  • Great experience

The moritz staff was great. Found me exactly what I wanted and treated me like a real person, I didn't feel like I was just another number. I would recommend they to everyone.
  • Friendly People, Low Pressure Sales

Moritz Chevrolet went the extra mile(s) necessary to find the truck I was looking for in my budget, despite very specific guidelines from me. This is the third vehicle I have bought from them, and I imagine I'll be back for the fifth in a… few years.

  • Excellent Service and Salesmen

    5 out of 5 starsby Kevin20159595 on 11/28/2015

I purchased a 2015 2LT Camaro from Moritz on early mornign November 9th. I originally wanted to wait to get the 2016 model, but other circumstances made me have to compromise for the 2015. However, I had done my research for at least one… year and knew what decor and options I wanted and was willing to bend on some. I was greeted by Michael, but after he found my name in the computer and that I was talking with Derrek a few months earlier about the 2016, I was then re-introduced to Derrek again. I was a hard negotiator for the pricing I wanted. They threw in some already dealer installed items, and items I wanted (striping/floormats), but it wasn't installed at the time, they went halves on. I informed them that If I was to buy that day, I wanted to have the car with me at work no later than 12:45 since I had to clock in at 1pm. After all was said and done, I arrived at work with Derrek following myself and another sale member to my employer. I've heard horror stories from people that have been at dealerships all day working with the salesmen and sales managers to get what they wanted, but I really like the service that I've received. I'm happy with my sales experience, and the service department on the installation of my stripes and floor mats. I'd recommend Derrek and the Moritz dealership to anyone looking for a new vehicle from them.
  • Be wary of their add-ons

    1 out of 5 starsby rmurphy1 on 08/29/2015

They will tack on a premium for nitrogen filled tires. It has been proven this does not add any benefits to the vehicle. Only a way to collect more money from you.
  • Excellent customer service

I was thoroughly impressed with moritz Chevrolet and have bought several cars from them in the past and they have gone above and beyond each time. Customer for life.
  • Happy Buyer from Roberto at Moritz Chevrolet

    5 out of 5 starsby srmata7162 on 06/13/2015

My husband and I love Roberto this is our second vehicle purchased from him and we plan to come back next year to buy a car for our daughter through him.
  • Good deals... Great Experience

    5 out of 5 starsby Jhn_15 on 06/10/2015

The overall experience was pretty good. I was able to come in on a Friday and look at the vehicle i wanted. Test drive it and then be able to discuss trade-in values. Before the end of the day i was driving out of the dealership with my new… vehicle and feeling good about the overall experience. Though it was a little tough to try and get some extra rebates, the salesperson was highly knowledgeable and courteous. I felt like i got a relatively good deal. The vehicle was exactly what i wanted. I would return to Moritz (already have for accessories) and would recommend them to friends and family. Keep up the good work!
  • Great sale experience, after sale just ok

4 out of 5 starsby captainbluray on 06/06/2015

ales process was easy and low pressure. We had done our research and salespeople came to a price we were happy with. Only negative is that I was told I would get the next 2 years of oil changes (up to 4) free. A week after I got the car,… OnStar told me I needed an oil change. Figured it was probably just a sensor issue; took it to Moritz service and they told me it would need the oil change. The service personnel told me it would count against my 4 changes, even though I bought the car only 2 weeks earlier. I asked him if the dealership changed the oil before customers took possession of the car and he just shrugged and said "sometimes they do, sometimes they don't". Sales experience was good, after sale so far hasn't impressed, but after my free oil changes I'll be taking it to Firestone anyway.

  • Will be a returning cuatomer

5 out of 5 starsby Kitchensta on 04/25/2015

Started off in used cars and ended up in the new. In the used car department the manager Brad was great and the salesman I was with in used cars,Wes, was not pushy or anything. Tried to find what I wanted and walked me down to the new car… department when I told them I wanted to look at new. He handed me off to a Robert and I found exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely be returning for future purchases.
  • BODY SHOP REPAIR

5 out of 5 starsby LydiaAnn on 03/16/2015

My 2011 Chev vehicle was rear ended and required a new bumper. I chose Moritz Body Shop because I had purchased the vehicle through Moritz and wanted to ensure authentic Chev parts. They have insurance specific collision agents who handle… the claim to ensure all insurance requirements are met. Their estimate was approved immediately, they worked with me and my schedule in making the repair, and the repair was done in one day. The job they did was great and I have no complaints.
  • Should have turned and ran away at the 1st Red Flag

