2nd new auto purchased, feels like dealing with the good side of the family

by gonavy78 on 04/27/2010My family has always had at least one Volvo in the garage during the past 30 years so we didn't have to be sold on the car. That said, there's nothing like visiting with a dealership where you feel like they really do care about you as a… person and not just as a customer. My wife recently purchased her fourth Volvo wagon and she hates the entire experience of shopping for a new car. Volvo of Charlottesville changed her mind. The sales staff is first rate and the owner, Liza Borches, makes it her business to personally greet every new customer and know their name. After the sale, we recently attended a new owner clinic where we got a chance to meet the service team and other new Volvo owners in a casual setting after hours- great fun. Before buying our newest Volvo we've also had an occassion to use their service and parts department over the years and I've always found them friendly and accomodating.Volvo of Charlottesville Takes the Long View
by lgvolvo on 02/23/2008We just bought a used Volvo from this dealership and I just wanted to say I've been really pleased with the communication, negotiation, and completion of the sale. This is a locally owned dealership that clearly cares about its reputation… in the community and understands that it's more important to please a customer and earn repeat business than to nickel-and-dime over a particular sale. I would definitely recommend this dealership as far as a basic sales experience goes. If/when there is info to post about service, I'll follow up, but so far it has been a great transaction.
