My husband and I had been looking into getting a new car and decided to jump in and go ahead. When we came in Nick B. was friendly and personable. He took the time to figure out what we were looking for, even though I was pretty sure of what I wanted. When we decided on the Atlas he took extra time to show us the features and how to access them after we went home. This was an awesome experience and I will be back.

    Bought car here recently at DH Volkswagen. The people here are awesome and very helpful. I ended up leaving with a brand new car that I got for a very reasonable price. Go see Shane if you're looking for an honest salesman who is actually there to HELP you.

    I was interested in turning in my leased SUV for a vehicle that was more economical. I contacted Greg Foumal at Dick Hannah and asked for his help. First, he was able to get the figures needed to pay off the remainder of the lease, and they made me the best deal ever on a 2015 Passat. I am totally happy with my new car, and I especially appreciate all the help and care that Greg afforded to me to make this an enjoyable car-buying experience!!! Thank you, Greg and Dick Hannah!!!!

    Purchase of a used VW Jetta went rather smooth. This is when the trouble started. After signing all the paperwork, I walked to my new car, and sitting next to it was the exact same car, in better condition? No paint chips on the front and overall cleaner. I was basically told tuff luck, we already signed papers. Not a good start. I live in Oregon, so they could only issue a temp sticker for me and I had to go to an Oregon DEQ for a VIN and DEQ inspection. Did this and scared/emailed copies. No initial response so I contacted finance office and was told they do not have the correct paperwork, fax was bad. I tried to resend twice, didn't work so I hand delivered. By this time my temp tag has expired. I was told I had to purchase an extension. Not my fault for the delay, so why is it my expense? Then, a couple days after purchase I notice the lumbar support handle had fallen off, it was broken. The seat high adjustment handle fell off. And then i noticed a dent on the roof where the antenna is, and the antenna is separated from the roof of the car. When I take it in, they take a look and say there is evidence that a car door may have come down on the car or something like that to damage it. And of course they say this must have happened while I had possession. I have not garaged this car since I have owned it. I felt like I was being accused of lying. I am a hard working honest person who was looking for some help and felt like this person was accusing me of being a fraud. At the VERY least I was hoping for some help or suggestions to get this fixed, if they would just try to fix it to keep a good customer relationship. Instead I was told there was noting they could do, but if I wanted to drop it off for three or four days they could fix it for a minimum of $3500. I was insulted. Luckily, the contracted dent repairman heard my conversation and we have arranged to get my car fixed, no help from Dick Hannah staff. They lost me as a customer, and at this point I will perpetuate the story that Dick Hannah is the LAST place you want to buy a car. Even if you get a good deal on a car, their customer service is TERRIBLE.
  • THE WORST CAR SALES EXPERIENCE EVER

    Tall saleswoman assisted us. She is sooooooooooooooooo obnoxious and sooooooooooooooooo arrogant that I walked out. Not only did she have a chip on her shoulder, she was passive aggressive, dragged her feet and totally wasted my time. We told her what kind of car we were interested in. She didn't offer to tell us if and how many were available on the lot. Each time we wanted to see a car she went in to get the keys. Then if we wanted to see another similar car in a different color, she had to go back in to get the keys. I would think you would work more efficiently and come out with a few keys or ask customers which cars they are interested in seeing so you can get ALL the keys for those cars instead of going in and out, back and forth wasting our time. I wouldn't step foot in this dealership or any of the other Dick Hannah dealerships ever again. I suspect employees from this dealership leave positive reviews after potential buyers leave negative ones so don't believe everything you read. If other dealers want to know what they shouldn't do when selling a car, they should visit this saleswoman and take note

    Prior to going to Dick Hannah Volkswagen, I was unsure about having my car serviced at a dealership. However, I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Dick Hannah. Even though my car knowledge is limited, they always clearly explain the problems, the options, and the cost of each service. When I go in for one problem, I have never felt pressure to suddenly fix five or six things--like I've gotten at other repair shops. The service rep always calls to check in before they do anything, so I never get a bill higher than I expected. I've been coming to Dick Hannah for about 3 years now, and will continue to go there!

    I brought my wife's 1999 VW Jetta in for her 80K major service and I couldn't be more happy with the results. My hand was held from the moment I walked in the door and it was a great feeling knowing we, and our car, were being taken care of. At the dealership, with all of my questions answered, I left my wife's car in their hands. The next day I received a phone call around noon to update me on the status of the car. The technician that was in charge of our service told us everything was going well and proceeded to describe some things on the car that should be looked at in the future. We received the car back the next night and my wife and I were very pleased with the entire experience. Everyone there was both friendly and knowledgeable. I would defiantly recommend this dealership to any other VW owner that needed work done on their car.

