The switch service performed during this visit had been mentioned in my 12/05/2014 visit… but no action was taken at that time. by tcommander on 10/20/2015We were in the shopping phase and wanted to test drive a couple of differnt cars. We stopped in on a saturday evening and Erick showed us an elantra and we test drove it, told him we had a couple of other places to shop and drive. He did… not pressure us, gave us his business card and said to call if we had any further questions. We ended up going back the following weekend and purchasing the elantra. He was with another customer so he introduced us to Ash and he helped us from there. Both of the salesmen where very nice and helpful. They did not have the exact car we wanted but the dealer in Humble did, so they (erick and ash) drove to Humble to get the vehicle for us ( this goes above and beyond customer service). The entire experience was great, everyone that helped us was very nice, friendly and willing to help when they could.First Hyundai

Would have appreciated a brief progress report after a couple of hours to let me know that work was going on or delayed. I've put over 600,000 miles on the cars and have been completely satisfied ever mile. Kerry Smith, my salesman, and… Chris Thomas were great to work with. Also, North Freeway Hyundai is absolutely the best. The best Service Department by far. By the way, I'm directly responsible for more than 40 Hyundai's being bought by relatives and friends of mine, including an Equus by my insurance agent, who also has a Santa Fe.Amazingly Awesome
by lopez2j on 08/14/2015I prayed and prayed about what I would do after my car accident. Before finding out my vehicle was a total loss, I was drawn to Hyundai. I knew it I would be able to stay within my budget, but when conducting research it was the safety… rating which made the final decision for me. When I told Kerry Smith about my situation, he was quick to assist me in finding a solution. Dave Harvey was willing to work with me while I waited for the insurance check. They both knew that I needed a vehicle ASAP and would not allow financial barriers to prevent me from driving off the lot anything less than happy. I could not be more pleased than I am with the service I received from Kerry and Dave! After experiencing a wreck which resulted in a total loss, I was at odds with purchasing a new vehicle. I really did not want a car note, and the hassle I experienced with the insurance company did not make the process any easier. However, these two gentlemen bent over backwards to ensure I am pleased with the vehicle I chose. Everyone at North Freeway Hyundai made this experience a pleasure, and I will be sure to let everyone know where to go for a new car. It's the little things that matter. by ronsu on 08/06/2015We purchased our 2006 new from the Humble store and had it serviced there for years till the North Freeway location opened. Simply closer is our only reason to change locations. We have had the continued Great experience with the Service… advisor Ellory Davis and recently with Bruce Haefner. Both men are honest and honor their quotes. We have also met the Service Manager Richard on many occasions and we find the entire staff to be personable and friendly. We now have 122K miles on our 3.3 Sonata and it is still growing strong and getting 28.5 - 30 MPG on the hwy. We have spent little in repairs and will buy again from this dealership when the time comes.Nice experience

I think we drove every Sonata to make sure we found just the one for us. Kerry really knew all the differences between each one and each package.… Very patient and friendly. We even bought TWO Sonatas. My wife ended up wanting one too after test driving them.Great experience

