    I was not really looking forward to having to purchase a new car, but Tye and and sales team at MacHaik made this a great experience. They made sure that I knew all of the options available between the SUV models and trim packages, and I feel as if I walked away with a great car at a great price!

    Lawrence did a great job throughout. Only complaint is with the finance guy, who balled Lawrence out in front of me for suggesting I could get a loan rate half of what he presented to me. Then proceeded to find a rate that was cheaper than Lawrence told me. Nice guy until he found out I wasn't a buyer of his incentives, then became noticeably short and less friendly. All in all, Lawrence and his sales manager were pleasant to deal with. I would recommend Mack Haik to someone in my same situation.

    In all my car buying experience, this was the first time we encountered a knowledgeable salesman-Brian Williams. I am the owner of 3 other mustangs, and have owned them for over 10 years and this is the first person that actually taught me and brought me up to date about this car and not only about this mustang al other kinds he knew about! It was very refreshing to actually encounter a salesman who actually cared and didn't push me into a purchase.

    Great experience from beginning to end. Only hiccup was when the accessory salesman tried to sell me the all weather floor mats that already came with my truck. But with that being said no one tried to pressure me into buying anything that I didn't want.

    I purchased a new F150 from Mac Haik Ford, specifically from sales associate Roy Casas. Roy and the rest of the team at Mac Haik were excellent, particularly in the fact that they respected my time throughout the process, which is my biggest complaint in the car buying experience. The negotiation process was transparent, fair, and very quick - with no efforts to pad the bill with items already included such as wheel locks and paint protection. A+

    I was looking for a particular car with certain features for my wife for our 25th wedding anniversary. I told her that I would get her anything she wanted. Little did I know she would want a car that was tough to find. She wanted a Focus hatchback with the titanium trim package which was not hard to find. The hard part was the color ,performance blue. I found one in Houston 135 miles away. After looking online Iwas contacted by a sales representative Edwin Brown I made the trip and Edwin made it happen. When I requested a delivery to your dealership in Victoria Edwin made that happen with 1 day notice. When I took my wife to get her car your Victoria sales manager Jimmy Stewart had it waiting with a huge red bow on it. That was the perfect touch.     Granted, we did a lot of research ahead of time and had decided what vehicle we waned and what options were important. We've purchased over 15 new vehicles in our experience. We found what we wanted at Mac Haik. The inventory selection is very extensive. We live I Louisiana and he drive to Houston was worth the effort. The transaction was painless. Of course, they'll try to sell a few options but if you're experienced and stick to your guns you'll be fine. We got our price point and completed trade within a couple hours of arriving.

    I know this is rather old, but I will tell you my story. I purchased a new 2004 Mustang Convertible. When I picked up my car, I ordered some extras, a convertible roof cover when the top was down and air dam that blocked air flow behind the front headrests. When I drove the car home, I noticed the back bumper had some paint scraped off and immediately went back to the dealership. The sales manager told me to pick up the car in 2 days. When I arrived, they gave me the parts I ordered for free to compensate me for my time ($350). Would I buy from them again? I will certainly give them a shot. I am looking at getting a 5.0.

    This is a conversation I had with one of the salemen at Mac Haik Ford concerning the purchase of a 2008 Ford Focus. I had bought a Ford vehicle here previously and this is how I was treated as a returning customer. You will have to read the email starting from the bottom up and I left 4 spaces between emails to make it easier to read. I can beleive the audacity of this so called sales person. You sir, have crossed the line. I will be contacting Ford Motor Company Customer Relationship Center at [violative content deleted] first thing in the morning to file a complaint. After you response, I don't want to purchase a Ford vehicle after owning 6 Ford vehicles. I will be posting this complete email on Edmunds.com, ConsumerReports.com, AAA.com, BBB.com, and every Ford automotive forum in which I'm a member.     • I totally agree with this review. I just visited them this past week and Thomas Simmons was my salesman as well. He pretended to be so nice and sincere until I refused to put down more money than what he wanted for a very small vehicle that was worth only 15k. It went from $500 to $2000 and my score is 660. He went on to tell me about his 3 wives and 6 kids and how black people were more racist than whites during his army career. I didn't know why he was telling me that he grew up with a black servant in NJ and how much he loved her. I assumed that he was trying to be my buddy since I am black. His attitude totally changed when my fiance got there and he is white. Weird enough after my fiance left, he went back to the finance office and asked for more money. I told him let me think about it. I returned the next day to say that he didn't have a deal and all of a sudden, I could get into any vehicle that I wanted with a large doown. At first he went on to say that my score was low and how the banks wanted more money etc etc. I told him that I could get approved with 0 down with that score. He had the nerves to tell me that no other dealer could get me approved and he hope that I don't walk away this deal because some other woman tried and she ended up not getting a vehicle at all. He called me later on that day with a single cab ford ranger for 18k. He knows that I have a toddler son and he and his finance manager Mike told me that I could not get another vehicle and Thomas had the nerves to say that I could turn the airbags off! I got up to leave and he said let me see if I can get an extended cab, and he came back saying that he could. I asked him about an escape which was $2100 more and he told me with $6k I could get into that vehicle. I walked out. He called me this morning and left a voicemail saying that I can get into that vehicle with $3500. I went to a very nice toyota dealer and they approved me on the spot for a vehicle that is $27k and no down pymnt. Let me tell you, I have never experienced such attitudes as these people at Mack Haik. I love the new place and I am picking up my car today. If it slithers like a snake, hiss like a snake, then it is a SNAKE. thomas simmons is a snake.

    I requested and received information from Xavier M. at this dealership. The information was received promptly. Xavier was very professional and informative. I had the feeling that he was with me throughout my research of this particular vehicle and dealership. They had a vehicle I was interested in, but the price was higher than what I wanted to pay. I would recommend that if you are interested in finding your car via the internet, contact Xavier.

    They don't even deserve one star, but the site makes you rate at least one. If you're looking for an honest dealership - DO NOT go to Mac Haik!! We were buying a car for our son, and once he test drove it and fell in love with it, they raised our agreed upon price, which was the Internet advertised price, $1000 and the spray in bed liner that was originally included was no longer included. When I complained to the GM, he didn't see anything wrong with that. Save yourself some trouble and some money and go anywhere else. I've got that Mac Haik feeling alright, and there is nothing good about it!!! And don't trust my word, look at other reviews, there are many poor reviews! I wish I had looked before I wasted my time and gas driving down there!!

    I was very satisfied with Ellis showing me the ford edge. and when that model was too small for a tall fat man, he showed me two other models; but they were too small also. he finally showed me a lariat F-150 which was plenty big enough; but I did not like running board, so I did not buy a ford; but salesman was very patient with me.

    This dealership attracts you by advertising low prices, but then they make it up offering you a pittance for you trade in. If you want a fair value for your trade in, you should at least double the price they offer you. Or just stay away. Personal experience.
