest rate had gone up. We have asked the… financing guy how could have they let us taken the car home if the loan wasn't 100% approved. He said "it happens all the time, I mean it doesn't happen all the time. Out of 305 deals we do a month it only happens to 3" Which one is it, it happens all the time or it doesn't? We just ended up returning the vehicle as we sure don't want to do business with dealers who mislead consumer into purchasing their vehicles. I believe that's called "consumer fraud" according to Arizona Revised Statutes. If you do plan to purchase from this dealer, please make sure you have 100% approval and refuse to take the vehicle otherwise.Great Dealership to work with
by carman007 on 03/16/2011updated 05/31/2025Henry Brown Buick GMC is nothing but one classy, over the top dealership. From the time I pulled on to there lot everyone treated me great. I have never had a better time buying a new vehicle. The salesmen were not pushy and the store looks… like its brand new. I just moved to Phoenix and found most of the dealerships were only out for the quick sale and really didn't care about me. Jim Avise was my salesmen and hope this review can send him more business. Thank you Jim and Henry Brown!Dishonest incompetent [non-permissible content removed]
by vn15 on 06/03/2013updated 05/31/2025I took my 2011 Sierra to Henry Brown GMC in Gilbert, AZ for a what should of been a simple oil change, tire rotation, and alignment for an upcoming road trip. The alignment was slightly pulling to the right, so because of the long trip… ahead I thought a simple adjustment would be needed. I had a 10 o’clock appointment set with Joe S. I had no problem waiting close to three hours for the work to be completed. This is where the lies and deceit start. My original service writer Joe was at lunch so Steve B. comes and tells me that my truck is done. I pay the invoice and as he walks me out to my truck I ask him about the alignment and he tells me nothing is wrong with the alignment and the mechanic says when I get the tires rotated again the truck will pull to the right again because one tire has a radial pull. I ask him “why are you letting me go and not taking care of the problem”?. We go back inside and I ask him to get me the alignment printout spec sheet. He comes back with a b.s. excuse why he can’t get it. Can’t recall exactly what he said, but it was something stupid! At this time Joe comes back from lunch and takes over saying I need a new tire and it would be prorated since the truck only had 16,295 miles. I ask him to get me the alignment printout since Steve couldn’t get it and tells me sure I can get it because the information is saved incase a customer comes back saying the alignment is still off and they could prove that it’s GM specs. Sounds about right to me. He comes back and says he can’t get it because the mechanic had another vehicle on the machine and once that happens it erases all previous data. WOW… just after telling me what he did, the machine now magically erases the previous information. Wanting to get this over with, I pay the over inflated prorated price for the tire that came out to be $81 and some change. (Same tire at Discount Tire cost $106 and on Henry Browns website says $172.69). But I was required to pay 41% of $200 and change. As I drive home I notice it still pulls to the right and as I pull into my community the tire warning system light comes on. I call Joe and leave a message. I get a call from some mobile tech saying he will come over and take care of it. I say fine but then call him back and tell him not to cause I’m going back to the dealer. I get back to the dealer and ask for the service manager and get Jeff M. I tell him everything that has happened and ask him to get the alignment printout. He says he could but it won’t have my vehicle information on it and then comes back saying he can’t cause it’s erased. Another [non-permissible content removed] like the rest of them…great! I tell him these machines don’t erase the info and ask why wouldn’t the mechanic enter the vehicle info? How are you going to know what info belongs to which vehicle? He tells me that he instructs the mechanics to not enter the information. How ignorant is that? He asks me to leave the truck and he will have it taken care of by tomorrow. The next day I go back at noon, I had not received a call yet and the service center opened at 7:00AM they have now replaced another tire and refunded me for the first tire and put 40 miles worth of test drives on my truck. Jeff and I take it for a test drive and now it slightly favors the left side and now has an additional problem. He says that they had to adjust it out of GM specs to get it like that. This is all happening from something that should have been a simple alignment adjustment if they would of just done the alignment from the start, which I believe they didn’t do. Jeff did give me a printout today with the wrong vehicle information at the top, a Chevy Silverado with a different wheelbase. He said he’d contact GM with the spec info and see what they could do. My wife contacted GM the first day this happened and was told they would find out what’s going on and contact us back the following day… It’s been 4 days now and not a peep from GM or Jeff M from Henry Brown GMC. GM AND HENRY BROWN GMC have no morals or integrity, just a incompetent lying company with incompetent [non-permissible content removed] employees (maybe not all, but all the ones I dealt with). Due to this experience, I now do not own and will never own a GM vehicle again. I will make this a family tradition.
