★☆☆☆☆ Dishonest Sales and Poor Customer Service – Avoid This Dealership
by Jason on 04/19/2025I purchased a used Cadillac Escalade ESV-V for $123,000 from this dealership, and it was one of the worst buying experiences I’ve ever had. The vehicle had two previous accidents — a critical detail that was never disclosed during the sale.… I found out only after I ran my own Carfax report post-purchase. For a high-end vehicle at this price, full transparency should be the bare minimum. Instead, I felt misled from the start. The salesperson, Amad Tariq, was also incredibly rude and unprofessional. I simply asked when the delivery driver would arrive, and he hit me with a sarcastic response like, “It is what it is, it’s traffic time.” Totally unnecessary and disrespectful, especially when you're spending six figures. What made the situation even worse was their response once I raised concerns. They gave me two options: Keep the car and just deal with the issues, or Trade it in, but only if I purchased another vehicle from them. I refused to buy another car from a dealership I no longer trusted. When I returned the vehicle, we lost over $7,000 in just one week. To add insult to injury, they tried to defend themselves by saying they “only use AutoCheck,” and dismissed what was on Carfax. That’s a weak excuse — both reports matter, and it's their job to know the full history of what they’re selling. And let’s talk safety: the car was pulling to the left and the steering wheel wasn’t even straight. How does a car like that pass Virginia’s safety inspection? It makes you wonder what else they’re overlooking — or ignoring. If you're considering buying from here — especially a high-end model like the ESV-V — do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Go to a reputable Cadillac dealership or a trusted group like Penske, AutoNation, Sonic, or Lindsay. You'll save yourself money, time, and a major headache.Good experience

Would buy a car from them again when I am looking in the future.Best truck buying experience so far. Well worth the 14 hour round trip.

I was a little nervous about driving that far to get a truck but to my surprise… there were no games or gimmicks. My truck was waiting out front for me gassed up and clean. Kirk was ready to take me for a test ride and the paperwork was easy. Everyone was very accommodating as I had my 12 yr old dog with me which was not an issue. Too Easy!

Solid, Professional, Courteous
by Brennan Turner on 10/13/2022Worked with Jonah and Russ at Country Chevrolet - I'm a tough sell and someone who is going to vette everything. Both of these guys took real time pictures of the vehicle, including the undercarriage, sent me all the information I… requested in a timely manner, and were professional throughout. I was able to take the vehicle to a 3rd party auto shop and get it checked out before purchase. My Challenger was in "great shape" and seems like a solid vehicle. They put brand new brakes, rotors and a few other things on to make it a high end used car. The dealership is clearly well run and no one tried any shady sales tactics. The finance mananger, Arch, was a good guy and lowered my APR rate and didnt try to overprice Gap insurance or add in the typical dealer extras. I'd highly recomend Country Chevrolet and Russ or Jonah.Brennan, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us this feedback. We sincerely value your business and look forward to your next visit!
They sold us a lemon and then lectured us
by Wegotplayed on 07/14/2021They sold us a lemon. We purchased a 2017 Subaru WRX for our son last summer. Before the loan was even funded the clutch went out. A few months later the transmission had to be replaced and now (after owning the car only 9 months) the… engine has to be replaced. We bought the car with 58k miles on it. We sent a letter regarding this costly and surprising trifecta of issues in a 9 month timespan and the owner sent back a reply telling us that we should have “googled” all of these possible issues before buying the car. He didn’t even take the time to look at the model we purchased before lecturing us as parents about why we should never have bought the car for our son and then refused to do anything about the issues. His response is about the STI model - which we didn’t purchase - and he blames our son for the issues. I’m literally shocked at the condescending, uninformed and belligerent response we received. See photos below. Save yourself a lot of heartache and buy from a dealership who cares about their customers and sells quality used cars. We made a $10,000 (in repairs) mistake buying there. by Emily on 03/14/2020I ended up getting in contact with Dustin Hutt while looking for a car on the site and he got back to me asap. I have a habit of not staying on task with certain things and he was capable of keeping me in check with everything and… constantly guiding me to get the car that I wanted. I asked for more information about it and ended up taking it home a week later. I gained trust with this company and they really do work with you as well as possible. Recommend 100%. Will be back and asking for Dustin Hutt!! One of the things besides that is this was my first car so I had no idea what it was or how to do much of anything. I feel like my APR was way too high and I only found realized after I spoke the family about the decision. I wish they were able to guide me as if they were getting the car for themselves, this is all about the bank though. I was new to credit so I didn’t understand how someone with bad credit would have less than I do. But to each their own. Still will be back though, with a bit more knowledge.The Best!

He and his manager are wizards at figuring out how to get the most for your money. I can't recommend them highly… enough. They're friendly, knowledgeable, fast; just delightful to work with! First off they waited for my wife and I to come in for their last appointment at 830pm for what I anticipated… to be a quick test drive and maybe we'd be back in the morning, but no, these guys stayed until nearly midnight to help us reach a decision on a used vehicle. The entire process was so pleasant and stress free, I cant say enough how much I enjoyed working with these men at Country Cheverolet. they gave us an excellent deal on a great vehicle that we are very happy with! Their upfront pricing and no hassle sales approach made for one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had. I would highly recommend buying or leasing from Country Chevrolet and I cant wait to purchase our next vehicle from them in the future! We agreed to purchase a vehicle and when on our way to sign the paperwork, they sold it out from under us and all we rec'd was a "sorry". What kind of… business does this? The lack of integrity is astonishing after I heard great things about this dealership.
