Great deal & great experience

Victor contacted me as soon as I submitted my query on Costco auto program web site. The price he quoted me for a new 2019 Toyota Corolla LE was below invoice, including Toyota's $1500 rebate. I checked dealerships around DC metro area including VA, no one came close in price. When I stopped by on 01/31, they did not have the color I wanted. They offered me additional $500 off to take a car in their local inventory. I bought their only 1 slate/gray exterior color displayed in Costco Frederick. Their color selection was limited, but they made an offer that I could not refuse. I ended up getting the car for $3K less than the invoice (as per Toyota & Costco websites), no freight/destination charge. My overall experience was excellent. Victor was super helpful and very professional. The managers were great also. There was no haggle, no pressure, no additional fees. Highly recommend the dealership and Victor!

Just Bought a 2017 Toyota Sienna!!

Just bought a brand new 2017 Toyota Sienna from Darcars Toyota. Aside from the process being long (buying a new car is always a long process), the transaction was very smooth. I particularly want to thank our salesman, Daniel Tablah, for his outstanding service. His professionalism and courtesy were superb. He wasn't your typical, pushy salesman. He was patient and kind and friendly. He even watched my 2 year old son while I transferred everything from my old car to the new. I trusted him. He's a family man himself, and that came across in his approach. Thank you Daniel! I highly recommend this establishment, and DEFINiTELY recommend you ask for Daniel when you go looking for your next car.

Best Car buying experience

This was a great experience from start to finish. I reached out to multiple dealers online to inquire about inventories. Most all dealers pushed for me to make an appt., called when I said email only, and didn't pay attention to the truck specs I was inquiring about. Dealers told me I should order it from Toyota, wait for shipping, put deposits down and they'd order, without me even talking to them in person or test-driving. One dealer even told me the truck I wanted wasn't possible to even build? He's sure doing himself a dis-service. DARCARS Frederick to the rescue. Joe Newman wasn't pushy at all, he was very respectful, polite, and professional. We negotiated a price match and military discount via email. He didn't have the truck with my specs on the lot so he drove to PA to pick it up, without making me put down any kind of deposit, and without charging additional freight costs. When I arrived for the test drive, he handed me the keys and said enjoy. My truck was an access cab so it was just myself and my boyfriend on the test drive. When we returned I was ready to discuss numbers which was fairly easy since he had already given me the price guarantee (which no other dealer would match). Bill in financing took it from there and took care to show me how financing through Toyota compared to my personal bank. I had planned on spending no more than $324/mo for 60 mos and left paying $255 for 72 mos. I live in Rockville, but it was worth the drive up to Frederick, to have such a great experience. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase or lease a Toyota.

Truly excetioaml

Chris, Daniel, and Herb made my new 2016 4Runner purchase the best buying experience I have ever had when buying a new car. From the salesman to the manager to the finance office was truly exceptional service. The commitment to customer care and the ease of the purchase will bring me back to DarCars Frederick Toyota when I am ready for another purchase. Never have I met a more committed group of individuals that value customer service and truly know how to make sure that your there number 1 priority

Not Pleased

Hello, my name is Michael Moshili and I purchased a used 2013 Honda Civic SI from the used dealership in Frederick, MD. My salesman's name was Edgardo Blanco, and I was VERY disappointed with his service. He made me feel like all he was after was my money and not giving me a comfortable purchasing experience. All he kept telling me was, "If you want something you'll have to pay money for it buddy." Which is absolutely true, but as a salesman you do anything and everything possible to make your customer feel like they're trying to get you the best deal possible (even if they're not). On the day I traded my vehicle in and drove off of the lot with my new one, Edgardo's last words were, "Make sure to refer your friends!" Not once did he congratulate me on my new vehicle. Guillermo "Bill" Duque was my finance manager and did a wonderful job. He was patient with me while I worked out some kinks and gave me a great experience, congratulating me on my way of his office! I saw the interaction between your new car salesman and they're customers, and as I watched those interactions I wanted nothing more than to have that myself. Unfortunately I left that day feeling like I was just a dollar sign to the dealership. This truly makes me feel like your used car customers mean little to nothing, putting forth minimum effort to ensure a comfortable buying experience. I believe I forgot mention that this was my very FIRST purchase of a vehicle, which Edgardo knew, but continued to make it seem like he was after my money. Overall, I know all of your salesman may not conduct themselves this way but to make sure I and friends/loved ones of mine don't run into this problem again, I will NOT be returning or referring anyone to this dealership. Oh, and the main reason why I am writing this review is because I purchased the vehicle on 11/17/2015, todays date being 11/30/2015, and have NOT RECIEVED A SINGLE PHONE CALL from anyone following up to see how I was making out with my new vehicle. Very disappointed.

