Sales Associate Lovo at Lute Riley

We had an excellent sales experience with the help of Claudio Lovo. He was extremely patient and reasonable, answering our many questions clearly and credibly, and offering terms that seemed fair compared to other dealership experiences elsewhere. The dealership should be commended for having Mr. Lovo on board. The loan manager was extremely knowledgeable, personable and credible in all respects.

    Came in to view another vehicle but found different Honda Civic at a great price. Sales representative was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. Sold us exactly what we wanted not like other places that sell you what they want.

    never buy car from them i been calling and calling them and never return call every time i call they said they will call back never call back and never deal with shawn khan finance guy he for sure will mess up but sale guy is really nice his name is Thahne du

    We had a wonderful experience with one of the sales person Maricar Randall. She was kind and helpful during the entire sale process. We made a good deal on our new 2015 Accord Coupe. Will definitely recommend Maricar and Lute Riley Honda to my friends.

    After several hours of haggling. My wife and several year old daughter were ready to leave. It was nearly 10pm and my daughter was tired. We all were. Lute Riley would not give us our keys to our car which they had valet parked. They delayed giving us our keys back. Do not shop here" you have been warned. This is a terrible dealership.

  • Don't waste your time or money

    Our Honda Element went into limp mode at 120k miles. I took it to Lute Riley service. The service writer seemed more interested in data mining my personal info then repairing our car. He couldn't tell me what was wrong with the car. The service writer was more interested on up selling me on recalls and other services. I left went to another shop. The other shop told me within 15 minutes what was wrong with the car. The repair was to replace the accelerator pedal position sensor. Honda had a bad batch of APPS in the 2005-2008 manufacturing timeframe. Something the service writer would have and should have know much faster than an independent ship. APP1 was replaced in less than 15 minutes for less than the $120 Lute Riley wanted to diagnose the problem.

    Our family had a fantastic experience with salespeople Ricky Bobby Hawksley and Jeff Sowards. They were wonderful and went above and beyond the call of duty. We purchased a 2014 Honda Odyssey, and they helped with everything. Ricky Bobby Hawksley even went out in the rain to make sure that we got our "all weather floormats" correctly installed that day. Jeff Sowards called and helped out immediately when we ran into a minor issue with the cargo tray in the back. The price was great. The service was exceptional. We will be buying our next vehicle from Lute Riley Honda.

    *BUYER BEWARE* If you are a first-time car buyer, do NOT go here. They take advantage of (exploit) you every step of the way. And do NOT trust their finance reps. Ever. I recently purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle here and the initial experience was fairly positive; however, it started going down hill quickly as they took a very long time to complete our purchase and did everything they could to hide actual costs, interest rates, and everything in between. I should've caught on to the act, but I may have been preoccupied with my pregnant wife and daughter who were with me (yeah I know, probably not the best idea on my part). In the end, they screwed me on the price and lied to me twice about my interest rate (Grady). So congrats, Lute Riley Honda -- you took advantage us (first time car buyers, a family, and a pregnant woman). With that, I absolutely do not recommend anyone go here. They claim that they are such a unique company, that they offer great discounts, and feed you all of the BS about "hassle-free" prices, but it's the same as the other horrible dealers out there. Needless to say, I only got one key for the car and it was on 1/4 of a tank of gas. Hopefully they will keep on their promise to cut me another key. Either way, I certainly will not give them another penny.

    Test drove car on Sat. that needed power windows repaired. We agreed on a price if the windows were fixed and we would pick up on Wed. Confirmed Wed the car was ready and made appointment to buy car. Manager called 10 min later and said the car had been sold; and he did not know we had agreed to buy car. He throw the sales guy and other people in the dealership under the bus and said it was not his fault. My son is buying his first car with his own money and his first experience is with this very sorry excuse of a manager. I had several people calling me to "follow up" when if they had worked with the salesman; it would have clear. I have purchased a used here before and liked the salesman, but this manager is worthless. The worst car buying experience I have ever had in 30 years.

    Just bought my new Honda CR-V!! I was so excited to go in and find a new car, and couldn't have done it without our long time friend Shawn Khan, Senior Salesman at Lute Riley Honda. He is always the first person my family calls when thinking of buying a new car, and that says something because this is the FIFTH car we've bought with him!! We never knew him before coming to this dealership but now he knows our whole family by all of our names and treats us with the absolute best service when we go there. Always has looked out for us over his own benefit. He makes buying cars even more fun!

    I just bought a 2015 Accord. My 1st car since 1995 when I bought a Civic. Ken Quach helped me. I was truly surprise I could even qualify, but I did. Ken was helpful and I left satisfied, even though I hated to leave my Civic behind. I hope to keep this Honda almost 20 years. Wish me luck!

    I recently purchased a vehicle from Lute Riley Honda and was greatly surprised and impressed with the service we received. Our salesman Ahmad was absolutely wonderful. He listened to everything we said we wanted and was able to give us exactly that. He was extremely helpful and friendly. After purchasing the car we had a little problem and Ahmad sent us straight to the service center and he even met us there and stayed with us to make sure we were taken care of. We did not feel like we were being pressured or being cheated. And he got our car washed for us! Overall, I was greatly satisfied and will definitely come back to Lute Riley and see Ahmad for my next vehicle purchase.