    Just had my first 10,000 mile service at Dick Hannah Volkswagen for my 2009 Jetta TDI and I am very happy. Hannah has a covered drive up and drop off area. Our service advisor, Josh, was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I had requested a shuttle and, after a very short wait, the shuttle arrived to take me to my office. Josh called to let me know that the service was completed well in advance of the promised time. The shuttle called to confirm I was ready to pick up my car, and then picked me up shortly thereafter. Josh explained the service provided and, again, answered all of my questions. My car was brought around to the service area promptly and was freshly washed upon arrival. Also of note, Hannah has a very nice waiting area, with complimentary coffee, cookies and water available. The shuttle driver was very cordial and pleasant. I will definitely be taking my Jetta here for service in the future.

    I had dealt with this dealership twice. Back in 2007, I like their sales team and it's a good experience purchasing car from them. I walked out there happy because I got a car I like with no complaint. In Dec. 2009, I went back and purchased my 2nd car. The sales team did not disclose all facts of the car and deal before the paperwork is signed. I am partially responsible to trust them to allow them to mislead me this time because the first purchase from them was very good. When I found out some questionable cost on the paperwork that was not discussed earlier in the negotiation, they just ignore me. They failed to deliver the car I purchased matching to the spec that the sales told me when we signed the deal. When I questioned about this after I owned the car. The sales gave me in-comprehensive answer. When I demanded to have a clear response. I was told that the option is not functional unless the software installed. The sales manager refused to install the software to honor the spec his staff claimed when they tried to sell me the car. What they do here is not a very responsible business practice. Take advantage of the customer with less knowledge in their business operation and product. This dealership becomes skeptical in their dealing with the customers. They can rip you off and still ask you to kiss their [violative content deleted].

    I just wanted to thank Maryanne Randall @ Dick Hannah Volkswagen in Vancouver, WA for her loving kindness helping us buy a beautiful 2007 Passat Wagon (January 3, 2008). I spent over a month searching (via the Internet) various car dealer inventories (not only VW) in Everett, Seattle, Renton, Auburn, Tacoma, Portland and even Hillsboro for either a Jetta or Passat Wagon. Due to the time & circumstances, Dick Hannah had the best selection. When we drove down from Olympia on Jan 3 to check-out the scene at Dick Hannah, we weren't expecting to buy a car, just test drive it and return home. But after driving/seeing the Passat Wagon, we immediately fell in love with it knowing it would be a perfect vehicle for our family needs and decided to purchase it right on the spot. Maryanne made everything very easy and allowed us to make an offer, which was about $2,000 less than what the dealer was asking. The offer was accepted and then all the paper-work process had to begin (what a nightmare if you haven't purchased a car in awhile!!!), which went quite smoothly. Since the car had a few items that needed repair (which were done perfectly), I had to return the next weekend to finally drive it home. Due to circumstances beyound our control (flooding in Lewis County, which shutdown I-5 & Amtrak),it took 3 days getting back down to Vancouver! Anyway, we are all very happy with our Passat Wagon and thank Maryanne again and again for all of her help. All in all, I found everyone at the dealership very friendly and recommend anyone to check them out, without any obligation. [violative content deleted].     We purchased two vehicles from Dick Hannah Volkswagen. The first a 2008 Beetle. We were treated more than fairly, and their after sale service can't be beat! I actually thought their term, "Customers for life" was just a ploy, but in fact it is actually true! Our sales gal MARYANNE RANDAL, WAS FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND GRACIOUS, AS WELL AS NICE LOOKING!! My wife drove a Passat Wagon and it seemed to leave a good impression on her After having the Beetle for only 50031 miles we traded up to the Passat Wagon. It has ]erformed perfectly, we have absolutely no complaints. As to the previous person that wrote a review--- we found nothing to indicate any false statements or failure to comply with their word., I found them to be straight forward, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to make us feel comfortable wi5h the deal.They also handled the financing for us without any problems.I find the previous reviewers entry to be without merit nor foundation.We will gladly refer our friends and family to Marryanne Randal and will do so without reservation.     They lied about the referral program they promised. Not pay me for my referral. Made 4 calls and 1 visit. Totally waste of time. Will never do business again.
    • I found them to be straight forward and up front in their dealings. I have purchased both a 2008 Beetle and a 2009 Passant Wagon. They said what they would do and followed through with their promises! I don't know what your sytuation is/was, but I have found them to be easy to talk to and that they are more than willing to make things right. I am sorry that you found them to be less than honest? I have not had that experience. Bob Weller

