  • A no Hassle, friendly, as advertised experience

    Of all the cars we have bought (15) this was our best experience at a dealership. We started this process with an e-mail then a phone call with our salesman, Justin. We were picky with what we wanted in a new truck and Justin told us it would be hard to find. Two days later we received pictures of exactly what we were looking for. At the dealership Justin greeted us and insisted we take the truck for a test drive to be sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. From there everyone we dealt with were both professional and very friendly. Steve from Finance and Mike who had the job of doing all the finance paperwork were both open, friendly and at time humorous. Like I said this is the best buyin

    We went in at the end of the big Labor Day sales event, should have gone in sooner. I was first looking at one particular model but found another model we liked better but it was sold and we decided the second model was what we wanted. Because they had such a big weekend with sales they didn't have any similar models. They were also giving us top dollar for our trade. Because we decided not to take our first choice and not buy at this time, there was no pressure to buy at this time. Our sales person, Arthur Badowski and his sales manager were understanding and that made us feel very comfortable. This is the non-commission sales that should be the way other dealers use. When the time comes, we will be heading back to Larry Miller Dodge / Ram Avondale. Thank you for all you help.

    I have to say, this was my first car buying experience and it was truly wonderful. Allen was so great. I test drove a Charger then a few weeks later I was driving one home. There was never any pressure. He didn't call and harass me or my husband at any time. He also was very patient with my indecisiveness. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone. I will be sure to have many customers headed their way! Service department rocks too, very tedious honest and professional.     This has been my second dodge purchased from this dealership and I was very pleased with both. My usual opinion of dealerships probably shouldn't be typed out here because it might get the review deleted but my salesperson on both occasions, Arthur, was extremely professional, knowledgeable and best of all honest in his dealings with me. I did my research prior to coming in and I know I walked out with great deals on both occasions and I'll be coming back to see him for my next purchase as well.

    I am writing this review because of my wonderful experience at Larry Miller Dodge in Avondale. Not only was the PERFECT car there in the showroom waiting for me to buy, but my salesman was fantastic to work with. The connection started with a phone call and Charlie Favreau picked up. We had spoken about a car that I found at your location on the computer. We worked out some preliminary numbers, and my wife and I drove ACROSS TOWN to meet him, as well as see the car. To make a long story short, the car was perfect, Charlie and the sales team were able to make the numbers work, and we drove off in a new car. Charlie's attitude was outstanding and he was also extremely educational with the vehicle that we had bought. Overall, wonderful experience, from sales to financing.

  • Bait and Switch

    RUN RUN FAST AS YOU CAN! "You haven't figured out we aren't repairing your truck by now" AJ DAVEY Larry H Miller Dodge Avondale, AZ First my tires bed liner and tint werent included in the sale even tho they r on the truck. Then they tried to pull a contract switch on me and my husband, making the price higher. Then the Extended Warranty. I have waited since Aug 2015 for warranty work and 2 Recalls. Only to be told in January 2016 by AJ Davey "you haven't figured out we aren't repairing your truck by now" thanks for no service! Truck stays in first gear sometimes, window leaking so they fixed only they didnt make sure my third brake light works. So now I have no third brake light and they wont even fix their mistake. 2 Recalls and lots more headliner outside trim backdoor handle. Extended Warranty purchased but they wont do any of it. RUN RUN FAST AS YOU CAN

    Beware. Do not buy from this dealership. I bought a used car for $15k, so I figured after sales tax and licensing it would be about $17k. Well low and behold, Larry Miller jacked up the price to "$24k." on a car that's not even worth half of that. Also, the loan officer who handled my deal "falsified" my income in order to get me financed. She doubled what I normally make. They're a greedy dealership, they're dishonest, and I would not recommend that anyone deal with them. I contacted 3 on your side, and I'm hoping they do a story on this!

