I recently purchased a new Tacoma from Handy Toyota. I worked with Adam Bentley on the sale. He is a very kind and knowledgeable salesman. Their whole sales team is rather experienced. I had two other gentlemen help me with questions and the finance manager clearly explained the different warranties and servicing available. 10/10

    This is the second car I have purchases from Handy Toyota. I had my first car for 6 years with no problems. After becoming a mother I needed something bigger to fit the cars eat, stroller ect. Not only did I get a great car for a great price but the transaction was simple and easy. I was hesitant on buying a car at the moment as I a very busy new mother and grad student. I am beyond thankful for how simple Handy Toyota made this process. Josh delivered the car right to my home (an hour a way from the dealership) the next day and they are taking the trip to the DMV form me. I could not be happier with this transaction!

    Needed the brakes replaced on my rav4. Was able to get an appointment within 2 days. Service staff was very attentive and knowledgeable and the text me to let me know how it was going, and what the cost would be. J. Laflam was very courteous and went over everything with me when the service was completed

    We just purchased our 6th car with Ali Kamal at Handy Toyota. Ali is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and wonderful to work with. Aaron Root was our Finance person and he certainly knows his job. From the moment you walk into Handy Toyota you feel like you are a valued customer whether you are buy a car or having service done on your car. I would highly recommend Ali, Aaron and Handy Toyota.

    Shout out to the staff of handy toyota in st Albans, highgate J. Loflam for the fast, so quick service check maintenance he did for my rav 4 toyota car today, to Jean Marie Vianney Bugwiza's never ending effort in promoting toyota as a good brand car and to Ms. Tory who did fix ny squeaky sound in my car the last time I went in handy toyota! All you guys are so terrific, so friendly and accomodating not to mention the quick actions you did for my car service... What a good performance, Great job guys.. Thank you very much.. And God bless you all🥰❤️

    Thanks to the expert team at Handy Toyota, I drove away in my new certified Rav4 XLE same day! I told Samantha what I was looking for in a vehicle, it was like she knew what I was thinking. Eric in finance was helpful, patient, and helped explain the numbers to me. I have never had a more smooth transaction! Highly recommend the team at Handy's!

    We just had a pleasant car shopping experience at Handy Toyota in St. Albans, VT. Our salesperson was Ali Kamal and he was the consummate professional. No hard sales pitch. He listened to us, was patient, and got us through the process painlessly. Our only disappointment was that, given the state of the market at this time during the pandemic, Toyota is offering little in the way of incentives, but Handy's was accommodating in being flexible on the value of our trade-in.

    I sadly had a very negative experience with this dealership. I tried to work with them for a week. All the while being told the vehicle I was inquiring about was in their shop and I could not see it. I even went to the dealership on three occations from over an hour away. I was then told by two of their associates that they would contact me right away and hold the vehicle. The day it was available I called and spoke with yet another associate. I explained I had to get my children from school and would be there directly after. I was told it would be held. When I arrived, on time, the car was being sold to another customer. The manager then basically told me too bad I have honestly never written a review, but this was such an awful experience.