He compared all the Sonatas to get the best one for us. We loved them so much we bought TWO! Yes… TWO. We were only shopping for one but I had to trade in my vehicle and get me one as well. by Prowler_Owner on 06/05/2015Buying a car can be an emotional experience as well as a business transaction. Buying a Plymouth Prowler takes the emotional component up a notch. Prior to getting into the details of the entire experience; I want to bottom line this… – My Sales rep: Kerry Smith [contact info removed] Internet Sales Manager Grade A+ North Freeway Hyundai support staff (contracts, title, etc) Grade A+ My location: Southern California North Freeway Hyundai Location: Texas I have never before bought an out of state car. I have never before bought a car without seeing it in-person. This transaction was internet, email, phone and photos only! I will not detail posted price or the price I paid. The is a review of my buying experience – not price negotiation. I have always liked the Plymouth Prowler – I just never wanted to pay the money to actually own one. For me, it would be an occasional driver and be garaged most of the time. That changed about 6 months back. The number of times I brought it up in conversation with my wife began to increase in frequency. I started finding examples of cars for sale near us we could go see. I finally decided to take the plunge and told my wife I’d like to buy a Prowler and wanted her honest feedback. She also supported the purchase with a high level of enthusiasm. I finally found the car I wanted at North Freeway Hyundai (NFH). It was the model year I wanted (2000) which is the last year Plymouth produced the car. Chrysler took over production for 2001-2002 and then stopped making the car. It was the paint scheme I wanted (only offered in 2000). It had low miles (less than 2,000 – not a typo – less than two thousand). It still had the original tires and looked to be in very good condition. Keep in mind the car is nearly 16 years old. I contacted NFH expressing my interest in the car. Kery Smith called me the next day and answered my questions. The posting on the NFH website had ~20 photos of the car. Each time I asked Kerry for additional photos and he sent them to me by the end of that day. Making a sight-unseen purchase of this size made me nervous to say the least. Kerry assured me he does this often and would remain in support for as long as needed. There were several instances Kerry provided a high level of support during the couple months that followed delivery. More on that later. Once Kerry and I had arrived at terms we were both happy with I offered to make an immediate good-faith deposit via credit card. Kerry told me that would not be necessary – once I told him we have a deal – it was all he needed to move forward. It's how Texas does business he told me. I was happy to hear it! Of course I asked for a few more pictures and they arrived by days end. Kerry told me I could expect to hear from his contract folks soon. I received a call to confirm my address and paperwork arrived within a couple days via Fed-Ex. I returned it with a couple days with two checks enclosed. One for the car and one for the delivery company. Kerry arranged to have to car shipped. I let Kerry know I was concerned with uncovered shipping because the Prowler has a cloth top and they have been known to leak – even when new. Kerry offered covered shipping and assured me this is not the first Prowler he or his dealership have shipped and he has never heard of an issue with water through the roof. Kerry took the extra step and let me know he would make sure the car were strategically placed in the car carrier to help keep it covered. I was happy with that solution. I watched the weather between Texas and California over the next few days. When the car arrived my wife said it was prettier than she though it would be. I must say – the car arrived in very good condition. No surprises. Wow – there is a Plymough Prowler in our driveway! The car arrived with 28 days of temporary registration remaining. I was waiting for title paperwork prior to starting the process of California registration. Once I got to within a week of the temporary registration expiring I called Kerry. I let him know I don’t think I can complete the registration process within the next week and asked if another temporary registration could be issued. Kerry didn’t hesitate. He let me know I could expect it via Fed-Ex within a few days. I received a notice from the California DMV letting me know I need to have the car inspected, a smog-check certificate is required and I need to pay several thousand dollars in fees. I was quite surprised by this and called Kerry. I was happy Kerry was also surprised by this and he assured me no additional money from me would be required. Kerry called me within a few days and let me know all fees and taxes have been paid – it just needs to catch up in the DMV computers. Inspection at the California Highway Patrol went well and they provided the Approved certificate I needed. The inspection took 15 minutes and then I spoke with the officer about the car for another half hour. Now all I need is a smog certificate. The car failed smog. It failed because a sensor returned the message – ‘not ready to be tested’. The smog tech let me know if I drive the car for about 100 miles – the sensor should reset and be ready to test. Once again, I got to within a week of the temporary registration expiring and I called Kerry. I asked if another temporary registration could be issued. No problem. I offered to pay for this one because I felt the delay was my fault as I have other obligations that need my time as well. Kerry wouldn’t hear of it. He let me know he will support until the transaction is complete. After a weekend drive to put miles on the car – the car passed smog. Registration at the DMV also went well. The DMV clerk had questiions I could not answer so I called Kerry while I was standing at the DMV counter and he got the right people on the phone to talk with the clerk. The Prowler is now registered! I highly recommend Kerry Smith and the entire North Freeway Hyundai team. They will take care of you and keep their word.great experience
