Mac Haik Ford Houston
Dealership Sales Review
This is a conversation I had with one of the salemen at Mac Haik Ford concerning the purchase of a 2008 Ford Focus. I had bought a Ford vehicle here previously and this is how I was treated as a returning customer. You will have to read the email starting from the bottom up and I left 4 spaces between emails to make it easier to read. I can beleive the audacity of this so called sales person. You sir, have crossed the line. I will be contacting Ford Motor Company Customer Relationship Center at [violative content deleted] first thing in the morning to file a complaint. After you response, I don't want to purchase a Ford vehicle after owning 6 Ford vehicles. I will be posting this complete email on Edmunds.com, ConsumerReports.com, AAA.com, BBB.com, and every Ford automotive forum in which I'm a member. In addition, I will be sending this email to the following people. William Clay Ford, Jr. Executive Chairman Alan Mulally President and Chief Executive Officer Michael E. Bannister Executive Vice President (Chairman & CEO Ford Motor Credit Company) Lewis W. K. Booth Executive Vice President Ford of Europe and Volvo (Chairman, Volvo and Ford of Europe ) Mark Fields Executive Vice President and President The Americas ***The email lists all the top people but I had to remove some due to limited characters*** Jerry ----- Original Message ---- From: Thomas Simmons [violative content deleted] To: [violative content deleted] Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2008 6:07:28 PM Subject: RE: Your vehicle info from Mac Haik Ford I spent a lot of time explaining to you that I would not tolerate anything that might lead to anything that is not customer oriented satisfaction. You obviously have a problem. I will not sell you anything ,ever. I just looked at some other dealer's ads and it seems they're doing the same thing but it is made clear in their ad. In addition, I do not see the 2008 Ford Focus for 9,999 you are talking about with a 24 month lease. I never mention this anywhere in my email. As for you the rest of your response, I didn't ask for the amount of time you have worked there and didn't accuse you of playing games. I surely hope you're not implying that I was playing games. I merely asked you about the ad before continuing the process. To be honest, your email didn't come across with a satisfactory tone, so I will not be looking to buy another car with Mac Haik Ford. In addition, I will be forwarding the following email to the Ford Customer Relations department. Please do not contact me any further and remove my email address from any mailing list that Mac Haik Ford maintains. The $3,500 applies only to the Diesels. Under the $9,999 on the Focus explains it is a 24 month Lease. That number is the total of the 24 months of payments. I have been here as of today 8 years and 10 months. I am not going to play games.
