by Informed Consumer on 05/31/2024Do not buy or deal with these dealerships before reading the reviews on the BBB and on-line. Be forewarned that several customers report that they are manipulated in giving the dealerships a high rating in exchange for a free service. If… the reviewer does not across the board give high marks, the offer for the free service is reneged. So be wary of any high marks. The three dealerships are owned by Paul Peebles. The General Manager at Humble Hyundai is John Kay and the Fixed Ops Director at the three dealerships is Tim Shipe. Rather than honor my safety recall appointment of three weeks, I was told that I needed to return because the part was not available and that customers need to come in first to have their VIN number and odometer photographed before the recall part can be ordered. Total BS. They then give you a 21-point inspection list of REQUIRED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION items: brake flush 169.95; fuel injection cleaning service 179.95; engine coolant 159.95; transmission fluid change 331.37; and most incredibly, an alignment of 119.95 for tire damage and abnormal wear [for 4 one-month old tires with alignment done at time of purchase]. $1,040.64 worth of unnecessary repairs. I was then put on a DO NOT SERVICE list at the three dealerships closest to my home - because I became upset when I was lied to and made to waste my time and work. This is a safety recall and one which these individuals are not addressing as required by federal regulations. They have no regard for customer's safety, time or money.Bait and switch

by Andyfs on 10/07/2021Worst dealer ever!!! They advertise a price in their website for a new Santa Fe for 32,770. I contacted Randy Todd to check on availability and price. After 3 or 4 emails, he never gave me any information. Then I called the dealership. Zach… was the person who attended the phone. He said they have the car. I made an appointment. When I showed up, Zach was not in the store. Marlon, another seller took over. He showed the car. Then he came with the numbers. Oh my God, they do FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. The price was like 15,000 more on what was in their website. I asked why and Marlon said that is what his boss said. I asked to speak with the manager. He came and I said that the price he gave me is not the same as the website. He said in few words it is what it is. I pointed that in they website said they have no hidden prices. THAT IS A LIE. Be careful doing business with North Freeway Hyundai. They for sure try to scam you. Find a different dealership if you canNorth Freeway Hyundai

He guided me through the process with professionalism and absolutely no hard sales tactics. While I was test driving, they appraised my car. We sat down, haggled a little bit and came… to an agreement. In and out of finance in no time. Car was ready and I was on my way home before I knew it. I had my 2 kids with me and they didn’t even have time to get frustrated. My salesman even bought them something from the vending machine. by NA on 04/24/2019JD was excellent, but I didn't say anything after I left the dealership with the vehicle, I decided to fix the things I found myself. The fuel gauge was broken, the AC stop working the day after, there was also 1 or 2 small things but it is… something I can take care of myself. Nothing bad about JD, he was very helpful. I just think the service dept slipped a little. It is hard to say esp when you read about things like that online. I should have checked harder than what I did. Beside those things, it is a solid vehicle and hopefully I won't have anymore issues once I have those I have found fixed. No worries.Love love love my Tucson!!