    1 out of 5 starsby kira7 on 08/08/2014

This is about their New Sales Dept. Just dealt with these uninterested motley crew [non-permissible content removed]. Took an hour to get there to waste 3 hours of our lives we'll never get back. 1st Red Flag: Salesman (Andy) walks up to us… and immediately says, "Um, I need to let you know that the price on the internet for the car was a mistake. This salesperson had been emailing with my husband back and forth all day and waits til we get all the way out there to tell us the price was a "MISTAKE." Says it has been corrected to about $2000 more than what it was being advertised at." Ummmmm, really? 2nd Red Flag: They would not, could not, refused, to give us the appraisal amounts on our 2 trade-ins until AFTER they knew the exact dollar and cent amount of our pay-offs. Really? Any other dealer we've dealt with didn't care how much we owed on our cars. What they were willing to give us for trade-in is "what they were willing to give us", no matter what we owed on them. You give the person what their car is WORTH. 3rd Red Flag: I went in with print-outs of KBB's estimated trade-in values of both our trade-in vehicles. One showed $15,951 and one was $19,793; and I was being modest and used only the "GOOD" condition option to get the value. not "EXCELLENT" and not "VERY GOOD". Even though both vehicles ARE in excellent condition. AND I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE THIS FACT! They offered us $11,000 and $17,000. REALLY? The manager never once came out to speak to us and tell us why they were trying to rob us. I asked our salesman to go ask the manager if he would come up on the trade-in values and he did go ask (of course). He came back and said "No", the manager won't budge. Again, no show of respect to us by coming out and speaking to us and let us know why he was being so GREEDY. I absolutely PROMISE you that they would have bought our vehicles from us at $11,000 and $17,000, and turned around and sold them on their used lot for at least $16,500 and $22,500. A $5,500 profit on EACH vehicle. I'm sorry, Mr. Sales Manager, that you insisted on trying to hose us and make a killing on our cars. What happened to making a fair profit on each customer? Instead, you tried to make a KILLING on ONE customer. Or maybe you were just trying to make up for your $2,000 mistake on the price of your new car, plus some! We've purchased probably 25+ vehicles between me and my husband over the years, and this was the worst experience we've had. All other dealers have been very fair, have not used bait and switch tactics, nor have they based their valuation of our trade-in based on what we still owed on them. I want to [non-permissible content removed], but I'm too nice. If you read this and STILL decide to buy from these people, then you have no one to blame but yourself. You've been warned.
  • BAD EXPERIENCE AT MORITZ

1.5 out of 5 starsby gregoryayca on 01/15/2009

I took my Jeep to Moritz in response to an advertisement coupon offering Oil Change, Tire rotation and 25 point inspection for $20, since they are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm I thought it was very convenient for me; I got there about 5:00… pm and I requested Oil change and Tire rotation and presented the coupon, I also wanted them to inspect a possible leak in the steering power when the advisor told me: We can not do that at this time because our technicians leave at 5:00 pm.; I said Ok, just do the oil change and tire rotation, I'll come back tomorrow for the inspection. I waited in the customer lobby for about and hour, then the advisor came and told me: I' am sorry we did the oil change but we can not do the tire rotation because when we tried to remove a lug from the tire we broke the stud, so the person is afraid to continue with the rest and broke them too. He explained me that it happens sometimes when you don't remove the tire from a long time and that fixing it will cost me about $100 dollars. Anyway if you want to fix it we can not do it at this time (it was about 6:00 pm) because we don't have the part available. He told me that the car was going to be ready in 15 more minutes and left. After waiting 15 minutes I went to service area to pick up my car and the advisor was gone. Other person told me that I should go to the office to pay for the oil change. The next morning I called Moritz and spoke with the same advisor I told him that they should fix the broken stud at not cost to me. He again told me that it was not their fault but if I decide to go ahead with the repair of the power steering leak they might consider fix it. Well I took my car to someplace else and fixed the broken stud for $35 dollars and they had no problems with removing the other lugs. I never will go back to Moritz at Fort Worth again
  • My best car buying experience

