by del21 on 06/26/2015The dealership tried to sell me on the Costco Car program which sells the car at just above invoice. I showed them the Edmunds Price Promise coupon which had a lower price than the Costco price sheet and the salesman and sales manager acted… like they had never seen one. I had to tell them that they are the only BMW dealers in the DFW area that honors them and that on a review a previous customer had praised them after that customer had used a Price Promise coupon to purchase a car. The negotiation process took very long because they try to shift numbers around to confuse you and give you the idea that they are giving you a good deal. They were not aware of the Anniversary Credit BMW was offering and they were not aware of the College Grad credit, I had to show them where they were at on the BMW webpage. These guys did not have their act together. The best customer for any dealership is the one who just wants to get into the car and does no research about the price of the car or their credit. They always tell you that they are not making much money on the deal, yeah right, which at one point I was told. Any new car buyer needs to read Edmunds buying tips, especially the story of the guy who went undercover for Edmunds. I learned a lot from it and turned the tables on the dealership and walked out paying under invoice for the car and getting what I asked for on my trade-in plus the lowest interest rate offered by the manufacturer. The most important thing to remember is that any dealership does not want a customer to walk out the door without buying (they are selling profit) so you have to be patient and not show them your cards. They are doing the same thing except in reverse. You want to buy a car without paying much for it and they want to sell it for as much as you are willing to pay. It has to be a win/win situation for both. You can always walk away which is something they do not want you to do. As I read some of the good reviews of BMW Dallas I can only think that most of these customers think they got a good deal but I think they paid a little more for the car and they feel they got the best deal they could possibly have gotten.We're disappointed for any inconvenience you may have experienced in your dealings with our location. Unlike some other dealers, Ryan was happy to let me test drive the M3 and treated me as a serious buyer from minute… one of our interaction. Ryan was never pushy and proved quite knowledgeable not only about the M3 but about some of its competition which I was cross shopping at the time (namely the Lexus RCF). I would not hesitate to refer others to Ryan and BMW of Dallas. My breakin service should be due in the next month and I'm hoping the service staff is as good and easy to deal with as the sales staff.Thank you. Purchase of M235 Conv
by gwh4 on 03/24/2015This was my fourth BMW purchased. I was driving a 2011 M3 conv. which was awesome. I was excited to drive the 235 which did not disappoint when in the Sport Plus with the DSC off. The car is much more planted and handles 320 hp very well.… In the Eco mode the mileage was 38 MPG on the trip back from Dallas. I first drove the 235 in Austin, but they only had a convertible that was for demo's only. Not for sale???? I could order one. I went home did a search and found that Dallas BMW had two and that they were all for sale. I called the Dallas dealership and spoke to Chris Jurgens, he was great and made a deal over the phone. Not wanting to turn my back on the Austin store I called them back and told them I had found another 235 for sale. Now the dealer was willing to sell their demo car.....Funny how that works. I asked them to match the deal from Dallas. They could not, they offered me thousands less on my M3 than the Dallas store. I drove to the dealership the next day and purchased the 235. The M235 is not a M3, but the creature comforts (Nav, Google earth, audio) is greatly improved over the 2011 model. I can't say enough about the Eco mode and the fuel saving. It's like have two different cars. I have not had the 235 to the track, I wish it came with a limited slip rear end from the factory. This was the problem with the 135 I had in 2008. After having the 235 for a few weeks I do not regret the purchase and still have a smile on my face when I press the accelerator! He truly made the… buying experience hassle-free and EASY for us when we purchase our BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo . Since this was our first BMW, there was some apprehension but Jared made us comfortable by answering all our questions, showing us the features of the car that we would have never figured out on our own. by johne9 on 03/06/2015I would like to share my experience with your guys. I am a customer in Seattle Washington, which is thousands of miles away from BMW of Dallas. About 2 months ago, I was looking for a used BMW M6 online. I found out that they have a… pretty good M6 in their inventory. So I asked for a quote, and a salesman (Jay Purdy) reply me within very short of time. After I had been communicate with him, I decided to buy this car in distance because he was passionate and made me have a good experience of purchasing the car. So far, everything was good. After waiting for 3 weeks, the car finally arrivals. Then, I realize the car does not have the second key, which makes me wonder why a car worth 80,000 only has one key. So I called Jay, and he told me that they (dealer) are ordering a new key for me and it will be shipped when they have it. After waiting for 2-3 weeks, the nightmare starts. I called Jays number and no one answers, and no email replies as well. Finally, after I called sales number on their website and talk to someone, and this guy told me that Jay Purdy is no longer with them. So I asked him what about the issue that Jay left over? He said he would contact the sales manager and let me know whats going on. And you know what, that was end of the story. I tried to call the manager for so many times and left so many voice messages. And finally, sales manager Denial told me that he could do nothing with it, and let me talk to another sales manager John Bosco. After million of phone calls, John picked phone once and told me once they receive my documentation, they would go ahead order my key. After I send my documentations to him, I thought someone was going to help me out with it and unbelievably that was BS as well. John Bosco never picks up my phone call again. The entire thing is the worst experience I have ever had in my life. I can not image how would the people like them become the leader of the sales team and how would the salesmen going to be with their supervision. I feel like they are taking advantage of I am being far away and treated me with so much disrespect by ignoring me. A couple of hundred dollars key isnt a big thing compare to the $80,000 car. But it clearly defines who these people are, they would do anything to get your money with no moral and manner. In short, what I am trying to say is if you just want to buy a car from them and 100% sure that you will never interact with these people. Then, go for it, they will treat you as their God. However, if you may need to somehow interact with them after they get your money, RUN AWAY AS FAR AS YOU CAN. They will never care about you and treat like [non-permissible content removed]. PLEASE THINK CLEARLY BEFORE YOU GO THERE. I hope my review would help.Thank you very much for sharing these comments. The situation you described is not typical of the staff at our dealership.
