Farrish Subaru offers stellar customer service. My experience was very pleasant. The salesperson Ben Cooper was very knowledgeable about the cars and answered all of my questions. I would recommend Farrish Subaru to anyone looking to buy a⦠used or new Subaru.

My journey started with a phone call, followed by several text messages and of course it ended in a road trip. The trip was well worth the drive. Mr. I. That is the reason why I came back for the same dealer after ten years. Did not disappointed at⦠all; got my choicest car trim and color for reasonable price. They went out of their way to ship me my choice option from another location which entired East Coast only has two available; my outback VIN is only a month old so I know their 2021 outbacks are flying from their lots. I also got their 0% interest rate, 60month loan again; was supprised Farrish can give me 0% in 2021-my credit was in 820 so it is worthy to go Farrish for just the loan service. by KShowk2 on 09/01/2017My husband had researched the car thoroughly and went to purchase it. It took quite a while for someone to come out to the lot and we wanted to test drive. The salesman rode with us, so I asked him what were the best features on the car (It⦠was pretty loaded so there were lots). Dead silence. He finally said,"Do you have any questions about the car?" We came back the next to purchase it from him, it took over 35 min. for him to meet with my husband - we had made an appointment. The price was a little over $28k which included freight but not their gross $699 dealer fee. He gave us a price of $26,200, from his research this was a fair price for the car. Even though we started with the price including the delivery charge, when he went into "financing" for well over an hour (he was paying cash) and the price we were quoted did NOT include shipping. They did not quote "apples to apples" - then the big fee which is a ripoff of $699 on top of that. Not good, not fair.Poor technical and customer service

A few months ago during a routine oil change the technician apparently spilt oil on the engine and terrible smoke and smell was coming from under the hood a few days. I was "enjoying" a⦠horrible burning smell inside the for weeks afterwards. Today I brought my car (Subaru Outback) for a routine oil change and state inspection in the morning. I was told it would take 2-3 hours, so I left. At the end of the day they called me to say the car will not be ready today and will need to stay with them until tomorrow. I had to come and pick it up in the same condition I left it in the morning. The service personnel and their manager did not seem to be very sorry and did not really apologize. I don't think they really care. I have never seen auto-service as poor as this. Will start using another dealership effective tomorrow and will not recommend Farrish of Fairfax to anyone.Enthused Farrish Fairfax Va Subaru Owner

James Turner, salesman was non-pressure, and extremely accomodating to answer our every question.⦠Post-sale service is extraordinary conducting new owner meetings monthly to answer all our new car questions, provide tips, and a venue so that we might learn from other owners (many repeat Subaru car owners!) Farrish has moved to an expanded Fairfax dealer due to successful sales, repeat buyers, and to provide even more efficient service after the fact. As a car enthusiast, I have researched dozens of SUV's to learn Subaru's are high tech, reliable, precision quality machines that will last 15 years with prudent car and service. I personally believe in supporting local economy- particularly when they were the lowest bid.Sold me a bad car

I purchased a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid to be exact, for eight thousand plus, now I know for a fact that I was highly taken⦠advantage of by your company and staff, I guess they saw a young woman, and and knew that I would be a fool to buy the car and unfortunately I was, Everything has been going wrong with this car since I got it from your company, all with less than 3 months of buying it, first it wouldn't pass inspection and then I had to pay to get that fix then it passed, then 1 month later, the battery is messes up, and took it to 3 different mechanics and all said it would cost almost 5 thousand to fix it. I have been crying every single day for the past 2 weeks, with no money, and now this, I feel extremely robbed by you and your company, they knew what was wrong with and still sold it to me, even after asking if there was anything wrong with it and I was told by C no it was perfectly fine, and I know I am the fool for not doing my research on your company and store or even on the car, all I did was go by everything that was on line on all the websites the car was posted on. I just wanted to find a better way to get to and back from work everyday and now this. I am a very very great person, who doesn't deserve this at all, I knew some car dealerships were crooked but now never would I have imagined this, 5 thousand is more than half of what I paid for the car itself, and like I said I feel robbed, used and very heartbroken that this is what I'm dealing with, I'm still paying monthly on the car and where am I supposed to find 5 thousand to put down to get it fix, on top of what I'm paying monthly, so now I'm paying monthly for a car that I can't even drive to work. This is really unfair that this is what happened after only less than 3 months of buying from you. I just wanted to write to let you know how heart broken and unfair this really really is, I am just wondering what I didn't to you or anyone at your company to deserve this, but lesson learned, I know for next time. This is definitely one of the greatest lessons I've ever learned at only 25 years old, so I thank you and your company for that.Reliable, Friendly and straight forward

We already test drove the Forrester and knew that was the vehicle we were going to purchase. We actually went to Farrish⦠looking for a used vehicle. We worked with Robert Litakov [non-permissible content removed] and Robert was extremely patient with both us and answered all of our questions and showed us a number of vehicles both new and used. After looking at all the options, we felt very comfortable working with Robert and the whole Farrish team. While shopping for cars and using the Edmunds.com website, we actually received several online quotes from competitors, a couple were lower than Farrish was offering, but Farrish worked with us, we felt the most comfortable with them and we ultimately purchased our car with them. I would highly recommend Farrish along with using the information on the Edmunds.com site to purchase your first, second, or X Subaru. thank you!No sales pressure
by Happy_Grandma on 04/21/2013updated 06/05/2025This is the fourth consecutive vehicle we have purchased through Farrish (two were Jeeps, the last two Suburau). With a toddler grandson in our picture, we wanted a vehicle with a camera that would help us avoid accidents when backing⦠up. We used the Costco Buying Service to help us get the best price available. Our salesman, Jackie, allowed us to test drive the basic Subaru and a better model Forester. We backed up in the local high school parking lot to practice using the camera mirror. We eventually ended up buying a Limited with the larger view screen. Added bonus was that it is much easier getting our grandson into and out of his car seat because of the improved back seat and door. We negotiated the trade-in and purchase in a short amount of time. The paperwork process took time, but it always does, especially on a Saturday afternoon when all of the salesmen were busy and the processors were backed up. While we were waiting our turn for the paperwork part, our salesman spent time with me inside the car going over the various components. He synced my cell phone with the car's blue tooth, showed me how to make phone calls, etc. He said to call him with any questions that come up. Nice to have that back up after the sale! All in all, a good experience.