2012 toyota tundra limited platinum

i just purchased my 2012 toyota tundra limited platinum from these dealership... first i will say the truck is in beatiful conditions... a couple day before i come to the dealer ( from DELAWARE) i spoke to TOM... we meet yesterday on his day off he came to work. i test drove the truck.. which my wife fall in love with.. TOM and his MANAGER lower the price for me even though it was already below the KBB value... that was a plus for us.. also we thank Jeff the financial manager which he explain all are options of payments and cover in the truck... he made the transaction really easy going... i will be driving again the 2 hour drive if i ever decide to buy another TOYOTA. THANK YOU VERY MUCH GUYS FOR YOUR HELP..

Great staff and great price at Darcars Toyota of Frederick, MD! Made the car purchase experience very painless. My sales person Eric H. was very knowledgeble and easy to work with. I drove one hour from NOVA and don't regret it one bit as they had the best pricing. Sales and finance staff Knew I was in a hurry and got me in and out of the dealership quickly on both occassions(initial agreement and pick up). The finance person worked with me to get the best possible deal and warranty. I will be a repeat customer!

Joe Newman and 3 J's

The 4 J's did the damn thing. Jimmy in finance made sure we purchased gap insurance before we left with our previous Avalon and I'm sure glad we did because our vehicle was hit by a driver who didn't have enough car insurance, don't get hit by a MAIF driver. Got that gap chit again with the second Avalon along with life and disability because this economy can be unreliable. This guy even called the bank for us to get us a better rate. James made sure we had the vehicle we wanted that included all the features we wanted with the best price. Joe made sure the process was smooth and easy, he even took the time to show us the options in his personal vehicle and made sure we left with a happy face. Jason is such a nice guy he offered us tickets to the Washington Auto show and really made us feel like we walked away winners. Darcars Toyota of Frederick is about 90 mins away from me and it is the only dealership i would ever go to when i purchase Toyota. The 4 J's will do you right every time, One hell of a GREAT sales team.

Bought a 2015 Toyota Corolla LE Premium

I was raised by a father who instilled in me that car salesmen were nothing but sleazeballs, who you had to "beat up" in order to get a good deal, and not be taken advantage of. When I decided it was time to trade in my 09 Yaris for a '15 Corolla, I was prepared to "beat up" whatever poor salesmen I got stuck with. In fact, I was eager to prove to my dad that I could hold my own against the salesmen. Then I went to DARCARS, and all my assumptions/expectations of car salesmen were thrown out the window - particularly after dealing with Joe Newman. From the inital contact, Joe was easy to talk to. He's super laid back, and never once pressured me to buy or agree to anything. The best part was that any and all negotiations were done over email, which made the process even easier. Joe was quick to respond and all of his answers were very detailed, and allowed me the opportunity to THINK about what he was saying and not just agree because it was presented well. Not being put on the spot made me feel like I was in control the entire time, and Joe was there to guide everything. Needless to say, I still made my dad proud by handling everything on my own - despite not having the chance to beat Joe up. :) However, I have one complaint and that is towards whomever does car appraisals. The first offer for my trade in was absolutely insulting. The guy didn't even PRETEND to be giving me a good deal, which was annoying and a waste of my time - seeing as how Joe had been nothing but upfront and honest with me from the start. Luckily, Jesse stepped in and was able to get me the EXACT amount for my trade-in that I had wanted all along. If Jesse hadn't stepped in, the deal would not have moved forward. Keep Jesse around to solve issues like this. Finally, Jeff was a pleasure to work with and made the dreaded signing of countless papers fun and entertaining. Overall, from the very start - I felt like I was a friend at DARCARS and not just someone they needed to sell a car to. If you want/need a car, go find Joe Newman. He will take care of you and let you have control of the situation.

