Awesome Experience!!

Casper, Brandon & Adam were awesome. This is our first Lincoln. They made it very simple & easy through it all. I would highly recommend North Park Lincoln dealership. I would definitely return if we buy another vehicle.

    Do not believe North Park’s hype. Their customer service is subpar at best and dishonest at worst. If I could give them negative stars for service I would. I don’t think I’ve had a single good experience with this car sales/service company. They advertise a lie saying they have excellent customer service in an attempt to convince people to spend more with their company.

    We just leased a 2018 Continental Reserve from North Park Lincoln in San Antonio. I have to say that I have never written a review of any car I've purchased or leased, nor of the dealership where I got it. But the experience with North Park Lincoln was so exceptional that I felt that I had to share it with everyone. This is the first vehicle we've leased totally online. We had already driven the Lincoln Continental Reserve in the Dallas area, therefore we did not need to make a trip to San Antonio to test drive the car. Quite honestly, we would have liked to have leased from a local dealer, however we could not find the car we wanted, at the price we wanted. That being said, the online process was seamless, and our salesman, Walter Guzman, made it so. We could not have asked for a more knowledgeable, attentive salesperson. He was so quick to respond to our inquiries, always answering emails within an hour or two, sometimes less. We also felt that North Park Lincoln was not looking to try eke out the last penny on the deal. And since we had already done our homework, we knew what we were looking for, and for what price. We inquired about 3 vehicles, and Walter supplied payment information on all three, including all the details we asked for. We didn't feel like he was trying to hide anything at all. As soon as we saw his offers, we immediately made a decision on which vehicle we wanted. There was no need for going back and forth, haggling about the price, because we believed we received a fair offer. In our opinion, when both parties come away happy from a deal, then it's been a good one. Once we decided on the vehicle we wanted, Walter made all the arrangements, including offering a driver bring the car to us in Dallas within 2 days. Talk about service with a smile. We couldn't be more happy with our car, and the whole buying experience. We've never had one go so smoothly, and we have to thank Walter for that. He's the best. We even received an email today asking if we were enjoying our car, and if there was anything he could help us with. We'll definitely be going back to North Park Lincoln when this lease is up, and we hope that Walter is still there. btw...the car is simply amazing!

    North Park Lincoln is the place to visit and buy a Lincoln. Mr. Joe Lopez my salesman is a pleasure to work with and did an outstanding job in helping me select the right car for me. Everyone at the dealership was willing to help in any way they could.

    My wife and I have been coming to North Park for over 13 years and purchasing six vehicles for good reason. Their customer service is outstanding! I personally want to thank Sandy Small (Sales Consultant), Gilbert Hinojosa (Business Manager) and Trey Horner (Pre-owned Director) for making this another great experience. As a previous military member, my family and I have moved around a lot and have shopped for vehicles in many places. We always come back to North Park because their new and used vehicles are top notch and their professional courtesy is unmatched. There’s absolutely no sales pressure and they strive to accommodate your requests…within reason of course. Additionally, they make things right further adding to a pleasurable experience. Another plus is their service department. We are always greeted in a respectful manner and listened to carefully when describing what service or warranty repair is needed. Again, no pressure and as busy as they can be, their best is done to ensure your vehicle is correctly completed in a timely manner. They will always have our business!
  • Terrible Service for Takata Airbag Recall Repair

