    initial service experience was good but on further inspection of work done after getting the vehicle home, I noticed that some items had been missed. But, after talking to the service manager the vehicle was picked up at my home and the service was re-checked, corrected and additonal repairs done at no additonal cost

  • Dishonest with work that needs to be done

    The technician suggested $700 of "critical" work that needed to be done (spark plugs and throttle plate cleaning) that had already been done within the last 2000 miles. I will not be returning to Mark Miller for any work or to buy my next Subaru. With so many options out there these days, dishonest business practices are a deal breaker for me.

    Good luck to anyone getting service at this dealership. They rushed through my oil change/service so fast that they didn’t even bother putting the car back together properly. It’s a good thing I caught it when I did before it caused damage to the motor.

    I was not happy that almost 40.00 of incidentals, that I never agreed to. No one could give me a good reason, saying towels. That is not right to add charges I didn’t approve

    I had a very good experience when I had my 2021 Subaru Forester in for regular service. The employees were all very accommodating to my needs and they were very caring about me.

  • Oil change hassle

    I drove to the midtown location for an oil change. I didn't have an appointment, but I knew I could show up for express service. I was told the wait time was 3 hours. I asked the service guy if he would put me down for a time 3 hours later and I'd go run errands and be back. He said their policy is that the car has to stay there in order to stay in the queue. I looked at him in disbelief and said "really?". I told him that was a ridiculous policy and I left. The following week I showed up at 6:45am to be one of the first in line. At 7:05am I saw service people inside and I started my car and turned the headlights on, so they'd know someone was waiting. After waiting a few more minutes, I got out of the car and walked to the door. It was locked. There were 4 or 5 service guys standing there talking and they just looked at me. This made me mad. I had been sitting there for several minutes waiting for someone to walk out and talk to me but this didn't happen. I had to be the proactive one and go get someone to check me in. After being looked at by the service guys I went back to my car. A few minutes later someone finally came out to check me in. I understand you're busy. Guess what? So are your customers. Trying to get a simple oil change is a complete hassle. The policy of not being allowed to check in, leave, and return is very inconvenient. But the worst part of all of this was not being waited on when I was the only car in the queue at 7am. This is very poor customer service.

    My check engine light came on and I took my Subaru crosstrek into mark miller for service. They ended up quoting me a $3,700 repair that included a new O2 sensor, fixing a camshaft leak, and labor. Turns out, none of that was even necessary. I showed some mechanic friends the bill and they were OUTRAGED at the cost. A couple of different friends took a look, cleaned off the sensors and that was it. They charged me $40 in labor for a clean up job. I am furious at Mark Miller and would highly recommend going elsewhere.

    I was really pleased with the service. I want to commend your service person who helped me. A man came up while the service guy was helping me and started asking questions. The service guy politely told him he would be glad to help him just as soon as he finished with me. That was so nice to have someone devote his full attention to me without interruption. Great customer service. When I went to pay the bill, the service guy explained everything. Again great customer service. I am one happy customer. Thanks!!!!

    My 2011 Forester lost its transmission at 61,000 miles with no hint that it was going out. Had it towed to Mark Miller Subaru Midtown after consulting Subaru of America. Brad in Service had it examined and submitted paperwork to Service Manager who contacted Subaru of America. Subaru paid for a one time install of a new transmission saving me thousands of dollars I really couldn't afford.

    had a forster with 50k miles on it and the mother blew up , they only warranted 70% , because could not come up with more that one receipt for oil change , charge 2500 for the repiar . they tired to tell me that was 30% of the bill . that would make the total bill somewhere around 12k , hell i can replace my dermax for that about , they are lying. buy AMERICAN they will warrant 100%.

    Mark Miller Subaru is awesome. I bought my car from them 2 years ago and I LOVE the outback. But I am writing today to compliment the SERVICE department for being incredibly friendly and easy to work with. In and out. Quick. My car runs beautifully and when something needs to be replaced (headlight, filter) they always tell me about it and give me options before the work is done. And the price of these items always amazes me because it seems so inexpensive! (A light for like $4! Nice! I think it was $12 down the street). When I was waiting for the oil change I got free coffee and sat in the cafe and surfed the web. Just wanted to say... a very pleasant experience. And thank you.

    Mark Miller; however, did return my car washed and vacuumed, in addition to completing my service requests. This is what I look for in a dealership and service center- the extra mile. And yes, it may be higher priced service compared to chain service center's; however, I like having the security of knowing that my car's warranty is definitely valid and documented appropriately along with a worry free experience. I will definitely be returning here from now on.

    I took my Subaru Legacy Outback to Mark Miller to resolve a power problem and was quoted an amount that seemed high, so I went to a competing dealer down the street who identified the same problem, but quoted me less than half the amount Mark Miller quoted for the same repair. I don't see a reason why it would cost more than twice to repair the same problem at Mark Miller, especially when the other dealer's facility was newer, cleaner and more professional.

    Went to Mark Miller for a tire change & oil rotation. Received a prompt response from an e-mail request, Kenny was very attentive. Car was done quickly, and the interior was clean (including door handles). Will return in the future.

    I love the new service center at the dealership. Waiting room is excellent quality - makes getting an oil change almost enjoyable. Work was fast, excellent, and surprisingly inexpensive! I'd definitely recommend it and I'll be back there again.
About our dealership
