Recalls can be worth it
by jjofaz# on 03/10/2023My Rouge needed to have its Wire Harness inspected due to a recall. When I took it in to Nissan, there was someone there was Patrick to greet me w/o waiting. He said the job would take about an hour and I waited in their room which was… spacious and clean. The work was completed in that hour and my car came back pristine clean. Very misleading, overcharged
by myname2023 on 02/12/2023Brought my vehicle in for a 65k service. Service rep decided the vehicle didn’t need a 65k service and charged an arm and a leg for an oil change and tire rotation instead - which were part of the 65k service. No other portion of the… requested 65k service was completed. Was NOT upfront with pricing, quote kept changing. She did not even know what work was actually performed as she tried to upsell me more services. No transparency in costs for anything until they performed services and THEN she gave a price breakdown. Charged over $150 in labor fees for a ten minute fix - but due to her lack of breaking down the price, I had no idea the service fee was 3x’s the part price - would have NEVER agreed to that service. She threw out huge numbers like a recommended $800 service, and then threw some other numbers and figures out - seemed like a shock and awe campaign to throw me off my game. Very difficult to make head or tails of what she was describing. She gave conflicting information. No prices listed anywhere (online or inside business). I felt like she was making things up as she went and using extremely poor communication methods just to boost her sales. I 100% felt like she was just trying to make money off us. I’ve never had a dealership act this way. Worst experience at a dealership EVER. I will never return to this dealership based on this experience. Now I am out over $400 when the same services would have cost me less than half that elsewhere. I specifically brought me vehicle to what I thought was a reputable dealership to avoid this kind of dishonesty - very disappointed. She even tried to sell me tires after all this chaos!Hi, we are deeply disappointed by your experience at AutoNation Nissan Chandler. AutoNation Nissan in Chandler made process to buy so easy
by Roger H on 01/31/2023I purchased a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder SL 4 wheel drive with Premium Package. It was so simple, so easy to come to terms on specifics of the Pathfinder, options/accessories, trade-in value and final “complete out the door price.” The entire… process took 10 minutes and the deal was done. So much thanks to Max Harmon, Sales Manager at AutoNation Chandler. He was so cool, efficient, and easy to work with. 10 minutes and done. I was at another nearby Nissan Dealer for an hour and a half trying to get a deal done on a Pathfinder SL and this particular dealer pushed hard to upsell me a Pathfinder Platinum that I did not want. And, this competing Nissan dealership was not even close on out the door final price who insisted on adding several thousands of dollars of unwanted and unnecessary accessories. The process at the other dealership was frustrating and a bit upsetting. My daughter bought a vehicle from AutoNation a year ago. And, once again, the process was so simple and easy for her as she bought her first new car (without the help of “Dad”). Lastly, as a fan of IndyCar, AutoNation is a big corporate sponsor of IndyCar and the Indy 500. I appreciate AutoNation’s support of IndyCar. Likewise, I appreciate Nissan’s support of College Football and the Heisman Trophy - “Heisman House.”Hi Roger, we set high expectations for ourselves so it’s gratifying to hear you had a great experience with us. A great day at the service department

However, the new system the AutoNation has in regards to booking appointments and reaching out and contacting service. Members is absolutely horrible! AutoNation Chandler is the… worst. Tried for three days to get a service appointment could never get through to anyone. Tried calling AutoNation Gilbert multiple times to reach Pat and continually was directed to a different service person or no one at all.