    We buy my wife a used 2008 Lincoln MKX. A month after buying the car she receives a recall notice about airbags in the car. North Park tells her they don’t have the recall replacement parts but they will call when they get it. A year later, another recall letter. This one says, "The Lincoln Motor Company previously sent you a letter notifying you of an important safety recall on your vehicle's front passenger airbag inflator. Lincoln continues to work closely with our supplier's to produce the needed parts for this repair. Until parts are available to repair your vehicle, Lincoln is offering to pay for the use of a rental vehicle as a means of alternate transportation. When parts become available, The Lincoln Motor Company will notify you via mail to schedule your FREE airbag recall repair with your dealer. Parts are anticipated to become available during the second and third quarters of 2018. If you require a rental vehicle while waiting for parts to become available for your vehicle, please contact your local Ford or Lincoln dealer." She shows me the new letter. I wonder whay the offer for rental and think it must be a very serious problem. I check the recall. The airbags explode on their own, or in minor wrecks and kill or seriously maim people with flying metal pieces. One woman had the artery in her neck slashed open by her airbag. She bled to death. I also heard the driver side airbag sua sponte explodes periodically. I immediately called the service line at North Park and am told they do not have the parts. I explain I understand and ask for a rental. The North Park service rep on the phone tells me I can’t bring it in for two days because the person who handles the recalls won't be in until then. I tell her I'll be there in the morning. I show up the next morning. The first person tells me they cannot help me because they don’t have the parts. I say fine, I’ll take a rental. He says he can’t. I read the letter to him, and ask for the rental. He speaks with a Service Lead and comes back and says no. I ask to speak with the Service Lead. The Service Lead tells me I have to wait for the part. I tell him fine, get my wife a rental. He says no, they only supply the rental when we bring the vehicle in for the actual recall repair and they won’t have the part but will call me when they do. I read him the letter, and explain the airbags kill people. I tell him that is probably why Lincoln sent the letter allowing us a rental so they don't have to pay billions in wrongful death claims and even more in NHTSA fines. He tells me no. I say, let me speak to your boss. His boss shows up. The same thing, not parts, no rental until the part comes in and we turn the car in for repair. She say I to make an appointment and I will get notice when a part comes in. I read to her the letter. She tries to tell me I am misunderstanding the letter. I tell her to give me a letter on North Park Lincoln letterhead explaining every excuse I was told by her and the other service reps and lead. I ask her to include in the letter that North Park has no parts available to make the recall repair, how the recall notice letter I have says no rental is allowed for my wife until a part comes in, and to have my wife and children ride in a car with the faulty airbags. I tell her to give me something in writing that says what she just told me and I will drive away. She tells me no, she won't put that in writing. She goes inside and, I assume, speaks with someone else while I make a phone call to a number she provided. I get hung up on by a machine. I look up the recall phone number on my own and am on hold when the North Park rep walks back up. She now says they can fit the car in next Wednesday, a week and half away. I ask why she told me they did not have the part for the repair. She says, “I never told you that.”, as if I can’t remember the conversation we just had moments before. I blow that off and say, “ok, where do you want me to leave the vehicle until the recall repair is made?” She tells me I am not leaving the vehicle there but I am to bring it back on Wednesday. We then go over the letter in my hand again. She asks me why it is so urgent all of a sudden. She says the recall has been going on for 2 or 3 years. I explain this is the first letter I read, tell her I had no idea this was the Takatta airbag recall to fix airbags that kill people, explain how my son, my wife and myself have ridden in this vehicle not knowing the danger. She tells me to just drive without someone in the passenger side of the vehicle, the airbag is safe in the driver side. I decide to not explain to her about the lady getting her throat cut was the driver of the vehicle. Instead I point out to this is a family car, and ask where should the passenger sit, in the hatchback section? She then tells me, well Hertz has no rental cars and won’t until Wednesday. She says Hertz is bringing vehicles in from Brownsville and I will have to wait to get the rental. This upsets me, but I stay calm and ask confirm that she is telling me Hertz has no cars in all of San Antonio, Texas they can rent me? She says yes. I say that is a lie. I call and reserve a rental at the De Zavala Hertz location. It takes me about 2 minutes. She is surprised to hear I reserved a rental. She says I have to pay for it out of pocket and get reimbursed. I ask her to put that in writing and she does. It is my opinion the service personnel at North Park Lincoln tried to do everything in their power to avoid making the recall repair and or supply my wife with a rental. If I was someone unwilling to stick to my guns the lies would have worked. I am truly disappointed that I was lied to about the Hertz rental availability as well. Maybe North Park treats other people better than me, but with me, they failed miserably to provide the service they claim to provide their customers. I will never buy a Lincoln again, and I will never go to North Park Lincoln again once the recall repair is done, if the recall repair is ever done at all.
    • Sir, I apologize for the inconvenience involved with this recall. Ford Motor Company and North Park are both doing our best to accommodate requests for rental vehicles as expeditiously as possible. I know our service manager Gary Ackels has been in contact with you and/or with your wife on rental car accommodations and getting you reimbursed through Ford Motor Co. for the out of pocket rental expense you incurred initially. Please contact either Gary or myself if we can be of further service during this time when we are waiting for replacement parts from Takata, and then going forward as well.     • Making it right after the fact does not remove the dishonesty at the beginning. However, the response from North Park is true. Gary did try to make it right. In fact, Gary almost convinced me to remove my bad reviews. I decided to let my review stand and take it down if the service improved. It did not. Gary did fine. Hertz has continued their terrible run at bad service in that they required me to waste my time coming back each month to renew the rental agreement. Additionally, North Park Lincoln continues to drop the service ball as well. Today I go to pick up the MKX after my wife is told the vehicle will be ready to go. I skip my son's track meet to make sure I pick up the car. I stand at the Hertz station waiting for some help. None comes. Plenty of North Park Lincoln employees walk by me. After waiting I ask a North Park rep if someone can assist me in turning in the rental. I am told the Hertz people left for the day. Okay. I can still drop off the key and get my wife's MKX. They pull the car up and have it ready for me to take. I open the passenger door to put my backpack in. Not only is the car not ready, the air bag is still in the box sitting in the passenger seat and the glove box is removed and laying on the floorboard. This morning was a complete waste of my time. This is not a recall problem, but a failure of the dealership. Failure to properly train their employees, failure to have redundant systems in place to make certain vehicles are ready to be picked up, and failure to tell the truth from the beginning of the process.