They showed me how their ratings are earned!

I visited DARCARS Toyota complete aprehensive and extremely defensive. Expecting a deal I found to turn sour and just blow up in my face due to previous terrible experiences at other dealerships. What I found instead was an amazingly helpful, friendly, understanding, no shenanigans staff that didn't try to fast talk me and rope me into a terrible deal. Jimmy was amazingly helpful and was very patient for my early defensiveness and let me ask questions which he always answered in a way that made me feel like I was a valuable customer instead of a mark to make a quick buck off of. The contract I received had no surprises that was not brought to my attention. David helped in the end seal the deal and was patient and explained to me and helped me get the best bang for my buck. I never thought that I would find a dealership that is professional and made me feel like getting me on the road with a good deal was much more important than being sneaky and trying to weasel every penny out of my pocket. I walked out with a 2014.5 Toyota Camry and with a great deal of satisfaction. I would extremely highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

What a great experience I had this week at Darcars Toyota in Frederick. I was in the market for a 2014 Sienna XLE in AWD in silver. That is a hard combination to find...especially since I did not want the entertainment package. James W., one of the Sales Managers, did an outstanding job finding the car for me, bringing it in quickly, and ensuring that the heated seat recall issue was fixed. He went the extra mile to ensure great customer service. The actual sale was handled by Dennis D...one of the Sales Consultants. Dennis was very knowledgeable, efficient, customer focused, and easy to deal with. Car salesmen often have reputations that make the car buying experience terrible to endure. Dennis is truly the opposite of that; and in fact my wife made the comment ?that this was the best car buying experience we?ve ever had in 40+ years of buying new cars.?

Very Satisfied!!

My husband and I looked all over Maryland for a Prius in our price range with low mileage (used), and we found a bunch up in Frederick, so we made the drive from Glen Burnie to see and test drive them. I loooooooove my new car! They were extremely fair with the trade-in value of my old vehicle, worked with us to match our bank's interest rate on the loan, which allowed us more purchasing flexibility, and Tony and John were so kind and friendly! Tony did a walk around of the entire car with us, inside and out. Unfortunately, we test drove in the day time, and after we finished the paperwork, it was night time and we discovered that one of the headlights was out. Thankfully, it's covered under the Toyota warranty, and they arranged for us to have the car serviced at a local Toyota dealer instead of having to bring it back to Frederick. We are so happy, because that means we have a 10 minute drive as opposed to an hour! :) I am extremely pleased at the outcome of our trip! Thank you all so much!

I purchased a 2013 RAV4 after test driving a number of models, both at DARCARS and other dealerships. The sales and other staff were all very professional. No pressure or games. I felt like I got a fair deal, both on the price of the RAV and what I received on my trade in. The 0% financing was a nice extra incentive.

We purchased a Highlander from Darcars in 2007 and it was time for a new one (200,000 miles on the '07). We just purchased a 2013 model for a great price and the dealership really took great care of us! Due to our busy weekend schedule we only planned to do a test drive, but their process was so fast we were able to get the deal done that day! The excellent customer service starts at the top with their General Manager, Jason W.--but all the Darcars team provides support and assistance. I’ve purchased several vehicles from Darcars (new and used) and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another.

DARCARS Toyota of Fredrick has extremely competitive prices. That was why I drove an hour and a half from PA to buy a pre-owned certified 2011 Prius. Service was good, not great. But the sales consultant I dealt with, Patrick Lockett, was very friendly and helpful.

Amazing Expierence

My first time to come to a dealership with my dad and I found the team there to be extremely friendly and helpful. Especially Jeff G., he was very patient with us while we made our decision and answered all our questions very well. We also worked with Jesse T. and Sasan N., they were both very professional and provided us with great customer service. Sasan was a pleasure to work with, I was glad he was working at the time we went there because he made the purchasing-process a breeze. This dealership has an amazing, friendly team and I felt very welcomed from the moment I walked in until the time I drove out with my new car!!