    I haven't used Dick Hannah for service before this - mostly because I heard such terrible things. I only chose Dick Hannah - because the over the phone quote was the cheapest. I just needed them to replace my drivers side mirror - so I went in had them look at it, dealt with 3 different departments, ordered the part and was told that the part would be painted and ready to go the following Tuesday. Show up Tuesday - not only did no one have any information about my car or what they were going to do - they also didn't have the part painted. The guy in the service department was rude and really condescending - insinuating that its my fault that it wasn't ready. Also - the original quote was for $320 - when I went in today - it was going to be another $175. I will never use Dick Hannah again. Their "specialists" are [violative content deleted]. Their organization is so fragmented, none of the departments talk to each other and their respect for the customer and their time is nil. Ridiculous Terrible Service

    I just turned in my 2nd leased car from Dick Hannah, and wound up working with Greg F. He was somehow completely professional and also a lot of fun to work with. He listened to my needs & showed me a few options, worked with my bottom line, and ultimately I got a great car for a price that made me really happy. I'd send anyone I know to Dick Hannah VW, and specifically send them to Greg.

    I have been to dealerships before in the past, and always felt an overwhelming sense of being pressured and manipulated into purchasing a vehicle that wasn't what I was looking for. The first time I worked with Scotty, I had an experience unlike the rest. He took the time to understand my needs and my desires in a vehicle, and did everything possible to find me something that encompassed both. He understands people, and doesn't view them as "another customer" when they walk through the door. You genuinely feel he truly wants to help you find what you are looking for the best he can. I had worked with Scotty before in the past, and thought maybe this was a one time "luck of the draw", but upon returning again, I was greeted with the same smile and generosity as before. He is a true and honest individual, and I would recommend anyone who has an apprehension about going to a dealership to work with Scotty and see how much he can change your perception. You will not be disappointed!

    This was the 10th vehicle we have purchased in our lifetime.It was the easiest we have ever experienced; Scott our sales associate was completely prepared when we arrived. He knew exactly what I wanted and stuck to my set price point. There was know back and forth one price he was straight forward no weird mysterious trips to someone in a back office making the "deal" We received a great price on our trade in as well. Paperwork was ready to sign and we were in and out of there within just a few short hours. Thanks again Scott for the great service. I recommended Scott to my sister and she purchased a car from him too with the same great experience.

    Josh provided an awesome car buying experience for me . I had never bought a new car before and was unfamilar with the process. Josh provided an easy, headache free experience. He was honest, easy-going, and friendly. He quoted a fair price for the car and did not try to overcharge me or get me to buy something I did not want. He listened to what I wanted, found what I wanted for the price I wanted, and got the car ready for me to buy within a few hours. He made sure that all my questions were answered and there weren't any grey areas. He made sure I knew exactly what I was buying. He was very attentive while I waited to meet with the finance person. We test drove the car and he explained all the features of the VW Jetta. He was very knowlegable. He answered all my questions. Furthermore, he checked in with me regualrly after I bought the car to make sure I liked it and did not have any probems. He sent me a Thank You card. Josh is a very genuine car salesman. I had a negative conception of car salesmen before I bought my VW and he was nothing like I expected. I would give his number to anyone who wants to buy a car from Dick Hannah VW.

    I went in to have my driver’s side electric window put back on its track. The service writer tried to tell me the motor was burnt out. I told him it was working the day before and the window had just slipped of its track. Then he said the arm was bent and needed to be replaced. At this point I was really angry and I told him to just put it back together and I would pick it up later that day. He charged me $110 labor. When I got it back it worked fine and has so for over 2 years since then. This Dealer hard sells their services and tries to take advantage of unsuspecting customers like my wife who took her Accord in with a clogged injector. They talked her into replacing all the injectors which cost over $1k. You pay for their niceness and “free” rides by paying for services that are not needed. Rip off place- avoid!
    • You have to post a message of your experience on their Facebook wall to even be acknowledged. I don't think this dealership will last very long if they continue to treat their customers like garbage.

    Taking my VW Rabbit to Hannah now. Our minivan went there for 13 years and still ran great when we traded it. The van was far from a lemon, but in 13 years we had many different kinds of work done (body, engine, service), and they were all done well.
