    I brought my Silverado 1500 Crew Cab Z71 LT Texas Edition in for a routine oil change, filter, lube, etc. While in the shop, I had the service tech install new red brake caliper covers. WOW! These covers glisten like a new penny. I love the upgraded look. Mr. Bryan Stanley, my service advisor whom I love doing business with made me feel very welcome and a valued member of the James Wood dealership family in Decatur, Texas. The courtesy and professional manner in which are always given me make me a customer for life! Excellent Job team!! See y'all again next time.

    My truck was in the shop for multiple repairs. The dealership made sure I had a loaner the entire two months and kept me informed about the parts being on back order.     Second time driving an hour and 10 minutes for service. There are several service centers closer. But, the service, professionalism, and patience is why I return. Zach was extremely helpful with explaining and showing my son and I the issues with my vehicle what needed to be done to repair it. In addition, the service was done in a reasonable amount of time both visits.

  • Best Service Department Around

    This dealership is bar none to other dealerships, top noticed. I just had my oil changed and tires rotated. We had an appointment but arrived earlier than scheduled, they went ahead and took my pickup back. We waited for the service not knowing if they would go ahead and start on it or wait until the scheduled time. Within 45 minutes we were leaving which just happened to be at our original scheduled time. So they finished my pickup by the time they were originally supposed to start on my pickup. They washed it as well. They are friendly, and very professional. I would absolutely recommend anyone taking their vehicle to James Woods Motor Service department in Decatur.

    The only problem I have is that every time I take my truck in the loaner car they give me as a brand new vehicle and I have to work out of it because I’m giving them my work vehicle. Other than that they are wonderful people to work with. they are very pleasant And Brian, my service manager is Johnny on this spot

  • Poor Experience -Twice

    I took my car in for the same problems I had taken it to you to fix before. 1)The "Service Rear Suspension" light. It was my understanding that you were unsure of the issue, so you reset the light. And was told that it would now be on record and covered under warranty even down the road. 2)There is something wrong with the apple car play/bluetooth system. It turns off when I step on the break, turn the wheel, or hit a bump. You unable to duplicate the problem and told me that it was on record to be covered by warranty if the issue persists. It is still a problem, and I feel like I should be able to listen to a podcast or talk on the phone using the handsfree system in my $85,000 Tahoe. I do not feel this is too much to ask. After having my car 4 days, starting Oct 1, I called to say I needed to pick it up as long as the suspension problem was not going to cause an issue. (Keep in mind I have not heard from a single soul in 4 days) My husband stopped by on I think Oct 2 and was told you could not find any issues. I sent text, left messages, and called repeatedly on Friday. @4:32pm on Friday (the fourth day) Brian returns my call and leaves a voicemail that the suspension light is the same problem as before and it is fine to drive, and I can pick it up. My husband calls Brian back. Brian proceeds to tell him that we need to pay $400 to have the bad sensor replaced that GM says it is not an ongoing problem. Cleary my vehicle has an ongoing problem, as well as a sizable number of people on the internet. The CarPlay/Bluetooth issue was never addressed. So, we pick the car up on Saturday and the paperwork says that we were quoted and refused service. My problem is you had the car for 5 days and did not fix anything or even call me until day four at 4:32pm and this was after I told you I need the car back. You did not even bother to reset the suspension light. In my opinion this poor pitiful customer service as well as vehicle service. This is the fourth Tahoe that I have owned, and this $85,000 Tahoe has more issues than any of the others and COST MORE. I am extremely unhappy with the quality of your care and will make sure to share my experience.

    I enjoy getting service done on my truck here, because everyone treats me so well! My adviser, Bryan Stanley, knows I like to wait around, and he checks on me, and updates me, on finish time, what was wrong etc. so I can decide whether to stick around or have the dealership take me home for a bit. Also, everyone who walks by where I sit, always speaks and sometimes even talks to me for a minute. I feel like family here!!! Thank you all!
