I called the finance manager I dealt with and she starts talking about something else. Poor communication. I was sent home without zero… paperwork. 5 days later my check engine light came on and I had to return for service and they had my car for 4 days. What a joke. DO NOT BUY for AutoNation!Fantastic Purchasing Experience!

I dealt with the Fleet Manager who basically had the deal ready for us when my wife and I went in to look at the truck, that was… including my trade in. I traded a 2015 Silverado and I can say the buying experience from the last dealer to Auto Nation was night and day. I added on several options the truck did not have and he helped me through it and facilitated the process. I made the appointment a week before and had a confirmation email that stated who my advisor was and the work I was having done. I get there on the day of my… appointment and to find out that my advisor has now changed. According to the guy that helped me he stated that my advisor changed and he was busy rebooting his computer and it would be awhile. I asked if someone else could help me and he stated, "let me check." A few minutes later a man walked out, didn't introduce himself to me but just asked what the phone number was to call me when it was completed. I asked how long it would take, he stated probably an hour or so. An hour and a half had gone by and had not heard anything so I called to find out. I requested to have the service shuttle pick me up. It was 11 am when I called and they said someone would be there shortly. I waited over 30 minutes before I called back and they told me they were going to get ahold of the driver and let me know. Another 15-20 minutes go by and still no phone call. I called back to where a "snooty" female answers the phone and states oh well I couldn't get ahold of the driver. I asked, "so you just weren't going to let me know and keep me waiting?" She stated she would call him again and I left my phone with her to call me back when she knew. Never received the phone call because another 20 minutes goes by to where I called back 3 times and wad placed on hold all 3 times. I finally call a 4 time and the girl asked me to hold, I stated "NO" I would not hold and I told her someone needed to do something. I had now been waiting over an hour for this ride to come pick me up. Finally one of the service runners came to pick me up, Lindsay, and she was nice. She apologized for the inconvenience and the poor service I received. I stated it wasn't her fault at all. Once I got to the dealership and got out of the other vehicle, there were 3 people standing outside and I was just standing there. Nobody said a word to me. Some blonde lady was standing outside and looked at me twice before I finally asked where Jeff, my service advisor was. She stated he was inside at his desk. We walk in and I see a man lounging in his chair on the phone with papers covering his desk. She asked about my vehicle and where the keys were, he stated at the front. I followed her to the front to the service cashier to where she was rummaging through papers because she couldn't find my paperwork or keys. Finally found them and started to ring me up, she asked for my signature. I reviewed the paperwork and advised her the price was wrong because when I scheduled the appointment I told them I had a service email with a discount. She rudely stated, " well did you tell your advisor when you got here," I stated, "No I told them when I scheduled the appointment. She said "well that's just more paperwork." She had a crappy attitude and we went back to my advisors desk, to where he was still lounged back in his chair on the phone. He did the discount and we walked back to the cashier. The cashier printed new paperwork and asked for my signatures again, and then lost my keys again. Again found them on the counter and I took possession of them. The lady gave me my paperwork and didn't say so much as thank you or even I am sorry for all the confusion. Mind you the cashier was the same lady that saw me outside and said nothing to me. She was an older short blonde bigger lady that was snooty the during our interaction. She could use some interpersonal skills. My husband and I have been to this dealership before and I bought my car there last year but after this experience, never again will I ever go here for any reason. I will also tell my family and friends not to go there. I have also posted reviews on all the major car websites. I have heard that nobody has a good experience in the service department. Maybe the company should hire more competent and friendly people. I am the customer and the customer never waits or to be treated like crap.Chevy Equinox Cam Sensor

My service provider told me just that. I decided to hangout and get caught up on some work emails and eat a… complimentary doughnut. It wasn't two hours later I was wrapping up my work items and I was approached about my vehicle being buttoned up ready to go and even washed. Great service! Thanks again!Champion

I was treated like a friend the first moment I walked in the door and wasn't made to feel… uncomfortable even once during my visit. Dwayne Champion was my salesman and once describing what I wanted out of my cat he was able to give me the best one for my price range, and set of needs with ease. I definitely recommend this dealership (and salesman) to buy your next car.GREAT SERVICE!

