  • A sweet experience was soured at the end

    I found a nice car, 2015 BMW 328i, with only 73K miles at a fair price. The salesperson, Efraim, was great but problems arose with financing. As a military veteran I had already secured full financing with USAA at 3.59% but was told because I lived in another state they would not accept it. Which I thought was shady. The financial manager subsequently offered me a outrageous interest of 8%. At that point I was walking the door only to be met by the salesperson saying they found a lender at 4.79%!!! Which I reluctantly accepted because I didn't want to drive 4 hours back to Louisiana without a car that I desperately needed. The extra 1.2% cost me over $700. That was very disappointing. I'm always wary of the financial tactics of car buying. It was on a Saturday so they deducted $200 for not being able to replace the cracked windshield. But after all the paperwork was signed I received one last blow to the gut. The car only had one key remote! After a long 4 hour drive and the financial wranglings, it never occurred to me to ask about the number of keys. Being a BMW dealership I thought that would not be an issue. That's going to be an expensive oversight for a customer to bear, at least $400! Hopefully the tires which are not a match are all run flat, as BMWs don't have a spare. I would have giving Advantage a 5 star rating if not for those major issues. I can still recommend them but beware of the backdoor financing shenanigans.

    This dealership is top rated. Barry Thomas is professional and he is very knowledgeable about the ends and outs of the service procedures. Barry is an excellent service advisor. I have a BMW dealership which is closer but I always come to Midtown to get great service. I definitely will refer family and friends to this dealership and Barry Thomas as a service advisor.

  • Friendly , chaotic - don’t bring your EV for service

    Service person was friendly- however that a regular service for a BMW i3 takes 4 business days is not acceptable. Yes a loaner car was offered me on day 2 , but only on my complaint. I was also mentioning that I contemplate to buy a new BMW i4 and I didn’t get any referral further from this . Just bad. BMW Germany would be ashamed of this service and customer care .

    Excellent service with video documentation on receiving and during the process. Very informative. It’s a Monday and loaner car crunch, so tried their shuttle service that literally would take you anywhere in Greater Houston area. It’s nice to have this in a 5-series.

I'm a loyal customer due to repeated superior service. My service advisor was Armano Gonzalez.