    First off I have to say thank you to my sales guy...John Robison! It was a pure pleasure doing business with you! John was knowledgeable, took the time to show me all the features and the full potential of my new Dodge Challenger SRT8 Plus...this was not only during the buying and test drive, he also did another full run thru of all the features after I had bought the car. John also was a great asset during the negotiation process, he went to bat for me during my transaction, which was somewhat complicated as I was trading in 2 vehicles. He helped me get a fair trade in price for my vehicles, while also helping me in getting a fair price for my new car!! Avondale Dodge is the place to buy a car in the valley...they had the lowest tax rate, and they also do not pay their sales staff comission, so this eliminates that dreaded hard core sales pressure that all other new car lots seem to give customers! John Robison truly knows what it means to provide stellar customer care while being a consultative sales person! He has all of his customers backs!! Thank you John and Avondale Dodge!

    I worked with Arthur Badowski for the purchase of my new Dodge Dart. Arthur was able to get me acceptable amount on my trade in, and into my new vehicle. The process was efficient, friendly, and in just a few hours I was on my way in my new vehicle. Arthur also took time to explain all the features on the car, and answered any questions I had. Great buying experience, and I would purchase another vehicle here again.

  • The WORST

    I had the worst car sales experience at Avondale Dodge that I have ever had. If you read the article on the Edmunds website called "Confessions of a Car Salesman," you will understand all of the tactics that the salesmen at Avondale Dodge use. During my visit I had no less than FOUR salesmen try to work our sale. We had an opener, a negotiater, a closer, and then a "good guy" come in at the end to try and smooth over the mess that the "closer" made of the deal. Unfortunately for them, they just couldn't patch things up with us. These salesmen literally offer you things, allow you time to think it over and talk about it (we were there for 7 hours), and when you have finally reached your decision and decided to buy the car...the salesmen "suddenly" realize that they just can't give you the deal that they were originally promising you. We sat down at the desk to tell them we would take the car, and the salesmen went back on the deal! They went back several stages in the price negotiating and blamed it on a miscommunication. It's funny, too, because LITERALLY 2 minutes before they "SUDDENLY" realized that they were going to take back the deal, the salesman was up at the car pressuring us to take it, telling us what a great deal it was. Isn't this the age-old car salesman trick-- get the customer's heart set on the car, and then change the deal? I guess if this dealership is going to have "communication" problems, it shouldn't assign so many salesmen to a single sale. Our 3rd salesmen raised his voice at us, was rude to us, and spoke to us in a very rude manner. We walked away from this sale and from this dealership because of the way we were treated and because of the dishonesty. We just felt like dirty deals were going on here and that nothing good would come from purchasing our car here. Luckily for us, we went to Performance Dudge in Glendale the next day and got the same car at a lower price from honest people! Yes!

    Went to the dealer and found a great car 2014 Dodge Charger R/T and did the paperwork on it and took it home that night. This is where it turned bad quick, after a full week of driving the car and getting accustom to having a wonderful car we were called back in to inform us that there was an issue with financing and POI or proof of income. After talking to them about our options and hearing that the original payment that was discuses 729.00 at a 6% interest witch was on the paperwork was now 791.00 and 13% and that the income we had 4100.00 a month was not sufficient because they could not use 1478 dollars of it and that my wife had not been at her work for the duration they required 1 year because she is a waitress. Just to clarify she has been at the same job for 10 months 3 weeks and 5 days and bringing in about 1200 a week give or take about 150. So after talking to them and hearing the options of waiving the POI and increasing or interest rate to 13.5% and a payment of 810.00 and with the trade in on our 2012 ford focus originally 8600 and talked after we went to leave the dealership to 14000. Now keep in mind the car is 2012 with two tone leather interior fully loaded with 40000 miles and with a resale of 18000 with no issues with paint or body all maintenance on vehicle preformed and still could not talk them to a reasonable offer. Now we already knew that we would have negative equity to carry over but 8000 dollars worth. Now our salesmen was grate and would be the only reason we would go back but hay you can find a good sales man anywhere because the 14000 we were offered after haggling with them for HOURS was what we were offered everywhere else right of the bat.Now to end this novel we had to take the car back after driving it for 7 days and told that we should take the payment option of 810.00 because its a good deal. If you all are wondering that is more that you pay for some mortgage loans. And 13.5% interest is a deal sorry to say its not I have 4.5% on the focus
