I was sold a vehicle with multiple problems that were disguised by the dealership and service team. I brought the vehicle in and addressed the issues. I was lied to and sent on my way. I have asked for corporate’s info and have been denied the information. Very disappointed and hurt that someone could do this

Avoid Town North Nissan: A Cautionary Tale of Used Car Woes.

I strongly advise against Town North Nissan. I recently purchased a used car from this dealership, believing it to be a reputable establishment offering thoroughly inspected vehicles with clean histories. However, the transaction took place at night, and upon driving the car home, I discovered several issues the next morning, including a damaged bumper, a leaking windshield fluid line, and brake problems, among others. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, especially considering the dealership's initial reluctance to address these pre-existing issues. Despite multiple visits, it took considerable effort to get them to agree to fix some of the problems. However, even after leaving the car with them for repairs, it has now been close to a week with no clear indication of when I can expect to get my car back. The lack of communication and responsiveness, coupled with the attempt to blame me for issues that were not disclosed prior to purchase, is completely unacceptable from a dealership of their caliber. I would strongly advise against doing business with Town North Nissan, not only for used cars but also for new ones. If it were possible, I would give them less than one star without hesitation.

Widow Lady who wrecked her car needed help

I totaled my car a few weeks ago. I'm 74. I'm a widow. I was very worried about finding a car that I could drive that would be comfortable, have good gas mileage, and had the features that would keep me safe that I could afford. I had been shopping online. Doing my research on vehicles. I thankfully I saw a cute little compact SUV that fit the bill at Town North Nissan. A late model, low mileage, all the features I wanted and more. I filled out the "learn more" request online. In no time, the nicest man called me. I told him what I was needing. We made an appointment. My daughter took me to see the car and the salesman. He told me all about the car and we 3 went for a test drive. He answered all my questions and those of my daughter. He was not a high pressure salesman. He was a salesman who had the customer's needs in mind. I could tell that. You see I myself worked in the retail business in middle management for 30 years. We talked a deal. He gave us a price, we said what I could do. We came to an agreement that involved one of the managers. The bottom line was they wanted me to leave happy and I did. I bought the car. It Saturday. I picked it up on Monday. They inspected it and prepped it for me. No haggling, no high pressure. Very considerate all around. I greatly appreciated their consideration towards me. Buying a car can be a very stressful event. This sale made me a happy camper.

Technician that worked on my 2007 Pathfinder left my car in worse shape than when I dropped it off. Got a PO 300 engine warning (misfiring somewhere) and drove to Town North Nissan no problem 60mph. After many hours and multiple texts indicating "our tech thinks.." I agreed to their recommendation for a spark plug change. More communication "our tech thinks..." from them and I just said give me the car and I'll deal with it on my own. Driving home I think I achieved 25mph max. Dangerous and boatloads of no fun. Do yourself a favor, these guys can change oil and rotate tires, basic stuff, but I wouldn't recommend anything beyond that. Go to a real mechanic, save yourself the headache of driving with your hazard lights on and praying your car makes it home. Zero stars.

North Nissan Service Representative Chris demonstrated a great quality of listening skills. He was, very attentive and thorough. He communicated verbally as well as through text. Chris provide suggestions and options. Lastly, he was very accommodating for pickup arrangements.

Excellent Service and Know-How

You need an appointment but I didn’t realize that, yet Mr. Peterson assisted in getting me in, as I had a serious issue. The waiting area is huge and nice. Free beverages. Clean restrooms. There is valet to take & return your car to the mechanic area. And a large window looking into the mechanic shop from the waiting area. For good service & a comfortable wait, this is the place to go!

The service people work and try hard to do the best job they can. They give you the full details of the service and answer all questions. The job is done completely the first time. This next comment is not about the service employees but about Nissan in general. There is a survey they send you with one question about getting your car back cleaner than when you came in. This dealership doesn’t have an automatic car wash so it’s not going to happen. So if you check no on the survey the service people get a ding. That’s not right. Also you can get the car washed but it’s by hand and at a cost of $30. Except for that, service is exceptional.
