    Inquired on a used car and questioned car fax report of failed emission and then passed 7 days later in the care of the dealership. Sales representative reported service shop said low battery charge. Claimed it was due to winter weather beginning of December 2024. If you know cars then you know this is BS. Shady dealership trying to sell crap. Beware.

    In a word, HORRIBLE! The car that the salesman scheduled us to come and test drive and hopefully purchase was sold the day before our appointment. That car was nice and for a good price. I'm sure it was merely a decoy car used to lure buyers in so that they can sell you a much more expensive vehicle. In hindsight, I would bet that is exactly what they did to us. We ended up looking a and deciding on another more expensive vehicle just as they had planned. We were not able to get in contact with our personal banker because it was Saturday so we were going to leave and come back Monday to make the purchase so that we could deal with our banker and get the best possible APR, etc. The sales manager and finance manager followed us to our car continuing to make the sell. They convinced us that the car had other buyers looking at it and it would definitely be sold before we could get back Monday. They convinced us that we could temporarily do the financing through them (AutoNation Finance) to take the car off the market and then on Monday we could simply have our banker contact them and they would refinance the car through my banker and it would all be quick, painless and simple. No problem they said! They said they do this all the time. We finally gave in and agreed to do that as long as it wouldn't be complicated or cause us or my banker any heartburn. They assured us that it wasn't going to be any trouble whatsoever. Once we signed for the financing, they came at us with Extended Auto Service Warranty, Theft Protection, and GAP insurance. They told us the horror stories of how people have declined these must have policies and ended up losing everything. They told us that once we drive off the lot, we are on our own. If anything goes wrong, we would have to take care of it out of our own pocket. They scared us into buying all three policies and assured us that cancellation of the policies was as simple as a phone call to either of them within 60 days and we would get an instant 100% refund, no questions asked. That was all just deceptive as could be. Nothing was easy about it at all. After 2 months of writing letters, making countless phone calls, emails, text messages and even driving to the dealership, we still hadn't gotten refunded. They dodged our calls and refused to answer emails. No one would help us. We filed a complaint through the State but even that would take time. It has been almost 3 months now and we still haven't got all of our money refunded. Now they have told us to give them another 6-8 weeks to complete the refund. It's all a scam to keep your funds in their bank as long as humanly possible. They do not want to refund your money. You will fight for months to get it back and still may not. All I can say is that we have already had the car in the shop 2 times and have spent over $500 on repairs and we still haven't gotten our money back from AutoNation North Richland Hills for the policies they conned us into purchasing. BEWARE!!!!

    Our salesman, Conner, did an excellent job. He was not overbearing, talked to us and asked us what exactly we were looking for and diligently went to work in finding our car in the timeline we needed which was immediate. He even drove to the dealership where it was located and brought it back same day. We have bought multiple cars from this dealership and there is a reason we keep returning - salesman like Conner. Thank you

    I just bought a car here and it was easy to schedule a test drive of the car I found on Cargurus. I decided to purchase and after having issues with my bank, they went above and beyond to help get the issue resolved. Staff was friendly and didn't harass me like most dealerships do. I have been buying from Carvana or Vroom for several years now to avoid dealerships so this was my first dealership experience in awhile. I was pleased and would recommend this dealership to people.

    We were greeted promptly by a very nice sales associate, Bashar Nemri. He was patient as we walked the lot, looking at a well stocked inventory. We never felt pressured as he listened to what we were looking for. Once we decided that the Tucson was the car for us, we returned and Bashar made the purchase experience pleasant and efficient as we reached a purchase price agreement. Bashar was professional, courteous and respectful of our time and made the process as quick as possible. As we then met with Jesus in Credit, he made the signing of the agreement a painless process. Although a few things along the way had to be corrected because Jesus was fairly new in his position, he was still professional and we didn’t mind him needing to bring in a colleague to help. Everyone we met was so nice. I realize we were in the buying stage but we encountered attitudes at other dealers when we were looking that seemed less than interested in whether we bought something or not. The attitudes at AutoNation in North Richland Hills were inviting but not pushy. I would recommend this dealer and the Hyundai product to anyone.

    On a Saturday, we found a car at a different dealership than the one we were working with, but they went and got the car and brought it to us to view. From there, we knew we wanted the car, but had a time crunch with reservations that could not be moved. Jaden and everyone at AN North Richland Hills made it happen in our timeline!

    We did like the sales person, Jaden from the start. Warm personality and knowledgeable. We love our new Tucson Hybrid limited. (Loaded with all the bells & whistles) The finance person, Randall was also knowledgeable and very efficient. The only hiccup in the deal was that Jaden did not pass on the information about the license plates on the trade-in vehicle were to be transferred to the new vehicle. (Veterans disable plates), to the finance manager. This is the first time this has happened and previously it had been flawless with four other vehicles.

    Poor follow up after the sale. Even promises on paper are not honored. All my calls have been avoided and messages not returned. I like the car but no help from the staff. Once the sale was over it was OVER.

    The salesman who helped me was Mo Ibrahim. He was so kind and respectful, and I would buy from him again. I visited another dealership earlier in the day, and the salesman there did all the expected high pressure tactics: "I've got another family trying to buy this car," adding extras that *could not be undone* to the price of the car, etcetera. It was an immediate turn off. My experience with Mo was the complete opposite. I normally hate buying from a dealership, but I would go back to AutoNation in North Richland Hills because Mo was honest and kind - no shady pressure tactics. What a great experience!