My build sheet was done in December 2015 and I was expecting my vehicle approximately March/April 2016. Through… a series of miscommunications (not all on GM) I was left with the prospect of not getting my vehicle at all. GM Corporate (Pete L) stepped up as did the management staff (Randy at Autonation Gilbert) and completely turned the outcome around. I have my vehicle and while it is not the 2016 I ordered, I do have the new 2017 model which is the 50th anniversary year for Camaro. It's beautiful and powerful and everything I expected and hoped for. I cannot thank you all enough for the special care and attention you have given me to restore my faith in GM.horrible service
by shawnamadrid on 07/20/2016we have taken our car in since we bought it for over a year now at least six times and gotten different prognosis each time. we got the extended warranty for the vehicle,since day one our car has had the same problem the warranty only… covered certain things,we did research and some of the parts were recalls or problematic we are asking GM to please look into this. we still need a part that is not covered under the warranty but at the time was covered by the original warranty but now we have exceeded mileage. If they would of told us from the beginning when we bought the car we would have never bought the car and we have had nothing but problems and nothing but run around from auto nation chevy.Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. by MJS1982 on 12/15/2015I bought a showroom 2015 corvette 7 months ago from the sales manager himself. Since then, I've taken my car in 6 times for warranty issues, the latest being today. Upon dropping it off, I was given a loaner car (Chevy Malibu). I… give them a corvette, they give me a Malibu, but anyways....I also have a grand Cherokee that I've been looking to trade in to get a pickup truck. So while I waited for my vette to be done, I went shopping to other dealerships for a pickup truck. When I took the Malibu back to pick up the exact same corvette that I bought from this dealership, the sales manager said to me "let's just do us both a favor and bring your car somewhere else from now on." So I was told to bring my car to a dealership other than the one I bought it from and further from my house. He ended it by stating "Have a nice life." So as soon as I left, I called Chevrolet customer service to file a complaint, who told me that they would forward the complaint to the dealership and have them handle it directly. I asked if that was appropriate since the dealership will obviously be biased on behalf of their employee and was told that I was correct. This is not the first issue that I've had with this particular dealership's service. Several times I've spoke with customers who were waiting for their vehicles and also are not happy with them. Bottom line is.....choose a different dealership, don't buy a Chevy since their customer service does nothing for you, and don't buy a corvette since mine has had nothing but problems since the day I took possession. This dealership has been a nightmare to deal with and so has my car. Stay away from Autonation Chevrolet in Gilbert.Simply the Best!

by Not_from_AZ on 04/23/2015From the beginning of my car-buying experience, I felt that this was the salesman's first car sale. He was inexperienced, gave incorrect information, and seemed very unsure of himself. I never met him face-to-face as my dealings with him… were all on the phone. I was able to get the price I wanted for a sure sale. When I did go to pick up my car, he wasn't there. The entirety of the purchase was performed by another salesman (thankfully he was quite knowledgeable). The first salesman had 'prepared' for my visit by locking the keys and manual in his desk drawer. Thus, new keys had to be programmed to that vehicle (which the new salesman thought took over 45 minutes but, in face, would have only taken a couple of minutes. There was one problem after another after another, and we spent a total of 6 1/2 hours in the dealership. When we finally got home (one hour away), we realized there were NO PLATES on the car. The first salesman had to be convinced to drive them out to us (he wanted me to return to the dealership - but you can't legally drive without plates!). He also gave us the original keys to the vehicle (the ones that had been in his desk) but those keys don't work since the new keys had to be programmed to that vehicle. I did buy an extended warranty on the vehicle. I sincerely hope there's not a problem using that, if the time comes... Time will tell.2015 Chevrolet 2500HD Purchase

Once agreed the purchase went off without a hitch and the finace officer Joe White… forund a persentage that was bette than my credit union. As luck would have it, I got Joe White for my sales guy. I already had my financing, and some less than stellar… trade-ins now I just needed to find something that would fit my needs in a car and financial restrictions.