    I am a senior citizen who put off buy a car for years because of the hassel. I did some research and decided I would like to look at the Honda CRV EXL. I went to a few dealerships and decided on a whim to drop by Lute Riley Honda. It was the best decision I ever made. Thant D. was attentive to my needs and made sure that he met every expectation and beyond. He was always respectful and really listened to what I was saying. The entire process was easy and fast. This was by far the best car shopping experience I ever had. I highly recommend Lute Riley Honda and Thant D. as a great sales consultant

    I went into my car shopping experience this morning with a bad taste in my mouth due to the experience I had at another Honda dealership a few days ago. Everything changed! I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Lute Riley Honda today. Shawn K. was amazing, professional, extremely caring, and respected the price range I wanted to stay in. Shawn and the other staff were so extremely helpful during the car buying process, which took MUCH of the stress out of the situation. I will continue to shop here in the future and I'm so grateful for the help I received today by Shawn and the staff at Lute Riley. Thank y'all so much!

    I can not say enough about my experience at Lute Riley Honda on Central Expressway and Campbell. My sales man was Shawn K. I was planning on buying a new car towards the end of the month and was only shopping around, but ended up buying a car the next day. It was not all about the price of the car, but the service and care that Shawn Khan provided me. He was really upfront and honest about everything. I could tell that he was not just trying to sell me a car and get comission, but he geniunely wanted to help me. My family came with me the day I bought my car and loved the Honda Accord 2014 that I ended up buying. My family also was a huge fan of Shawn K. because of his honesty and customer service. I will recommend all my friends who are planning on buying a Honda to shop at Lute Riley Honda off of Central Expressway and Campbell and to have Shawn K. be their sales man! THANKS SHAWN!!!

    I highly recommend this dealership. Ke C. was my used car sales representative. He listened to everything I said. He knew exactly what I wanted and made sure I got it. I bought a 2008 Honda Civic and this dealership reconditioned this car to the point that, in my opinion, it looks like a brand new car. Even smells new. New tires, state inspection, dealer inspection, emissions inspection all have made me feel safe and secure even in a 6 year old car. Ke C. did not do any back and forth negotiation whatsoever, and did not make me feel pressured at all. I have bought 6 cars in my life and this is the first time I felt calm and comfortable signing all the paperwork and no nervousness about it. I wasn't pressured to buy GAP or a Warranty, although they went ahead and explained everything thoroughly. I will definitely come back to this dealership for my fiance's next car in the near future.

    Complaint sent to dealer, never got a call! 1) Salesman didn't know where the cars were located. We wasted time driving to 4 or 5 lots to find the 2010 cross tours. Shouldn't you know where your inventory is? 2) You never showed me the numbers. All I kept getting was a handwritten note with a payment on it. I kept asking over and over to see the numbers. Since I had just negotiated almost the same deal at another honda dealer, I knew the numbers were off, and that I was due cash back from the trade. Finally, they said they made a mistake and had FORGOT the car had a red tag on it for $5000 less. Either you are completely incompetent or you were trying to rip me off. BUT you still wouldn't show me the numbers till I got into finance. I've never seen this scam before. 3) Trade in. I kept asking what I was getting for my trade, over and over. Finally they told me. Was that so hard? 4) Lease period. I kept asking to see the payment on a two year lease and never received it, you kept saying it was not available, though I know it was, I just did it at another dealer that day. p.s. I did not buy at the the other dealer, because all they had were 2011 models and I wanted to see if I could get a better deal on a 2010. 5) Time. In all I spent seven hours at the dealer. Really? 6) XM satellite. I never received any information about the XM satellite. I had to go on line to figure out all I have is a 90 day test period with them. 7) I received a notice from my insurance company that Honda requires auto insurance liability increased to 100/300/50. The increase in premium would be $55 per 6 months. This should have been told to me at closing.

    I bought an Honda Insight from Lute Riley and am very happy with my purchase. The salesman, Mark Dupuy, was honest and up front about the cost of the vehicle. I was given the full cost of the vehicle off the lot over the phone, and when I came in, the price was the same. No bait and switch. Just up front and honest pricing. I received an awesome financing rate, fair price, lots of useful information on the vehicle, and they even helped me setup the bluetooth phone capabilities before I drove away. Overall, they made my car purchase as pain-free as possible!

    I bought a used car from this dealership, and they are the poster children for [violative content deleted]. After I signed the contract, they tell me they only have one key for the car....if I wanted one, they would be glad to make one ...for $185. The car did not have floor mats, they connected one stereo speaker so I would hear something, when I was not happy with the sound, I discovered they had installed a pair of $5 speakers, as the previous owner took his after market speakers out. If you want a quality used Honda, try Car Max or some other Honda Dealership, not [violative content deleted.
  • Beware! Dishonest, Inconsistent, Lies!

    I was doing initial internet shopping. I bought my old car from them 12 years ago and I thought they'd be at least decent with me. But this is the one and only dealer sending me inconsistent price quote. First, their sales lady quoted tax + TTL = $1590. Then after I ask them to give me breakdown of TTL (because it seems high), their manager emailed me back with tax+TTL= $1925. $335 higher! When I asked them what's going on, they've been evasive, not straightforward, and then being rude by calling me and arguing with me over the phone. I told their manager that if they already started lying and cheating and being so inconsistent on internet quote with me, how can I trust them even if we reach the price point that I'll accept. Because I'll never know whether they'll do something else behind my back and screw me in the actual package I'm getting. I can't trust them! Case closed! Also, they'll try to sell a lot of add-ons to you even after I told them specifically that I want a base package. DON'T DEAL WITH THEM AND DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!