    This is our third purchase from North Park and I could not be more pleased. Kent (Casper) Kasperski is the best saleman I have ever worked with. I described exactly what I was looking for over the phone and Casper found the MKX within 30 minutes. Everything was handled over the phone and the delivery was smooth. I have since recommended Casper to my daughter and she had a similar experience. Excellent is the only way to describe it

    Kent (Casper) Kasperski at North Park Lincoln is an amazing man! He is what customer service is supposed to be. Professional, engaged, & knowledgeable about his trade. He helped my family buy a second car and figuratively held our hand along the way to meet our needs and our budget.     We had an incredible expierence with Jim Blair at North Park Lincoln. He took the time to answer all our questions on top of doing a lot of work to get us the best deal and best price on our trade in. I absolutely love my new Lincoln Navigator! Amy in the financing department had a lot of knowledge and we had a great experience with her as well. Top notch dealership. I highly recommend it.

    I wanted to thank Andy from North Park Lincoln for taking the time to work with me to answer my questions about a pre-owned car. I told Andy that I was calling from a considerable distance away from his dealership. I explained that I had other out-of-state car dealers not return my calls or e-mails. Andy took the time to send me detailed photos of the car and wanted me to know about each little cosmetic imperfection since I was not there to see it in person. Andy wanted to make sure I knew everything about the car, offered to have it independently inspected and even suggested good auto-transport services he’s worked with in the past should I need it. It’s refreshing to find someone so detail oriented and who is willing to take the time with customers whether they are in person or over the telephone. Although I didn’t end up buying the car, I wanted to make sure that Andy’s great professional customer service is recognized. I will certainly keep North Park Lincoln in mind in the future. Thanks again!

    Our salesman was Joe Lopez, Our Business manager was Mike Yuretich.. These guys were great. I looked in the Corpus area and neither dealer felt is was worth the time to work with me. Joe went out of his way to make sure my requests/questions/concerns were all addressed. Mike made the sale quick and efficient. It was well worth the 2 hour drive from Corpus for an enjoyable purchase.

    I recently purchased a vehicle from North Park Lincoln. Kent Kasperski was my salesperson. I live in Arkansas and flew into San Antonio to pick it up. Kent met me at the airport and brought me to the dealership. Everything was ready to go and I was on my way in 20 minutes. Great experience, and would highly recommend this dealership and Kent. First time buying a vehicle over the internet, but would do it again in a heartbeat.

    Initially we looked at a vehicle that we didn't love and left still on the search. Jim Blair listened to what we were looking for and called us back a few days later when the perfect vehicle came in. He was attentive, courteous, and most importantly a man of his word. Everything that he said he would do... he did! I highly recommend calling Jim Blair if your looking for a new vehicle. The entire team was awesome!

    My wife and I spent several weeks looking around at various dealerships in the Austin area and having the typical “used car salesman” experience every time. I was about to give up and just settle for something, assuming our expectations of price and quality were unrealistic. My wife found some seemingly “too good to be true” deals at North Park Lincoln and we decided to make the hour and a half trip to visit (with our 14 month old daughter). As soon as we arrived, we met Sandy, who is by far the most personable sales person we have ever met. Most used car sales people tend to live up to their stereotype, however, Sandy was amazing. She genuinely seemed like she was trying to build a long-term relationship with us as customers, was transparent throughout the whole process, and made us feel as if she wanted to offer the best possible deal for us from the beginning. After haggling with multiple salesmen over the past several weeks, it was a relief to talk to someone who’s top priority seemed to be what was best for us and not the dealership. She even gave our toddler some new toys from her drawer to keep her entertained, which my daughter loved. Above and beyond service. The car was extremely fair priced and the best quality we’ve seen for our budget, and they even managed to offer us better rates for financing than our pre-approved offer through our bank. We kept thinking there must be a catch somewhere, but there never was. North Park Lincoln has earned their reputation. Believe their high reviews. If you are shopping for a new or used car and are within driving distance, it is worth the trip. I am recommending Sandy and the North Park Lincoln team to everyone I know from now on.

    Went to PPL and let Joe Lopez who was so great we ended up buying two cars. This is the best salesman I've ever dealt with. Wow, North Park Lincoln truly has their act together. From sales to service they are the best. And Joe Lopez, you can't find a better guy to deal with. Also, back emd business office, Brian and Gilbert are amazing to do your final purchase with. Top notch, just top notch people. Thank you Joe Lopez.

    My wife and I have been buying cars from nplm for 20 plus years. The main reason was due to Jeff Marquez. He is always honest and up front and is never pushy. We were recently about to buy our 9 car and had an appt with the finance people. Both of us left work early to meet with them and we checked in at the front desk. After just over an hour of sitting there and watching many other customers walk in and get called we asked how much longer it would be. The girl at the front desk was talking to a person who was supposedly helping with the finance unit and we heard him say we'll just them we are busy and they have to wait. After already waiting over an hour with nobody ever asking us if they could help us we left. Really sad that nplm would have a person who doesn't understand customer service working with customers. He didn't even have the professionalism to come talk to us and explain. He had the girl do it. So after 20 plus years we decided to take our business elsewhere. Again the sales team was great but the finance team and mgt was a total disappointment