After visiting few other dealers, I walked in to Moritz Chevrolet where I was promptly greeted by Tony G. Tony welcomed me to the dealership and started identifying my needs in a new vehicle purchase. I had my eyes set on a Equinox and Tony… immediately pinpointed two separate units he had in stock. He spoke about pricing and my expectations of financing and payments. After that brief discussion he got two separate set of keys and plate in his hands and we went out to look over the options of the two units his expertise had quickly identified for me. He showed me the difference in the different trim levels, pricing and options associated with each. After discussing and looking around several other units I decided Tony had already identified the Equinox I wanted and had the keys in his hands. So we took off on a test drive where all the options of the Equinox were pointed out to me and all my questions were answered. We went in and started the negotiation stage. A area of this process, that as a women I was completely intimidated by. Tony settled my nerves quickly. He was not what I expected from a salesman and he did not seem rushed or pushy but wanted me to understand exactly what I was getting and how I was benefitting from coming in to his dealership. He allowed me space to make phone calls and never tried to push or intimidate me. At each step he asked questions to insure my comfort level. He pointed out several advantages of his in house financing and his dealerships vast availability of lenders. Being from the finance industry myself I was pretty in tune with financing terms and what I would qualify for. Tony and his management team explained to me the different terms available to me and seamlessly got me over to Chris in the finance department. Chris also made me feel very comfortable as he explained available warranties and the price of, never pushing me to a decision but explaining the benefits and the cost of to me. He allowed me time to make a decision. I had drove to the dealership in a vehicle I never intended to trade in. So I had two vehicles at the dealership when I came out of finance. Tony quickly volunteered to follow me home and give me a ride back to the dealership as my Equinox's detail was being finished up. I felt completely comfortable at this point and accepted his offer. We took my other vehicle home and came back to pick up my Equinox. Tony still was not tired of my endless questions and took the time to set up my On Star account and the blue tooth on my phone. He had covered everything by this point so I was completely satisfied with my purchase experience and Moritz Chevrolet. I would absolutely recommend Moritz and Tony to any car buyer out there, not only my family in which I have done already but anyone who appreciates a upfront no haggle transaction.
  • They KILLED MY Credit & I DIDN'T EVEN BUY A CAR FROM THEM!!

I was looking at a 2002 Porsche Boxster and had driven over a couple hours to get there. The car was in terrible condition….no owner's manual, the electronic key did not work, rim damage, underneath the drivers side was ripped up and the… car SHOOK VIOLENTLY at speed! There were the usual dents, chips, etc. you would expect from a used car. But for "their expert mechanics" to NOT NOTICE what I was able to see in just a few minutes is BOLOGNA. Further, I elected to try to purchase car, IF certain items were fixed. We went to credit app phase and it got there too late that day. The credit guy told me he would wait and do it tomorrow. Fine with me, I had a long drive home. Got to thinking it would take TOO MUCH MONEY ON TOP OF THE HI PRICE OF THE CAR to bring it into ROAD-WORTHY condition. Told BOTH the salesman and the finance guy THE VERY NEXT DAY TO CANCEL DEAL. I called them both and told them there is no way THIS CAR IS ROAD WORTHY AND THEY WERE NOT GOING TO COME DOWN FROM RETAIL PRICE WHEN THE CAR IS ROUGH!!! So just CANCEL THE DEAL. They did not like it but they said they could not budge on price. THIS CAR WILL TAKE THOUSANDS TO REPAIR AND IS A HAZARD BY BEING UNSAFE AND IS NOT ROAD WORTHY AND IT IS STILL FOR SALE TO THE FIRST SUCKER THAT BUYS IT!!! This dealership was not willing to do discount or do ANYTHING MORE THAN BALANCE A TIRE. Two weeks later I am getting notices that Moritz has been illegally submitting my credit ALL OVER TOWN TO VARIOUS LENDERS….EVEN AFTER THEY WERE TOLD TO CANCEL!!! That is illegal or should be. I called and left a message with Credit Manager and still I keep getting more letters….who knows what they are doing to my credit rating. Do NOT TRUST these people with your precious credit information. They did not present a vehicle that was suitable for driving. They did NOT ACT PROFESSIONAL during the buying process. They cannot be TRUSTED….ESPECIALLY WITH YOUR CREDIT INFORMATION. Isn't there a law that is SUPPOSED to PROTECT US from dealers that act like this? Do yourself a favor and steer clear of these guys!! You don't need a law to NOT FALL FOR THEIR LIES!! If they lied to me and tried to push a shotty car off on me….they WILL TRY to do the same to you. Except if they have your credit information….BE AFRAID!!!

Went to the dealership on a whim one Saturday to look at cars for my wife. Found the car she wanted and Tony (sales guy) worked with me to get the price I wanted. I was pretty hard to deal with, but he hung in there and we reached an… agreement. This is the second vehicle I have bought new from Moritz and it's easy every time. They always take good care of me. I have purchased three cars from other dealers and never left the same day with the car because of some hangup somewhere. I have had keys in hand same day both times with Moritz. FYI - I read the review from 'homeboy981' before I left mine and found it hilarious. He clearly doesn't know how getting a loan works with shopping around for the best rate. But then again... he was about to buy a Boxster. Really hope homeboy got that Boxster.
