From our first contact… (internet) with David McDavid, to our first test drive and through many subsequent follow up calls Gabe provided in depth product knowledge and great patience as we worked through our decision. He also went over and above to get us the deal we needed to have. The car was delivered as promised, Matt walked us through the paperwork, and we got an excellent final overview from Gabe before we left with our new MDX. Over the first two weeks of ownership the follow through by Gabe has been outstanding. We certainly feel that the team at David McDavid is going over and above to make sure that we are completely satisfied with our new purchase ... and we are. When I need my next car I am going straight to Gabe S. and David McDavid in Plano.We are pleased to hear that we have been your smoothest transaction when dealing with car purchases. Worst ever...
by davidnz1 on 12/29/2012updated 06/10/2025Called and spoke to the salesman(Tim S.) on a used prius they had listed ..Agreed on the selling price over the phone and i told Tim that The funding would be done with my leasing company and tried to give them all the info. on the leasing… company so the could call and get the paper work in order... we buy cars for our company every year in the same manner.... he said that i still had to come in ..which i did ..nothing was done when i got there and he passed me to Sotero N. and i had to waste 2 hours .....by this time the leasing company in the east coast was closed.....Now they wanted my to fill a credit app...which i didn't need or wanted to do and have a hard hit on my credit files...the car was going bo leased in the company name.... they could NOT grasp that concept... worst car buying experience EVER...... NOT sure how the manager to stay in business..Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We value this feedback and will use this to ensure we provide quality service going forward. I decided to make one last stop at David McDavid Acura in Plano because I saw a few used cars on the lot with reasonable prices. I… was immediately greeted by John who offered to show me some of the better cars on the lot. He was very honest, steering me in a few different directions based on my requirements and preferences. He treated me with the utmost respect, did not pressure me into anything, and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. John and the rest of the team made the whole car-buying process very painless. Being my first experience, I did not feel overwhelmed. They laid everything out in front of me and guided me in my decisions without pushing me to do anything I either did not want or couldn't do. They offered to clean and detail my new car and made sure I got everything I needed with the car. I would recommend John and David McDavid Acura in Plano to anybody in the market for a vehicle purchase.