    ASK IF ITS A CANADIAN VEHICLE IT MATTERS anyway Worst dealer experience I have ever had in 30 years of buying vehicles. Let me first start off and say that Nick Lambert was nice, kind, and helpful but that’s where it ends. The staff at Handy’s downtown were rude, cocky, and very unwilling to negotiate. So let me break it down I bought TWO TRUCKS over $124,000 dollars in Vehicles! One for me and one for my son (previously looked at the one for me a few weeks prior). They were not willing to budge one penny on the one for my son and came down VERY little on the one for me. I gave them a down payment and gave them ALL DAY the following day to prep the trucks, get the paperwork ready, contact the insurance (as they copied my insurance card the prior day). Well I get there after 4pm the next day nothing is done short of the truck being washed. They send over Dennis (there finance paperwork dude) and he has no paperwork done tells me they have to go get the paperwork completed. I’m like um this is over 124k in trucks and you had an entire day but I digress. This Dennis guy comes back and starts to try and sell me a warrantee I advise him I already bought one during the day through the manufacturer, he gets like pissed about it asks me multiple times about it, looks at my phone to see the warrantee I purchased, rudely tells me I need to look very closely at that, on and on I’m thinking what is it to you you’re pissed because I didn’t buy it from you? Then rude Dennis says to me “here is your one year maintenance deal with two free oil changes” and like an inspection or something makes me sign it, and then tells me he doesn’t think it applies to diesels. I reply well this is a signed contract for a year of maintenance and his snappy reply is “yeah well I can go reprint it then”. SO RUDE hey how about saying ya know what we got you covered. Now looking at the paperwork it says $399 Doc fee! I said what is this $400 dollars to fill out the paperwork? Dennis Snaps back and says “We always put that into the price!” again I’m thinking like well thats twice what any dealer charges the average is $180 in VT and they never said anything about a doc fee that high to me! So now it’s 5:40pm they say to me “hey can you contact your insurance? I’m like “WHAT! You had my insurance card and ALL DAY I thought that was why you copied it! Now the insurance is closed at this point! Yeah I will contact the insurance and take care of that after you took 400 in doc fees. I have never had to do that when I bought a car ever the dealer always does it. Now I get to drive away and hope it’s covered?! None of the staff came over said anything pretty much here are your keys have a nice day didn’t walk through the truck nothing. . . “Bye” is pretty much what you get. The atmosphere at Handy Downtown was they were doing you a favor not you are the customer. I have bought 5 Vehicles from this Handy organization, and this will be the last transaction I will ever have with them.

    Well once again Tory provided outstanding service, received the repairs I needed when I needed, done ahead of time and a reasonable cost. YUP I'M A PRETTY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!! GREAT JOB Tory and everyone and thank you!

    This was one of the worst buying experiences I've ever experienced. Worked out the deal in advance over the phone as we live an hour away. Showed up on a Wednesday to purchase with pre-approval financing from our bank. Even with this, they wouldn't release the car until the wire transfer went through. I've been buying cars for 30 years and never had this happen with a bank's pre-approval, but ok. The finance manager, Aaron, became less than pleasant when we declined his extended warranty spiel, but we moved forward and arranged to pick up the car the next week (Monday). Fortunately, I called before making the drive to check they had received the money. Turns out they had not received payment yet. After calling my bank, it seems that an error was made in the paperwork on their end. My bank had called and faxed on Friday to resolve the issue and never heard from them. I notified them of their error, and they corrected their mistake and resubmitted the paperwork. When I asked if I could still come get the car, they refused saying I had to wait ANOTHER few days until the payment went through, even though the reason for the delay was due to their error, as well as ignoring my bank's attempt to resolve the issue days prior. If I hadn't called, they would have wasted another 2 hours of my time, and I would have had to make a THIRD 2 hour round trip. Our sales contact was great, trying to resolve the issue, but he didn't have the authority to release the car. I escalated to a manager named Jamie. He was not helpful, even suggesting that if I had financed through them that I could have had the car already (at a much higher interest rate). Why is me paying more money a solution to this problem? When he rudely suggested that 'we part ways', I decided that I'd spend my money elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend them and will be actively warning others to avoid purchasing from them.

    This Tacoma was are second new vehicle purchase in less than a month. Also we have been purchasing vehicles at this dealership since the early 80s. I think that is a testament in it self about this dealership. I also want to recognize are sales person Errol Rule who worked with us on both sales. He is professional and respectful of his customers. He is very good about the details of your vehicle. Thank you Errol.

    Ali, Dennis, Kate, and Rick at Handy Toyota made the purchase of my new car easy and painless. They were responsive and helpful answering all my questions and responding promptly to my numerous inquiries throughout the entire experience. Ali, the salesman, went over all the car details, provided me with a lot of extra information, and showed me how to use the computer system in my new Prius XLE AWD-e. The team helped me financing, registration, and warranty information. The dealership had many great cars to choose from, both new and used which was an added bonus!

    My husband and I always love going to Handy for our vehicle purchases. We specifically go to Ali for our salesman as he is excellent and will do anything he can to accommodate your vehicle needs/wants. Aaron in financial is also very excellent to deal with!!!

    Jordan Kehaya went out of his way to make sure that I had everything I needed and wanted from the time I walked into the dealership. He was attentive and accommodating with zero pressure. Answered all of my questions and made sure we found the perfect car. This was the second car I have purchased from Jordan. I would highly recommend working with him if you are looking to purchase a vehicle without hassle!
